    Definately not in the gearbox. More than likely a wheel bearing or even possibly a diff. Hard to say from the recording.

    Definately go the rb25 turbo. I went from the stock 20 turbo running 13psi to the rb25 turbo only running 10psi and there was an increase. Sure there is a tad more lag, but well worth the trade off. If it wasn't worthwhile, how come so many people have done it???

    i have rb25de bottom end (no head). Bores in good condition, if that helps. Located in Newcastle (NSW).

    G-force in newcastle knows their stuff and pretty damned good on the haltech's as well.

    Interested in complete head only. What have the valve springs been upgraded to? Is head still for sale?

    you can drill out the holes on the rb20 turbo elbow. Doesn't leave much meat left on the elbow, but does make it fit.
