what sort of results are you wanting to see exactly?? The external proportioning valve allows quick easy bias trimming without the need to remove and refit master cylinders The only downfall is the need to run more lines and slightly complicate the system. Various weather conditions, tires, heat etc etc all have an effect on brake bias, something that you cant do anything about with an internal proportioning master cylinder Here is a few photos of one I have in my road GTR with 997 cup brembos and stock rear GTR calipers. It used to grab rears all over the place but after trimming the bias it now works okay with a 1 inch tandem master. Obviously a proper dual master pedal box is the real solution but to keep the booster this works well. If there is interest I can organise to buy semi bulk of the PBR master cylinders in 1 inch, Wilwood or preferably tilton proportioning valves, all the braided teflon line and fittings required to get it working.

I'll sell the entire engine if the car is not ready for it soon That sump has a Quaife diff center so it's not going anywhere.

Used Peterson dry sump tank 22 inches tall 8.5 inches in diameter Has a 3 segment internal baffle Large o ring seal with v band clamp 2 -16 scavenger returns ( one currently capped off) 1 -16 feed to oil pump 1 -12 breather fitting ( may have 2 breather fittings) Excellent overall condition, no dents some light marks from being used but nothing stopping it from working or being polished back to new. Peterson tanks are regarded a one of the best, the baffling system is brilliant and obviously works. Was removed from a sprint car due to the team having excess parts, I have cleaned it inside but never used it. No mounting straps but has strap locations spun into the alloy. Asking $450 firm no offers plus postage. Located in Sydney inspections welcome

R32 To R34 Front Conversion
Risking replied to Risking's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Ha heaps of interested but for the 4 odd people that asked No I won't sell the front end separate. Someone can buy it from me and sell the rear quarters themselves if they wish. -
Do you want one mike?? I have a good GTR dry sump pan with 3 -12 scavengers.

R32 To R34 Front Conversion
Risking replied to Risking's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Everything pannel wise. Bumper Front guards Bonnet Side skirts Rear bumper Rear quarters Headlights. -
I bought this body kit to mould up a Kevlar bodyshell for my r34 sports sedan but we ended up doing it a different way and this was not needed. It's a Z tune looking front end which includes bumper, bonnet, front guards, skirts, rear bar and rear quarters Has r34 non xenon headlights to go with it as well. There is a small crack in one of the quarters from the previous owner but easily repaired before paint. It's never been fitted to a car. The kit is approx 40-50mm wider than a stock gtst from what I can see. Located in sydney pick up only! I'm firm on the price if it doesn't sell I'll have it fitted to the fiancé's R32 and paint it. Not open to swaps, offers or postage $1300 firm with the headlights and all parts.

800 bucks is far not expensive for a dry sump pan. Neil you have a pretty good idea what's needed. Cut the pan off, you need a flat base that has a slight slope from each side to the center for simplicity. Cut a grove about an inch wide the entire length and weld in a channel the length of the sump which you can scavenge from. Some type of mesh over the top of the channel and it's right to go. 3 hours labour @ 110p/h plus $15-20 retail for plate and channel. 3 -12 weld on fittings @ $13.30 each and your away.

Photos of some things now up. A few people asked about the front pipes. I beleive they are 60mm inlets and a single 90mm outlet HKS Turbo and manifold etc Nismo/Excedy clutch its still like new -
Yeah I remember doing it well. GTiR is the same. I used some small cut off wheels on my die grinder. I hve a shit load of them Neil. Can sacrifice a few next time I see you. I also vote for the 9inch angle grinder which will go through the whole door skin nicely if not the whole door.

I have alot of stuff around I don't have an immediate use for so its all for sale Everything is located in sydney and in good condition unless stated otherwise. Will post some items strictly at buyers expense. Low offers will be ignored, reasonable offers may be entertained. 600 series Tilton pedal box Brand new never even fitted to a car. Its a 3 pedal, floor mounted, steel model with the optional throttle linkage Selling as I have a few of them for various cars and I can replace this at any time if/when I need one latter on. Part number is 72-680 for the pedal box and 72-790 for the linkage system No masters supplied but whoever buys it I can supply genuine tilton or girling masters for a very good price The linkages retail for $295 and the pedal box was around $760aud 6 month ago. I realise with the dollar so strong they are cheaper now so im asking $800 for the whole thing. Tiltion 6 series pedals 72-642A Tilton pedal box Same deal as above but this one is an alloy two pedal model with no throttle asking $400 brand new never used pedal box RB26/25 nismo clutch Good condition 85-90% remaining on the plate. Its a 3 button unsprung clutch plate with an EXTREME pressure plate from excedy. Currently filthy from being used but can clean it up. Not needed as I kept it to do a manual conversion but the car is now staying auto so it can go Asking $450 Nismo RB26 front pipes, X force dump pipes Used but in good condition, usual scrapes on the front pipes but no major damage. Dump pipes are good no cracking etc and had only seen 2 seasons of circuit racing (2500Km's of use roughly) Up for sale as im not planning going to go back to smallish twins and the car they were on has been sold off Asking $450 for the lot including new gaskets HKS TA45s turbo, manifold, 50mm gate Genuine HKS turbo and 50mm gate. Turbo rebuilt and brand new. Gate reconditioned and new diahpram fitted. Manifold 316 stainless was custom made, has a 3 inch dump with V band, garrett turbo bag and oil line Selling as going back to big twins, perfect condition Asking $1800 Undercar surge tank for skyline/silvia Surge tank designed to be fitted under the drivers rear floor pan of any model skyline. Requires hicas removal. Basicly I fabricated this tank about 3 weeks ago for a mate who no longer has his gtr, since he never paid for it it's being posted back to me this week ( long story but the car had been damaged) - 3 fittings on the tank they are -6 male for inlet from lift pump, return from rail and overflow back to main tank - 2 fittings for pump feeds, -10 male - 2 welded on 044 mounts - all assosiated fragola push together fittings to mount the 2 pumps and get in and out of the tank. So 3 -6 push on straight fittings, 2 -10 couplings, 2 044 inlet fittings. - tank has an internal scavenging section for the pumps to draw from which is roughly 1.5L and the upper section is about 2L which is foam filled. - has welded on lug mounts so requires some simple brackets to hold it in place under the car. - designed to use twin 044's can block off one feed though I tested it to 120psi with water and comp air built from quality alloy plate 4mm thickness. I'm going to ask $890 including postage with all the fittings ready to install.

Thanks Charles. You really do have to see it to appreciate all the time that went into it. The photos sort of show the way it fits but in the flesh you can really see the way it sits in the car. I don't think there is even a gap between the front legs and the sill pannels the hoop and intrusion to the b pillar is the same.

Good to hear your happy with it Neil! Did those straps fit the Peterson tank okay?

Selling this as I have deceided I'm going back to high mount twins. Turbo is a HKS TA45s. Comp housing is mirror polished and turbo has not been used since a full rebuild. V band rear housing. Has a Garrett turbo Bennie. Perfect condition as new really! Manifold is a custom made 316 stainless job. Has bracing and a decent 8mm head flange. Wastergate pipe etc all done fits well and is in resonable condition Wastegate is a genuine 50mm HKS gate and has been pulled down cleaned, inspected and re assembled. Tested fine and has a 1.2bar spring installed. Dump pipe is V banded to the turbo and has a quality clamp with it. 3 inch mandrel bent TIG welded and fits to any off the shelf cat back system screamer pipe is there and vents out beside the gear box. Has a braided oil feed line but no return. Think I have a flange but no pipe. Overall it all works and the turbo is new. I'll get photos tomorrow when I take it off the shelf. Only selling due to new engine is almost finished and I want more grunt than this will allow so may as well sell it asking $1800 plus any postage charges etc located in Sydney pm or email [email protected] brad

Here you go Neil.... Ill bring it around tomorrow afternoon but these should do you for now. This cage was a good one to do but a decent challenge. Have a good look at how close the front leg, intrusion and drop bar come to the sill pannel, They are welded to the sill. And everything is 360 degree TIG welded no exceptions. I actually modified the B pillars slightly to fit the hoop exactly how I wanted it to go. Its the closest fitting hoop you could do really and took a few mock ups to get right. Even the roof which is a full X took a long time to get right, not to mention the little support bars and the windscreen support bar. Front legs were mocked up a few times and post bent a little to get right as well. The lower harness bar is a nice addition, as too are the little timing beacon mounts welded to the hoop. All in all I hope Neil is happy with it, its alot of cage for the money. There is roughly 45 hours in this cage alone. I know it doesnt look like much but the work involved is really something you have to see to appreciate, the same cage could be done in half the time with a lousy fit around the pillars and hoop, X intrusions and less roof work. People bitch about cage work pricing but like I said a generous 45 hours (probably 50 hours with planning and stuffing around on the lathe for harness lugs) at $90 an hour plus the tube, TIG filler, hole saws, Argon, linishing wheels etc etc the price for this cage quickly approaches the 5 grand mark. And for interest sakes it went on the corner weights to reveal the cage weighs in at 52.5Kg completed. Neil you know the before weight so work out the total.
