  1. I did receive it dean but havent had the chance to reply as yet. I always rather use an alloy sump for a couple of reasons. -Alloy pans form a more structural part of the engine block than a pressed steel pan. -I rather work with alloy than steel -the alloy pan has the gearbox bolt section You can use the gearbox lower sections from an rb25 from memory.
  2. Okay... Not sure if your direction is towards me or not but righto. I can only fathom your a mate of blakes or you don't like me. (I don't even know you?) Or you just felt like having a rant....
  3. Also the 180sx idea won't work. The widths are different. Front leg lengths are different. Rear leg mounting angles are wrong. It would cost more to modify than buying a cage to suit from a local supplier
  4. I do r33 weld in and bolt in cages but not in "kit" forms. If I have the vehicle I'll fabricate a cage to suit. Otherwise it becomes a nightmare with fitting issues, insurance issues if/when the vehicle is rolled and injury occurs, the problems outweigh the profit.
  5. Martin he wanted me to put a return flow intercooler kit together for him and charge him $200 as he already paid $500 to someone else and was ripped off I approached him to offer some closure to his problem, explaining what I knew about the cooler and its current state, he replied saying my work looked "pro" and offered to pay me $200 to do the job, I declined and stated my reasons, one being I spend more than that buying the materials required! His obviously under the impression im in some way responcible and hasnt done anything about BSA himself Now here is the EXACT photos I sent to Novus. I offered to post him this exact intercooler which is all that exists of his intercooler kit. There is no pipes and there never was any. I clearly remember one conversation I had with Blake when I suggested he just returned the guys money (this was months ago when I seen the intercooler for the first time and threw up!) he replied and said he had already done that. Truth be told blake never even had a vehicle to build the kit on! how he planned to fabricate such an intricate piping system without a car is unknown to me I left the choice up to him if he wanted to spend the money having it posted to him. He declined and told me to do whatever I wanted with it. Its still sitting next to my rubbish dumpster...... Make judgements as you will but I can sleep easy knowing that I have done nothing wrong here and only tried to offer someone some closure to being ripped off so atleast they knew what had become of their "kit" Im not going to do a return flow cooler for $200. I dont even do cooler kits as its a pain when they dont fit and the chinese make enough kits to flood the market!
  6. Your acting like I'm the one who ripped you off still! I've explained on an open forum what has been said between myself and you! I've tried calling you to organize sending you the half added intercooler you own which you declined. I have gotten off my arse and been pro active in chasing Blake and being forcefull about receiving my money back. Why don't you be the same and track down his address/contact number/phone police/hitman/whatever else you like. I'm sorry you have been hardly done by but Holding me responsible because I'm here and Blake isn't just does not sound very fair....
  7. The heap got a wash last time it left my workshop I think..... I remember Dylan outside in the freezing cold washing it at 7:30am.
  8. I'll try and answer all the questions Vacuum in the crankcase has very little to do with the overall dry sump setup, it's more of a by product that we utilize because it's there. A dry sump does not help one little bit with the rb26's head to sump return issue if the engine is not sealed. However when you seal the head and create vacuum the problem is eliminated as gravity is no longer a concern. Nor is air having to get back up into the head from the crankcase. Negative pressure also improves windage obviously and the parasitic loss of oil friction on the crankshaft. There is a fine line to setting the vacuum levels. Too much and you starve the little ends and destroy gudgeon pins. To little and your robbing yourself. I've seen engines running way to much vacuum as they make more hp but they also destroy themselves after a day. So Whilst your theory about adjusting to Maximise hp is common it's also a big trap for inexperienced and does cost engines. The pumps are commonly designed with internal scavenging manifolds. So the 3 scavenging chambers are internally linked after the gear sets to return to the tank. Pumps all usually have an internal pressure relife valve. Scavenge lines are usually smaller than the return port and usually pumps have a scavenge port designed into them as well. We are not concerned with frothy oil in the sump or the pump. Frothy oil actually promotes vacuum, tank design and well designed baffling in the tank is where the oil is "defrothed" before being sent back to the pump The tank is just as important as the sump and pump unless your running an independent oil separator. Tanks are always vented.
  9. Hey mate I sure do. It's still In the same place on the shelf in my garage. Time frame for the half moons I don't know at this stage. They are machined by a mate when his CNC machines are slow. I need some in the next week so I'd hope his done them by then.
  10. I have a couple of them. Your welcome to borrow one but will have to pick up from campbeltown
  11. I have received the 1st of several repayments that was agreed by Blake. I know he is still reading sau and I will reassure him I'll stay true to my word if he stays true to his.
  12. Also why I am here I'll put this link up http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/403292-extension-of-buyer-beware/page__pid__6416315#entry6416315 I've seriously had nothing but trouble from this BSA customs crap and I'm over it. I've tried to help out people who've been ripped of by him. I myself have lost considerable sums of money and not to mention time that I've spent chasing up problems left behind. The guys who have emailed me demanding I fix the mess he's left I'm sorry but I won't Be doing that. There is a full police report and fraud investigation that I'm happy to give you the details for so even they can confirm I'm not the one who's ripping you off.
  13. Nick I believe you should well and truely have received the head by now?? Martin could you check your email? Guys I'm rarely on Sau anymore and hardly reply to any pm due to massive time constraints and the shear amount of them I get which are time wasters Email me with any queries and a reply is never far away.
  14. I've use one fuel lab pump which was supplied by a customer. It worked okay but it also failed about 6months latter. I use Weldon personally. Despite being noisey they get the job done. If your using one of the large pumps I'd advise setting the surge tank up so the Weldon can create vacuum inside the surge and fill it up itself ( they are actually designed to draw fuel vertically up to 4ft) I've found that when using a lift pump to feed the surge the weldon will create enough negative pressure to collapse the hose feeding the tank. One -12 from surge to bottom of main tank. One -12 from pump inlet to surge All engine returns running back to main tank (to allow maximum vacuum inside the surge tank) Has work perfectly on several circuit GTR's and national V8 taxis I've converted to E85.
  15. These are near new 6piston Alcon calipers with 90% ferodo ds2500 pads. They take a 380x36mm rotor The rotors supplied are to suit a VE Holden Comodore which you may be able to redrill. Thu are single piece. Adaptors supplied are also to suit a VE Comodore. But the calipers are radial mounted. I want a quick easy sale of $2500 for the lot which is half what they are worth new. Photos up latter today Pick up from Campbeltown, postage is expensive due to rotor weight
  16. Email received. I'm currently waiting for more of these to be machined. The first batch sold in a week with several places buying several pairs.
  17. In conjunction with Ross balancers I'm pleased to bring the sau community these complete single stage external oil pump kits for the entire range of RB series engines. We are able to offer a kit to suit both drivers side AND passengers side pump mounting for those street driven vehicles which want to retain factory aircon operation. So what's included in this setup. 1x CNC machined external pump bracket (optional mounting location) 1x single stage external oil pump with external oil bypass valve 1x Ross balancer 1x Ross drive mandrel to suit balancer 1x pair of HTD drive gears 1x HTD belt to suit 1x power steering idler kit 1x pump shim kit to adjust belt tension. 1x fittings and hose kit to suit pump location 1x pro fabrication exchange sump, specifically designed and fabricated to suit this external pump setup, 9L capacity with baffle plates. Now why should you purchase this kit from us instead of dealing with Ross direct??? This normally retails for $3500 without the sump pan and any additional fittings/ hose. I am able to offer this oil system solution with a sump pan and fittings to Sau members for $4400 Inc gst A regular sump extension is going to set you back around $1100. Fittings and and hose is around $450. That's a value of $5050 to purchase this kit direct from Ross and have the sump supplied additionally. Also For those wanting a solid solution to the powersteering belt issues suffered by the use of some aftermarket balancers we are also able to offer a HTD drive kit for the powersteering pump at an additional cost. Enquiries can be forwarded to [email protected]
  18. Running a power cable under the car on any vehicle is just wrong. Why would you want the cable exposed to so many ellements that are behond your control? Dirt and road crud building up. Water and mud, rocks sticks any type of rubbish. I've seen battery cables properly secured under vehicles which has gone brittle from the elements and the lining has shrunk and cracked. Leaving exposed cable held tightly to the floor pan..... Run your cables inside the car next to the sil panel held securly and smartly insulated from hazards. It will live a much longer and safer life there.
  19. The people I use handle all of my Problems and are very efficient. It does cost a few bucks but if it means I recover 80% of what's owed it's well worth it. Bsa's problem is his broke and really only has one asset that's not worth the sum of what he owes. This Friday his due to make the first payment to me. If it's not there he has been warned I'll be sending collectors. The other way for people to act is to file a small claims case
  20. Hahahahaha what happened to this car/project......... Oh that's right BSA got kicked out of the unit he was living in and left the car sitting in the parking spot! Abandoned the car and left the real estate to clean up his mess.
  21. Doing this as an introduction for the complete dry sump setups I'm now selling. This will stay open for 1month (till the 1st august) as an eoi. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/403797-rb-dry-sump-setup-complete-start-to-finish/page__pid__6424652#entry6424652 This is the kit and a regular price for it. If I can do 3-5 the price will reduce to approx $6600. If it's 5 or more the price can reduce further to possibly $6000. I'm working with a supply deal so the more that's ordered the larger the discount I can negotiate. Unfortunately the fittings and hose is almost being supplied at my cost price in that thread which is massively discounted from retail. If I can place a 15k order I may be able to secure another 5% discount. Like I said open till the 1st and deposits will be required. (I'll be outlaying a hefty amount of cash if this goes ahead so 50% deposits will be required & the remaining before shipping) Everything is able to be assembled within 7days pending pump and tank availability. Worst case senario 14working days to air freight pumps here

All you need to do is remove the gears from the factory oil pump and plumb in the breather system as described in the instructions provided with the kit.
  23. I'm not sure if whiteboy ever got told the truth about his turbo and parts...... Short story is it wa sold him and never delivered now posted BSA then sold it to another guy and the car came to my shop for BSA to fit the thing and do a dodgy external gate modification. The gate modification was an abortion and he manged to destroy my holesaw in the process, it was a waste of good welding gas too! The job was half done before Blake had to go back to working on the trailer he was doing for me. So he got one of his "mates" Luke to come up and finish the turbo installation job. Luke did a decent job and the dump pipe/screamer was then fabricated out of offcut bits of scrap that BSA had laying around everywhere. The car then got driven home by BSA and returned to the owner. Luke was and still is owed $300 for his time spent finishing the job...... The turbo which belonged to whiteboy is still on another car which has some rude dump pipe hanging off the back of it. Whiteboy hasn't been repaid what he was owed (no surprises there) I believe the reason BSA never sent the turbo/exhaust etc is the fact that he didn't have the exhaust etc and the condition of what je did have was so under par it wasn't worth sending! Same as the intercooler kit! Blake has been given untill the 6th to begin repaying me the money I've been duded. It has been made very clear to him that should he miss a payment or have any bullshit banking issues there will be debt collectors knocking on his/his parents door. I already have the address to send them too and already have the right group of debt collectors to send, they have been very successful in the past. It's also worth mentioning that the only asset BSA has is an e36 BMW which he purchased very recently (presumably with all of your money) I made the offer to square his debt if he signed the rego papers over to me. I don't believe the car has even been transfered into his name though as when the plates were run it's owned by someone else.....
  24. Crap so you want me to return $9000 worth of tires I just had delivered for your GTR brighty....
  25. And while I'm here too. The only person to say anything decent about Blake in this thread dori34. You've also been had I believe. There is a pair of bride seat rails that are at blakes house on the central coast that he was going to weld up at jez's workshop...... Those seat rails have been abandoned and are sitting under my JJ Richards bin in the car park here..... Let me know if you want them and can organize to come pick them up.
