  1. I don't know how to explain this, but my car last week somehow lost 60 rkw. What started it all was , As i take off from the light the car would seem to hesitate a little bit and then she was fine. She would pop a hell of a lot also between gear changes. So i took the car to my local turner and go him to have a look. He threw it onto the dyno and checked the following. Mixtures (air/fuel ratio) Timing operation of engine components adjust mixtures accordingly Compression test Removed and replaced spark plugs Check cam timing Adjust ignition timing Adjust cruise mixtures. Now what he found was that the car was out by 10 degrees. I asked him how is this possible. He could not explain to me as to how this came about. He has corrected the problem but we are still missing 15 rkw and we still don't know how/why. Before you start bagging him these guys have been the in game for at least 20 years and know there stuff, But this problem is a strange one. So i thought i'll post this one up to see if any of you tech heads could shed some light on to this. Before i forget my car is a R32 GTR and has the following mods Turbos PFC Injectors 700 cc 044 fuel pump Split fire coils Adjustable cam gears I'm either thinking either boost leak or Exhaust as to why we can't get the 15 krws back. Any help would be great guys Cheers

  3. I have an aftermarket adj fuel presser valve fitted with gauge and as soon as I turn it off the pressure drops to 0 really quickly.
  4. I have been have starting issues where when I start my car it takes about two goes before it will start. This has only happen after I had a new fuel pump, 700cc injectors and adjustable cam gears fitted. Is this something I can fix myself using the hand controller (PFC) or will I need to take the car back to where I got all the work/tune done?

  8. Thats Correct the nissan badge is on the bonnet. The round circle with nissan written through the center. Also i have a nissan badge on the back. If i had some pic's i would upload them but it's in the shop getting some work done to it.
  9. I used a standard belt when I got mine changed. Yesterday I to my car to a reputable performance work shop and was told that the noise that I was referring to is "my clutch fan is not working a t full capacity. He said that when the fluid is cold the fan has to work extra harder pulling air." He also mentioned that the air out side being hotter will cause the fan to work harder. I asked if I need to replace it and he said not straight away as its still working ok. hmmmm what do people thing
  10. The tensioner and idler pulleys were changed when the timing belt was changed. I did try the screwdriver trick on top the rocker covers and i can hear the wurring noise.
  11. Hi everyone I’m hoping someone out there might be able to shed some light on this. I have noticed since yesterday that when I’m driving my car I can hear a wired wurring sound coming from the engine. The sound is from 1500rmp to about 3500 rpm to 4000rpm. When I open the bonnet with the car running and rev it sound like its coming from the top of the engine. The car is a 1991 R32GTR. It has got 155000 ks on the clock, Timing belt has be change at the 100000k service. I have been using motal turbo light 10 - 40 since owning the car but have changed only recently to motal v300 10 - 40. Car has a power fc with standard fuel system. Turbos are Garret Gt 25/60R on 14.psi at 280kw. Any help will be great Thanks

  20. Hi all I just had a new clutch fitted (extreme) with a Chromoly flywheel. When I first start the car when its cold it seems to idle around the 1500-2000rpm mark and when I tap the accelerator it sticks. IT won’t idle down. After it’s got a bit warm it seams to idle normally around 950 rpm. The ecu is a Power FC. I was thinking maybe the cold start or because of the flywheel being lighter it may be the reason behind it. Dose anyone have any ideas as what it could be?
