Sorry guys I was having trouble with my account and couldn't login. My dads car had trouble getting complianced - but it's now got the road worthy and I think it's been rego'd and ready for the road/tracks!

haha he obviously couldn't help himself! Now in regards to being on the road - it's not yet. The best part ofcourse is to try and get it registered with all the gear on the car...which unfortunately wont be in time for drift mania.

Well my old man now has his car back in all it's 4wd glory. On a side note - Dave lost 4 points after speeding in it and being nabbed by the police!

I see where you're coming from grandmaster. I do have a fair bit of cash left over that im willing to put into it if it'll be something that I can use as a drift car down the road. I'm torn between getting this and upgrading it slightly or just plugging all that cash into my main r33 and get even more performance out of it...so very torn... :confused:

haha the poor bugger. I mean really how would you feel if you saw that your pride and dream was being bagged out by people you didn't even know knew of your car! hahaha...it's hilarious!

Yeah cheers guys. My main car is a manual so im not looking to change that in a hurry. I just thought at the good price I can get this auto for it might be fun to burn about in and learn a trick or two without putting my main car at risk or harms way.

That's true it all comes down to taste. That's why a "good" set of wheels make a car in my opinion. I'm not saying a good set has to be chrome either.

Agreed. I wasn't really thinking along those lines because I dont think anyone who owns such a bummy vehicle could afford such tasty mags. I'm thinking of the few cars that get about that dont try and pretend to be something they're not...but just have a nice set of mags on to make it look presentable.

Guys & Girls (I have yet to see a girl in here though...but never the less) What do you all think of the Automatic gearbox in a skyline? In particular a R33 GTS-T which is something I can get my hands on as a second car and maybe thrash it around a fair bit and learn to drift in. Are they still fast (with turbo) and react just as good as the manual? Any insight into this would be good. I'm also interested in what modifications can be done to the auto to perhaps upgrade the gearbox and strengthen it...

I dont mind a car that has a decent set of wheels on it because in my opinion a good set of wheels makes a car. However when people decide to stick GT wings and crazy bodykits that really just scream of rice boy then that annoys me! I really cannot stand holden commodore or Ford drivers. The newer model drivers are fine but the older model drivers act like real morons on the road and it's no wonder they're lowering the speed limits due to these hacks. Back when I had my Lancer they would always try and get me revved up to have a drag race at the lights. I would always just sit there with a silly look on my face trying to reflect the "get a life you idiot" look to them. Hmm yes end of rant, lol.

That's dad's car alright! So the old owner actually converted it from 4 wheel to rear wheel?! That does NOT make sense! Atleast dad is doing the right thing and changing it BACK! hehe the green machine!
