  1. Item: 2 garrett 2871R-10's Basicly these are HKS GTR-S' Garrett specs can be found on their web site. They are up for sale as im now going larger since the engine is run in and ready to go. Age: They have done 1000Km's on my Brand new engine to run it in, Have been stripped, cleaned and Are basicly in Brand new condition. To Fit: They are a BOLT on upgrade for the RB26. Ill supply the relevant drain fittings for them as well Location: Located in sydney but prepared to work out shipping costs with buyer Contact: Via PM, or in here. Price I want $2500 neg. They are significantly more new and these are basicly brand new turbos so your saving a lot of money with them. These were sold last week however looks like the buys have fallen through so back up for sale.
  2. High mount stainless manifold, 38mm external wategate, Sliding performance built "T04R" still under warranty never been fitted or used. Good quality manifold and gate. More specs to come when I find the info sheet. Asking $2000 for the lot can supply exhaust flanges etc and lines as well. Two Garrett GT2871R-10's have done 850Kms on my Brand new engine and are being removed this weekend. Im going with a twin high mount kit so these have simply been used to run an engine in and served their purpose well. They will be cleaned and reassembled by GCG before sold to make sure they are like new still. receipts from new can also be supplied but they are litteraly 850km's old. all specs and comparisions can be done HERE and allternativly till the end of the week they can be veiwed on the vehicle prior to purchase. Im asking $2500 and negotiable to a degree. Pair of precission turbo's "N1" rebuilt turbos. These were done in '06 and now require a rebuild as they suffered an oil supply issue. Basicly they have been assessed by Precission and quoted $800 each to rebuild. They are worth 2200 new in good condition so im asking $400 as they are and I can organise repairs if need be. Full set of RB26 rods, been shot peened and journals are closed and honed ready for use. New studs and nuts. $200 Nismo clutch plate to suit RB26 push type, next to no wear what so ever. removed due to twin plate upgrade when gearbox failed. $200 Just jap oil cooler kit. was purchased to replace my old kit but I now have another jap kit ill be using. $250 Thanks Brad

  4. GTR is home and running, fully caged, gutted and nearly ready for some abuse. Hopefully get a few K's on the new engine this week! So see how it goes in the next few days but might be making the trip down.
  5. even with a little air in the line you will still get front drive to a point. Sounds like your transfer has called it a day. They are not overly difficult to overhaul.

  8. The ECU gets its feedback from the sensor which is in the exhaust, Carby cleaner etc can be very potent and easily damage delicate oxygen sensors. Hell it eats rubber seals around throttle bodies its know to kill sensors so id be starting there if its only happened since you did the clean out
  9. Or the cleaner you used in the AAC valve has killed the narrown band sensor you have. Pretty potent stuff and not un common to happen
  10. Intersting plenum set-up on that car, looks to be a orignal plenum with the 6 throttles removed anda big single fitted?? correct me if im wrong?? If its running one of the old EMS' then definitly look into a power FC or an E11V2 would be my persoanl pick. Those EMS' actually work reasonably well for what they were origianlly designed to run. Be warey however if its a plug in adaptor loom or has been hard wired into the factory loom. This will effect your choice dramaticly unless your willing to purchase a new "virgin" loom Cams gears can be fitted and nutted out without ECU tunning, your not going to get the best from them but still worth getting done now. Whilst its there might as well do the water pump and timing belt to be sure!

  13. ive used 5000's many many times and never had any dramas. Recently on a stock braked GTR the 4000's lasted about 3 months and never even seen the road before cracking. We have 5000's on Greg's S15 and hauling the big RB26 time after time has not effected them in any way. My GTR has 355's fitted but wont be used till the oran park sprint in october.

  15. Explain to me how removing timing is going to improve his midrange??? Id really like to know! It looks like the exhaust housing may be to small If its not retard to much in the topend. What sort of timing is it running through the top?? and like others have suggested what exhaust housing are you using??

  17. The engine they were fitted do spun a bearing during run in and basicly took everything out with it, turbos were obviously damaged, cams, crank the whole lot. New turbos were fitted to get the car back on the road faster as the turbos were not checked till they were about to be re-fitted to the engine. It was running OEM actuators with no controller so just 1 bar but was only running the engine in so they never really seen any work.

  19. both turbo's need the beraings done. wheels and housings are perfect on both turbos.
  20. For sale I have apair of 6 month old HKS 2530's Only problem is the bearings are shot. Basicly the wheels and housings are perfect the bearings need replacing. I have been quoted approx $1000 by GCG to repair them Im asking 1000 for them but if you think its not a fair price or want a quote before buying then feel free to do so/ make an offer

  22. cat is a remote possibility but being a GTR dave is going to be right in that its spat an exhaust wheel. Blocked cat usually it will feel flat and retarded one blown turo will result in no boost what so ever and the symptoms you described
  23. installation errors Oh and from memory the rings that ACL use with their RB26 pistons are meant to be solid rectangular 1st ring and stepped 2nd ring so its possible you rings were put in arse about as well. (yes it does matter) Those stepped rings are a very brittle matterial and easy to break when installing too.
