i don't know if anyone has noticed but there is nothing in the " FORCED INDUCTION QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE" under RB26. This would be a good thread to put there for people trying to decide what turbos to put on there gtr. just an idea????????

Drivability problems??? Why is that??? Aren't these engines very similar??? this is happening and if we are going to run into major problems then he'll be probably be better off getting a 32gtr engine. i'm guessing someone must have done this before, can you please put in your two cents. i'm sorry if this has been discussed at length before but i can't find anything. thankyou

i've done a search trying to get info on putting a r33 gtr engine into an r32 gtr. Found this on the difference between them performance wise http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...topic=92904&hl= in it found this info - r33 has pull clutch unlike th r32 which is push. my mate is putting a r33 gtr engine in his r32 and is under the impression that it will bolt straight up to everything. Keeping in mind using r33 ecu, loom and turbos. (using r32 gearbox, clutch + so on) im not so sure. can people please list some threads or problems that he might run into. thankyou if clutches are different then this will cause a big problem? yes/no

Has anyone bought a thermal turbo blanket from horsepowerinabox.com???? Do they last?? and do they work??? I know very little about them but a friend bought a cheaper one and it just fell apart after awhile. any info on these would be great. was interested in them because the heat-shields above my turbos in my car are in shabby condition and thought i'd rip em out and buy a couple of these -

is there anywhere in brisbane that do side skirts for 32 gtr's. I've called dmd the image but they said they only do the two types on their website and i'm not interested as they are way too over the top. I was after something simple like the one in this photo. I can't remember where i found this photo, i was hoping it was off this forum so they could let me know where they got it. thanx

he'll do a good job and there will be a warranty and it will not cost more than 7k, they are the terms. If i source a rb25 gearbox, what supporting parts do i need to fit it or will it just slot in and replace the rb20 one????????

don't scare me by saying that, shit. i want to use mt gearbox cuz i just put an new clutch in. Do you's think it would be a good idea to get the rb26 gearbox as well??????

if your cashed up enough to do all that work why dont you sell the gtst and buy a gtr. youll be able to get that power easy out of a gtr

i would never ever swap two small turbos for one big turbo. two small turbos surely would always spool up faster and produce the same if not more power than one big one. correct me if im wrong

i'm not getting everything in the frontcut though, just engine intercooler, ecu and loom. as far as i know using my transmission, diff and tail shaft. A mate organised it through a friend at extreme automotive, i think??? i know they are doing the work

i'm getting a r32 rb26dett (compression tested 160 all the way through), ecu and loom, used large hybrid intercooler kit. all in very good condition. All installed into my 32 gtst, so all labour included. $7,000 tuned and running. Is this a good deal?? or should i keep looking

mine will randomly decide to blow hot air when supposed to be cold and cold air when its supposed to be hot. i replaced the unit with no luck???????? ive just gotten used to having thw windows down all the time now any ideas???????

i've tried heaps of places bout carbon fiber and it looks like no one in australia has tested it and/or has a certificate to say it meets australian standards or whatever they want. If you want carbon fiber, you have to pay to get it tested and wreck at least one, then you can get a certificate and have it legally. So someone do it and give me a copy . Long story short, all carbon fiber hoods are illegal ( i'll still be keeping mine, just put my mates hood on to get checked off at defect check and put mine back on) Go carbon fiber
