  1. Do we want to organist a motorsport group buy perhaps?? I rekon it's a waste of time in the normal gb section??
  2. Move to Melbourne with it old mate !! Actually na don't do something like that one GTR is seriously enough.
  3. It's not a bad price for a heated screen, I did look locally and nothing comes close.
  4. Aleks you should have received a PM. Thats the S13 half bolt in cage with two optional rear leg supports. Its worth mentioning these cages are a direct fit there is no need to cut them or join anything. However they do require a plate to be welded onto the floor pan ontop of the rear seat step for the hoop to be bolted to. The plates have M8 captive nuts welded to them and provide a very good base for the hoop as opposed to bolting through the thin sheet metal floor pan. Its not just a cage strength thing but also does alot more for the chassis when bolted to a plate thats welded to a decent part of the original vehicle. The rear legs require 3 holes to be drilled. The other major advantage these cages have is latter on its very easy to convert them to a full cage and weld it to the chassis without having to replace what you have already due to poor "bolt in" fitment or clamp together designs. The rear halves are almost identical to the full cage kits besides slight mounting points around the B pillar and rear legs, nothing thats too drastic to work around. The R32 cage I have currently can retain the roof lining trim the S13 requires removal. All rear trims need to be removed to fit any of the cages I build. A few people decide to cut the trims and fit them back in. Early this year ill be paying the SAU traders fee and be advertising them, currently I dont go looking for people I only take on the jobs that come to me.

  7. Neil that tank owes me $470 so you can have it for that if it's what you want.
  8. Neil here is all the info you should need regarding a heated screen. Quoted from a few emails, im sure if you give Del a call and speak directly with him about getting an R33 screen or two he'll be more than helpful. if you fail to get in contact with him via the contacts there ill pass on his other details.
  9. Are you guys removing all the factory side intrusion from the doors or leaving it in?? I know we took 38kg out of my old GTR by cutting that out of the doors. You will add about 40kg with a complete dry sump, pump, and oil are the heavy parts. alloy tanks are light and if you use prolite hose there is bugger all weight added there. It lightens your wallet too if you use prolite hose!
  10. I'd expect it to go under 1400kg easily. Has anyone actually weighed a properly built race GTs-t? Know exactly what a GTR should weigh in at but I'd think 1400kg is too much. The cage Neil has in mind shits all over 90% of the cages doing the rounds but will Be somewhere between 45-65kg a typicalbolt in job is roughly 12-18kg and a weld in full cage 30-55kg typically in CDS. I rekon a GTS-t could get down to 1200kg if not less with the right parts.
  11. Spring rates! Meh just run 12/10 that should be great according to the monkeys around the place who know everything! I could sell the info to the interested people though not that it's really that hard to work out what works anyways.
  12. Possibly sooner, I have an r31 which is causing me all sorts of grief currently, nothing simple and is consuming more hours than I care to add up! I'll have a good idea by Friday if I can take it earlier.
  13. When will it be movable again?
  14. Just did. Stupid new pm system

  16. Oh and to answer your question you start and never stop!!
  17. Yep Peterson tanks have all the good bits, 3 segments inside the top entry and spiral plates, a middle section with mor spirals and baffles then the bottom section which ita drawn from. I've had a tank spun up preveiously and replicated the Peterson baffle/ divider but the ammount of stuffing around and spinning cost it is easier to buy one! The inner turret idea has been done before to a few prod cars doing the rounds. And a few other category cars which don't allow fire wall bars. It's pretty nessisary on any circuit serious nissan, the front ends suck badly. I do have an over hung tilton box you could utilise Neil you just need to keep the pivot points of the pedals within 75mm of original if my memory serves me right?
  18. It's collecting for future use

  20. Dry sump all the way. I have everything you need in the shelves. I make my own crank pulley snouts, I've just finished big pete's one for a Ross balancer. I have a brand new Peterson tank if your after one. Or actually I have 4 of then. Also have pumps, etc etc.
  21. You can't be racing next year Boz, how can Bruce sell the cars, buy two better ones and get them prepared in a couple of months
  22. or just put them in a taxi and see if they get close to 1:01 with 2 days worth of testing and old rubber. Boz I got your text, missed your call, been trying to get in contact with him but each time one or the other has been busy. Will happen soon enough. I'll call you wednesday anyways will arrange something by then. Snooze you loose as they say.
  23. Cage I know nothing about doing no cage
  24. In saying that the cage is well made and as safe as any really. But if you do want to log book it in anyway be prepared to have trouble with those few things.
