what year is the GTR? Depending on the year, there are two types of steering wheels which may fit.

Adam I used the sizes below. This seemed to be as close to the real sizing as possible. Front: brembo wording is 8sm long by 1cm high Logo: 2cm wide Rear: Brembo wording 5.5cm long by 0.6cm high Logo: 1.4cm wide. Hope this helps.

Alot of people get the vinyl stickers made and once you spray the calipers, stick on the decals and then spray clear on top. That stops the decal from peeling off in the heat.

Thanks Jack, i pretty much made my decision after you said this size combo would fit. No rubbing as yet with 275's but i doubt i will be able to fit any wider tyres.

Na they are RB31's wheels he was selling. Im pretty happy with the way they look. Wasnt too sure how they would look against the silver.

Yeah thanks, really happy with the way they sit. It took me a while to find the twin exhaust. I think its a HKS system. Almost identicle to the Apexi unit.

hi guys, bit of an old post but ive just sold my wheels and am looking for a new set. Ive come across a set of 19x10.5 +22 volks which im tempted in getting. Any thoughts on 19's on a R33 GTR? Also the offset seems a bit higher than what most people run but it looks like the wheels fill the guards nicely.

Hi Guys, chasing a set of wheels for the r33 gtr. was keen on GT-C's or the usual TE37. Let me know if you have any of the above or similar.

unfortunately if you want to retain the airbag then you will either need to get the current steering wheel retrimmed or buy another one exactly the same. A series 2 and R34 wheel wont work with the airbags as they use different plugs. Like you suggested, an aftermarket wheel is illegal but if your not fussed, then you can get a nice momo wheel etc. Just make sure you get the correct boss kit. (the one for airbag models)

Hi Guys, I have a set of BBS LM 18x9 20 offset which im thinking of selling. Front tyres are Toyo T1r's which have approx 40-50% tread and the rears are Nexen 3000 with approx 60-70% left. All tyres are 265/35/18. These wheels will clear Brembo calipers and fir on any GTR. Ive been told these font fit on a GTST unless the guards have been rolled/flared etc. Rims have a bit of gutter rash as you can see from the pics and the dish are slightly deoxidized. The gutter rash isnt major but if your fussy, ive been quoted $400 from Coburg wheel polishing to fix and re-polish all 4 wheels. Melbourne pick up only unless interstate buyers are willing to organize to get these wheels collected. Rear wheel Rear tyre Front wheel with gutter rash Front Tyre Im after $2500 for the set. Price is firm as as im not in a rush to sell so please no offers.

Hi VSPECT, I think regardless of the issue, i tend to agree with most that it would be very difficult in getting the workshop to claim responsibility. (unless there was a clear case of neglect) Id hate to be a tuner as generally they have a pretty hard job. (This is definately one of those cases). One thing which might come back to bite your friend is the fact that he installed the parts himself. (I assume he is not a qualified machanic). Also a bigger turbo, cams and fuel pump were installed without upgrading injectors or ecu which could have also caused problems. Its never nice when a engine goes but hope your mate gets it back up and running.
