  1. Contact Benm. He has a really nice R32 GTR stainless system his selling for a good price
  2. I haven't seen Pelicans new upper arms yet but I have heard the're interesting. I have the front of my white car sorted out now. Now the old 380 18inch slicks are a "loose" fit. Ill be doing something similar with the rear Duncan. Problem I have is I can fit bigger rims on the front than the rear atm. We also spent a day on the dyno yesterday with the Grey GTR, (Massive thanks to Guilt toy for lining up the borrowing of an AWD dyno) The dry sump worked perfectly, engine is very strong and laughed at 1.3 bar. Its first outting will be oran park next week, just need to finish off the radiator and header tank system. Drain the oil tank a little bit and put the slicks back on.
  3. Studs are worth while, main studs as well. Ive also had blocks with little cracks across water galleries, My machinist said it was more than likely from the studs bottoming out so now we also cut them down, loctite them in the day before assembly and liquid paper mark before tightening down.
  4. It saved me so much work!! I didnt own the car when he was stripping it out I bought it after he finished! We did do the Grey GTR but its still not finished 3 years latter
  5. Dry ice is over rated. I left my race car at Benm's place for a few years and he did all the hard work for me! Speaking of which We repaired the firewall and so forth today and added some much lighter pannels. So now its cage time Duncan! Duncan Jess was actually floating around where the passengers seat used to be for the first drive. Also had another wrap around the block in the Grey car when Charlie dropped past. Cant wait to get it back out this month.
  6. Anyone else found heat treatments to be a bit slow?? I used Cryotuff for my engine this time and the turn around was alot better. Perhaps being a new customer.
  7. Your right about Super TT duncan. The mini events are awesome fun, I won a round earlier this year too. Budgets do vary massivly as well. Particularly when your moving a club car into a competative car. As ive decided its easier/faster/cheaper to build a new car from the ground up and re-use parts
  8. Sorry Jay but once the brakes were done and the wheels were on the ground I had to drive it. Ill take it for another wrap tommorrow, or you can since it is technically your car now.
  9. SO have you driven one of yours yet guys?? Mine had a day out of the garage today, goes very well.
  10. Charlie did you separate??
  11. I got enough GTR's here to keep me occupied for a while dont you worry.
  12. I have exactly what your after. From memory one trim has a slight lift where the vinil meets but the others perfect. Ill check tomorrow but Pm an offer if your interested
  13. Doesnt matter if its push/pull Jay. Ive got all the parts to convert it should you buy the box.
  14. Just unplug the module and try it with no ABS next time.
  15. Few more things to add.... Apexi pod filters for a GTR. Matching pair with Cast alloy adaptors filters in good condition $250 Nissan short shifter Never used $100 Cusco Rear strut brace for R32 $150
  16. Duncan mark decided that the Speed input was needed for diagnosis latter on down the track. I dont have the diagram infront of me atm but from memory pin 7 is the tacho signal correct?? The check connector coming from that is not needed. Pin 1 should be the output to the ignitor for cylinder 1 and on the output side if the ignitor should be the timing light loop. You are correct all those pins should be grounded and you'll find that the all join up inside the loom and ground to one point at the front of the plenum. Two points actually. The ECU and other control modules always drop relays to ground once you get your head around the negative triggers its all simple stuff. Same as the Attessa, its not hard just need to follow the wiring diagram. Like I said to Mark if you cross out each wire on the paper as you move/shorten/remove it that way your always left with a loom thats only got what you need and your always sure everything will work. Im starting on the white car hopefully over the long weekend. Think ill take even more out of it this time.
  17. Duncan whats the 2nd cage for?? Or do I already know? Ill bring one of the cars up to drive around and around marks yard. Should have some time to bring up the wanna be glass for you too.
  18. Yes I have the entire Hicas rack and the factory brake lines PM me an offer.
  19. Sorry Brad you did get them, I just forgot to press the send button!! Sorry no top end stuff. I have all the rear trim but your better off coming here and looking at it first. That way there is no discretion as to perfect condition. I do have an imaculate condition White bonnet. Pm me with an offer ( I know what its worth and will only sell if the price is right)
  20. Ill get you a few photos duncan. Yep Chris, I went to bens place for a few minor bits and it was easier to bring the entire car home with me. It will be an updated version of my current car with more coin thrown at it. Im doing a cage similar to duncan and marks but a bit more comprehensive and another Dry sump etc etc etc.
  21. Its missing the vital dry sump gear still guys!! next open day your coming out for a steer duncan.
  22. No im not wrecking it wrecking it, im partially wrecking it. The body is perfect and staying that way. Sorry no original GTR wheels.
  23. The old girls up and running Duncan. Finish the brakes and wheel allignment and its ready for an outting. Time to begin on the new car now.
  24. The exhaust is a really nice looking piece of gear. Someone should grab it for that price!
  25. Few other parts now sold. Bonnet catch Fuel tank straps MAF sensors Still loads of stuff to be sold off.
