  1. I'll eventually finish something I've been working on. Just haven't had the time in between preparing and building other peoples cars to get anything of my own done lately. John decided to keep the 180sx so that build is now back in full swing and has gone spastic, leaves little time for my own cars as we do that after hours instead.
  2. Good to see your going to get into it. Cage it up, have the safety stuff fitted and go run a muck.
  3. Wakefield, Thursday week.....
  4. No like my first add says I'm in Sydney.
  5. And it should only need headlights I believe. I have a pair but they are being kept for the R34
  6. You can come and look at it. I'm not sending it anywhere so if your local and want to see it I'll drag it out from under the house for viewing
  7. Locking the transfer is no drama, BSM did it with a solid transfer. I also did a similar thing with a machined shaft. However both cars I know ended up with front diffs sprawled all over the circuit. The speed gains were negligible. We found the only gain was in top speeds reached on the straights as exit acceleration was slightly faster. Entry and mid corner speed was actually slightly slower.
  8. I have an R32 rolling shell that I may part with. Bare interior, rolling with no running gear.
  9. Selling a whole wide body conversion and R34 felt conversion for an R32 Includes 2x front guards 1x bonnet 1x z tune type front bar 2 x side skirts 2x wide body rear quarters 1x rear bumper Guards have holes from being trial fitted Rear quarters have some very minor cracks from being moved around and storage. Other wise it's brand new never painted. Located in Sydney, inspections are welcome. Only selling as I've now built an R34 and not a 32 so this is not needed. Pick up only Asking $600
  10. His offer is not bad considering the condition.
  11. Speaking of bushes I have a box full of them on the shelf for you. And some sprongs and shocks.....
  12. You can just bypas the rear ABS circuit
  13. Done it plenty of times. Some people remove the ABS unit and just loop the lines together with T pieces. It looks tackey and isn't really neat though. The best way is to change to a 3 port master cylinder and buy bundy tube and a heap of m10x1 double flare fittings. Make one new rear line that joins into the junction on the drivers chassis rail. Make two new front lines that run out into the wheel arches and join the factory rubber lines. It's not an overly cheap excersise and typically is illegal on a street registered car that did come with ABS
  14. 200sx bushes for the rear subframe and control arm are different to GTR. Subframe bushes are actually longer Control arm inner bushes are wider and won't fit into the subframe. Outer are the same as GTR/ most Nissan chassis. Be cautious with the subframe bushes. Some brands require you to press the entire Nissan bush and outer shell from the subframe. Others (nolothane in particular) require you to cut the rubber section of the bush out and clean up the putter shell NOT removing it at all from the subframe. This is a bitch of a job that is very time consuming to do properly.
  15. It's long gone anyways. But it was a single high mount
  16. He'll spend the next 40 years scrubbing wheels for DJR to pay for the car he wrote off......
  17. Percat should have binned it coming up the mountain when 888 passed him. Would have made my day..... Someone should give Thompson a full time drive. I'd rate him as a better steerer than steve Owen.
  18. What are you using the car for?? If it's predominately a street driven car go with an ordinary single piece rotor. Under your foot your not going to notice any difference from a base model RDA to a 5000 series DBA.
  19. That'd do it everytime.
  20. The R31 in my drive way won big fella!
  21. That's a massive mis conception about supercars. The cars themselves are actually radically different depending where it was originally manufactured. The base of a monocoque chassis and RWD V8 is as far as it currently goes. Want to win have 888 build you a chassis and pay for their experience to tune it. There was teams buying componentry from 888 all week trying to find pace, if the cars were the same they'd all have the same componentry,
  22. I'm awaiting the comment about 2:08's being slow cause Sierra Sierra or cyber could probably do it in 2:06...... Waters into the wall, whoops.
  23. Why wouldn't they call it the Brock trophy... Love or hate the supercars, ford or Holden there is no disputing that Brock is an Aussie Motorsport icon.
  24. No they don't.... Have a better look at his photo. The subframe is sitting hard up against the rail. Indicates to me that the bushes are rooted and has allowed the weight of the car to sit onto the subframe instead of being supported by the bush. The subframe bushes do two jobs, they locate the frame and also support the weight of the chassis. There should be an even gap top and bottom when the factory bushes are in good condition. Bad news for you is those bushes are an arse hole to replace. We did a set last week and it was not a fun job.
  25. Jerico boxes are also very common in Comodore cup cars, 2 of those cars I maintain have jerico boxes.
