I would assume(Going on the knowledge of the engines we have at work) That it being a diesel would have a much thicker block to cope with the greater compression ratio and heat produced.. I imagine that would help with boring it out to a greater capacity...
I was unaware of this - I thought it was just on the track that they didn't like you using water cooling... wouldn't think it would matter on the street...
Thats exactly what I was gunna say - mine does that but only on cold mornings.. so you living in tasmania would probably be the cause, damn cold weather... wouldn't worry about it dude..
Yeh - Its same with oil catch tanks that vent to the atmosphere without a filter - Same sorta thing as not running a cat in your exhaust i spose - or even having a screamer pipe..
I think with carbon fibre bonnets they have to be ADR approved - was reading it somewhere else - I don't think anyone has tested one yet...
I didn't think an external wastegate was a BOV?? External Wastegate is on the exhaust manifold... BOV on the intake.. I assume they said you also need a cat(If unleaded..)
Good info tho
I dunno about buying second hand radiators eh... bag of trouble.. getting your old one redone is ok.
Cost $750 for a complete new one for my R32
EDIT* Including removal and installation and coolant, new thermostat as well.
I'm pretty sure the law states somewhere that if your not overtaking - you gotta stay in the left hand lane.. same with all the road signs saying drive safe - stay left... It just isn't enforced in this country...
I'm not sure if they make a huge difference - but i'd imagine they'd do a little - just don't get a cheap one as I have seen some that you can actually move when they are bolted down - which would defeat the purpose of having them there...
