  5. I'll post up dimensions of the fuel cell latter today. It should fit behind the back seat of a R32. I was planning to use it as a water tank on my transporter but made something else. Yeah it is Dave.
  6. There is also an R32 Gtst rolling shell that id really like to rid myself of. Its a bare roller with doors and front guards, bootlid and no interior. Has been stripped ready to cage etc. I want $400 someone come and take it away!

  8. Due to be time poor and wanting to clear up some space im selling off a heap of good quality parts that have been accumulating for various cars I own but dont have the time to complete at the moment. Dailey engineering 6 stage dry sump pump This is used but has been 100% rebuilt and is in perfect condition. Has a CNC machined scavenger manifold with a -16 outlet welded on. Come with a top shelf Dailey engineering HTD pulley Asking $1000 with the pulley Barness 5 stage dry sump pump This pump is used and has been sitting for approx 2 years. Was run on one of my previous race cars and removed when the car was retired from racing. was flushed with cleaning solvent and filled with WD40 before sitting on the shelf. Comes with a front pulley and does require a new front o ring seal as the last time it was used it had a small leak from the housing seal. ( I have the seal and its easy to replace) Comes with a quick release scavenger manifold that was modified to suit the RB26 Asking $600 Pair of 996 porsche cup car front callipers These is in usable condition with no leaks or detrimental damage. They have been used on a race car and the visual condition is indicative of this. Cermaic piston crowns and they come with a set of Pagid pads 50% worn. They use a 380mm rotor which I may be able to supply at additional cost Asking $700 the pair Pair of 997 cup car rear callipers. Same deal as the fronts but these are in good condition visually and done less work than the fronts. Can supply rear pads for additional cost but no rotors available at the moment. 2x pairs to get rid of $500 a pair Brand new pair of wilwood Prolite 6R callipers These were bought brand new for a car I was building but have no time for. They have never been bolted to anything and have never had a pad fitted to them. Perfect condition, boxes are gone but never used the callipers. Stainless steel pistons, backings etc etc. Asking $800 Full set of rebuilt ohlins shocks These are the absolute holly grail of ohlins shocks. 4 way adjustable (high and low speed bump & rebound) external resiviour with a separate bump piston. They have been valved to suit an R34 GTR and have spherical bearing mounts top and bottom. They are used but have not been used since full rebuild and valving was done. These are not a direct fit into anything, more for the serious car builder who is doing a complete custom setup. Advise on spring choice etc is available to the buyer if requested. Asking $1800 Ridiculous price for a set of shocks that are worth 8x that new. RCI fuel cell Again brand new but never been fitted to a car. Was traded by me for a custom fuel cell in an escort rally car and I intended to use it for something one day but its in the way and must go. Ill have to check dimmesnsions but it assume 60-70L from the size of it. Covered in dust needs a good clean up, has always been sealed though. Asking $200 FG falcone 6 cyl engine and BF 5 speed XR6 turbo box Bought for a project but cant find time to do it. Engine had done 30,000Km's and has had some of the timing case removed. I have atomic springs, timing gear and balancer for it. Box is standard, also has bolt on accessories like alternator etc. Asking $1300 for the whole lot R34 Skyline GTT rolling shell Race only R34 GTT roller. Has all windows, pannels and a whole interior thats removed but complete minus seats and carpet. Has a brand new carbon bonnet, brand new carbon guards (over 1K worth) good headlights, 2 sets of tail lights, 2 boot lids and loads of other parts to go with it. Selling due to lack of time to do the job Asking $3000 with all the parts and carbon gear There is going to be more stuff coming up for sale but for the time being that is all. Everything is located in sydney, prefer pick up but may post smaller items at your cost. Low ball offers will be ingnored, decent offers will be replied to. Photos to come
  9. There is a few bars I'd rather it have but cost is always the issue. Ideally it would have had a X in the roof section, door jam drop bars, two or 3 fire wall bars and some gussets in the X intersections.
  10. A fairly comprehensive cage thats been done in an S13 silvia. Has a basic fire wall penetration.
  11. Brisbane is not a problem for us. Just send me a photo of the engine bay and use paint to draw a rough picture of where you want the catch can to be positioned. We can do the rest from the vehicles in the workshop. Examples of my work can be seen here http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/385051-pro-fabrications-fabrication/page__st__120 No backyard work from my workshop. We specialize in alloy and steel vehicle fabrication.
  12. Pete yours will be welded to the sump tomorrow. Did you get the exhaust today? Want one made up Troy? Photos up tomorrow of a fairly compehensive S13 cage that was finished last week.

  14. Martin at the moment im waiting for a batch of the fittings your wanting to be machined. Unfortunatly I cant quote you on a fitting that I dont know the cost of as yet. Im hoping to have them this week and will be sure to let you know the cost. Here is an RB26 extended sump that has been very popular as of late. Retains factory pick up and can use any off the shelf baffle system
  15. I don't think the engine will be run on anything other than sucrogen. Controlled fuel is critical with it's purpose. The car is hideously fast in any gear. it's an awesome bit of gear.
  16. Selling this as I'm upgrading to a 4post hoist with chassis jig and this is just going to take up valuable space in the workshop. It's a 3 phase hoist very sturdy and well built. I'll have to check brand tomorrow but it has a 1500kg lift rating (I've had full weight GTR's on it no problem) It will lift around 1400mm high. Buyer will need to fabricate some ramps as they are not included. I used this to bring cars up to a decent height when building cages. It allows doors etc to be opened and saved me crawling around on the floor. I like to keep it buy floor space is more valuable. It's bloody heavy and I can assist loading with a forklift. Asking $500.00 firm no offers. Pick up from south western Sydney. Photos some time tomorrow
  17. Hey guys I'm still around for a few more weeks yet. I think all pm's are now replied too. It's been ridiculously busy over the last couple of weeks. Looking forward to a break though! I think there is 2 sump orders outstanding but every other order should have been received on time.
  18. Tried to repair a few GTR bonnets and I can tell you don't even bother trying. The material they used is rubbish to weld, If you've ever tried to weld a recycled alloy street sign a GTR bonnet is verging on the same material.
  19. Also worth mentioning is as of 1/1/2012 there is now differnent requirements in the general requirements for club, state and national race levels. Not sure if previously competing vehicles will be exempt from the new regulations but cams couldn't give me the answer today so I'd assume not at this time.
  20. No the procedure is fairly simple. You build the vehicle according to ALL the manual sections that are relelvant. Not A B and J. All the general requirement sections must be compliable. The manufacturer of the cage completes a ROPS registration form. You the owner complete a log book application form, then organize a pre log book inspection. That inspection should cover all the cams shedules Inc fire, wheels/tires (size is irrelevant at this point) Pass or fail the inspector completes the last page of your log book application forms. At this stage you nominate a category to log book the car, ( it's not important which category) Once log booked you then decide you want to race IPRA. The IPRA association will have a pre race inspection scruiteneer come and view the vehicle ( alot of the tw this can be done at the same time as the log book inspection) This inspection checks for elligiablity. Wheel sizes, restrictors, panel work, interior trim etc etc etc. Pass or fail the form gets completed and submitted back to the assosiation. Pass, your now elligable to race, fail you need rectifications. Log book inspection will check all cams shedules for general requirements. Pre race inspections will check for elligabilty and conformity to the categories rules. If at any time you now decide to race the same car in production touring. Call the prod inspector and have an elligabilty inspection done (after you know it is right) The log book can still say IPRA but you are eligible for prod touring as the car passed the inspection. I've done 4 cars already this January all of which were don't this exact way by 3 separate scruiteneers.
  21. Foam only slows down the movement of the fuel sloshing it does not prevent it at all. If you drifting the vehicle the fast direction changes will allow the fuel to build up momentum then foam will be useless. You need swinging baffles to prevent surge in those circumstances. You have two simple options. Run the tank close to full or an external surge tank. In all my experience foam will not help sustained fuel sloshing.
  22. John Wilson Akz vehicle engineering. Use him a few times for my own vehicles too.
  23. I've done heaps of these setups. They can and do throw belts it's not all that uncommon. Make sure you have proper hob switch protection to shut the engine down. When we do Sumps for them they have a pickup that follows the perimeter of the Sumps bowl section floor. 3/4 diameter with holes bored in the bottom to draw through, end is blocked off. There is also additional baffling Around the pick up tube. The outlet comes out at the base of the sump with a -12an fitting. External setups require a far larger oil supply than the factory pick up can supply, you need to know the flow rates of the pump you have to design a pick up arrangement to suit it. You'll need more than the ordinary oil control modifications with some external pumps as well. I think you need to sit down and actually work out what your doing with it rather than trying to throw a restrictor and pick up at it. That won't work.
  24. My twin turbo 4.0L 350z gets 18L/100k It doesn't have a tow bar and I cane the crap out of it, it doesn't even know if there is a hill just powers along in 6th. Pointless comparison but kinda suits the way this thread goes from time to time.....
  25. It doesnt have a rollcage at the moment no, However it is stripped and ready to be caged. If you want to buy it I can cage it before you pick it up that's no problem at all. Send me an email and I'll send you some photos of it tomorrow. Brad
