  1. It doesnt have a rollcage at the moment no, However it is stripped and ready to be caged. If you want to buy it I can cage it before you pick it up that's no problem at all. Send me an email and I'll send you some photos of it tomorrow. Brad
  2. Have a rolling r34 complete externally, carbon front guards, carbon bonnet, no front bumper. Has headlights and taillights all glass but no front screen. No running gear or brakes. Plenty of interior trims like dash and some wiring etc etc. Located in Sydney. Unregisterable wit be letting it go for less than 4k.

  4. Not a drama at all. I'll one free by then, brisby's GTsT should be rolling again.
  5. There isn't and advantage it's just the way Nissan designed the throttle arrangement. Every R34 NA RB25 I've ever seen has been that way.....
  6. RB25DE neo inlet. Pretty common.
  7. Roy is on the money. Duncan I'll have a look under your car tomorrow. I know what rates alot of the local quick GTR's are running (several of them have been over the last few months) but each car is different, there is no one size fits all.
  8. Saturday coming? Not a problem at all. No I'm to busy building everyone elses cars to do anything about my own. Latter in the year I'll have a look at running in one of the national Categories with a car I've got in mind.
  9. Are you guys still planning to bring it down and do the clutch / rear main on a hoist?
  10. I'm going to give a supplier a bit of a plug. Thor welding supplies in casula nsw came to a big rescue over the Xmas break. I've never bought from him before and I was in need of a specific filler rod / tungsten. After calling everyone I usually use the answer was no stock or closed too bad. I called Thor and despite being closed he was all to happy to open up and sell me the needed ER80S-2 and tungstens I wanted. My fiancé drove over to pick everything up and the sale was done. After some further conversation it turns out his had some trouble with a local large welding supplier and has been forced to work from home. They send Australia wide and have a massive range in stock, even some exotic filler rods and tungstens that I've never been able to get before. If guys are after consumables and welding supplies jump on the website and have a poke around Www.thorweldingsupplies.com Or give them a call 02 9822 7080. I'd be very surprised if they can't supply you with what you need.
  11. Thread needs more work photos..... S15 thats being built. Has got neat air guides and air dam for the radiator now R32 Breather tank to be fitted next week some time. DC2 integra cage now with paint and the floor done And something a little left field, thought we'd have a go at some dirt track racing and help out a new customer with his wingless 3.8L holden powered sprint car. Its first outting is saturday at Nowra speedway.
  12. Obviously the GTR can't Race in a one make series like HQ's or super cars..... It doesn't matter what the log book says though. Logbook inspections are not done to determine eligibility they are done to determine saftey aspects and accordance with the cams manual. Normally here you'll have a pre race scruit check done by one of the series scruiteneers to check actualy eligibility. Ive just done an r32 which was loged as an IPRA car to race in production. No new log book just a pre race inspection. The cars log book still says it's an IPRA car but it's doing the prod car championship this year. Like I said you can't log one as a formula ford or superkart etc that's just stupid. But what you do logbook it as has absolutely no bearing on what categories it can race in.
  13. Log books are irrelevant for categories. I can log book a GTR as anything I want( tin top categories obviously) eligibility is another matter. A sports sedan an race with IPRA or prod cars providing it meets the regulations. Log books are a CAMS insurance requirement to make sure that vehicles which are unregistered have been deemed safe by a cams inspection. The liability they face with vehicles is massive and logbooks are the only way to keep track of the vehicles safety aspect/ safety history/crash history etc etc. It has nothing to do with category requirements.
  14. Happy to offer a very healthy discount off the RRP of all the required earls gear.
  15. Earls do everything you require. If you want a quote to supply as broken down components let me know and I can work something out for you. Only going to supply top shelf quality components though not cheap crap.
  16. Donations accepted and rewarded...... Pete the HR31 is ready on the priority list for this week. We have a solution that is engineer friendly now and cheap cheap to do. R33 will come after the R32 version. I'll continue doing the baffled under car surge tanks for the R33 for the time being.
  17. Your a fool......... I recently blew my engine up and had the oil cooler plumbed up pre filter. It died a long slow death as I drove it with a bearing knock for several hours. Bearing material, engine crud, gouged crankshaft etc etc has been pumped into my oil cooler core as it chuged along. I've now pulled that engine out and being a smart person not reused the cooler on my new engine. Being a slack arse I sold the oil cooler to you. Being a tight arse you thought you'd flush it and wack it onto your car. Ask ANY one who has ever cut open a "flushed" oil cooler if it was clean and they will tell you "Not even close" Now you've spent 10-20k on a built engine and my old crid that you thought was flushed slowly but surely becomes dislodged during high pressure and flow oil traveling through the cooler. Guess where it's headed..... Maybe into your filter. Maybe the filter will be torn by the bearning material alowing more material to get through the filter...... By by engine because you were too tight to buy a cheap $100 cooler ($3-400 for a quality one) Smart man used a new oil cooler not a second hand one....
  18. I was planning to do so. Owner does really get a say in the matter, I needs a local test mule. Have you got a sacrificial GTR tank? Only one I have at the moment has a screw hole in the top.
  19. Opening back up for 2012 tomorrow. A couple of new things happening straight up. A good fabricator and mate of mine is joining us for a while to help out with the prep work and design work Also a new project is beginning. An idea that's been floating around for a while is to fabricate fuel tank extensions to actually bolt to the factory R32,r33 and r34 fuel tanks. The idea is to have internal pumps with a float type baffle plate that's entirely sealed inside the fuel tank. The extension will act as a surge tank that's self feeding being a part of the main tank. We've been racing GTR's and nissans for a long time now, everything we sell has been race proven multiple times over so these new components will be no different. Testing prior to sale is paramount. The old undercar surges were tried and tested so these will hopefully raise the bar a little higher and make things a bit more compact for the circuit guys.
  20. Are you handy with a welder and have all the tools to actually fabricate things well? The last one I did we made custom block mounts and used the RB25 engine mounts. Custom gearbox mount and modified position on the body. Relocated steering rack mounts and modified rack. Modified steering knuckle. If I did it again I'd quote to remove the clutch master and relocate it then modify the sump so the engine could come 3 inches further back. That creates even more engine mount location drama though. if your paying someone you'll easy add 2k to the cost to do it too The viability of the conversion really comes down to how much work you can do yourself, properly. Or how much money your willing to pay someone to do it for you.
  21. Good stuff. Yours is cut up ready to weld when I go back to work.
  22. If you must have a trust extension I have two customers who are having them removed from engines early this year. One is selling due to a dry sump conversion the other is going larger capacity. I believe both of them will be for sale.
  23. Alot of it falls onto the tanks desgin. The ones I've been making for years upon years now have a fairly short height. They do however have a lower chamber that's designed for the pumps to feed from and internally baffled with a float type trap door. I don't recommend running more than 2 044's from them though. I've got a GTR using a Weldon pump that actually fills it's own surge tank via a -12 hose into the main tank. The pump draws from the surge using -12. The surge draws from the main tank via -12 and has a trick pick up system that covers most of the tank floor. With the return also feeding the surge there is always fuel overflowing back to the main tank. The way we test how well a surge tank is working before selling them is to fit a clear hose between the surge tank and the main tanks return port for a track day or dyno session Put a camera on the hose and film it for a few sessions. Obviously if the tank is working properly it should always be returning fuel to the main tank through your clear hose. If the tank is not working properly or is poorly designed the fuel in the return line will either become airated or non existent if the main pumps are too demanding. Obviously there are variables like fuel consumption so they need to be tested and rated accordingly.
  24. Oh yeah I forgot you wanted it! I'm putting rego on it next week and fitting up a new intercooler & water/diesel separator. She fits a GTR perfectly with 12 wheels/tires inside and tools etc.
  25. My current tow vehicle may be forsale in the new year. 6.6L turbo diesel. 420bhp 1400nm. Has a 9 tonne load capacity, 6.2x2.5m storage area with 2.5T loader for getting cars in. Tire racks, under belly 400L E85 tank, water tank, tool boxes, work bench. 240v inverter power and mains power 6x fluro lights, internal strapping system, 5T winch, towbar. Can't go past a big ass truck so I was considering an upgrade to a V8 cummins powered truck that will carry two cars internally.
