  1. Greetings all I haven't been on in a while.. I'd like to thank the literally 100s of SAU members that have purchased and sprea the word about our little manual boost controller. It was featured in a thread about 5 years ago and it continues to create discussion.. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/go...ntr-t73375.html Many of you have wanted to know when I would bring out a dual stage and I am happy top announce that version one is ready to. This model enables the driver to toggle between standard and an adjustable high boost at the flip of a switch. Standard boost on this model is not adjustable without a manual controller, only high boost is adjustable. Our website is under construction so right now theyt are listed on ebay for $119 plus $8.50 registered post.. Discount to SAU means only $95 plus $8.50 post = $103.50 total Either purchase on ebay and get the discount or email direct at [email protected] for payment details. many thanks for your support.. Mark Williams

  3. Hi Alex I have sent you an email as well. Dont be too concerned about not having a hole drilled in the unit. The main advantage of the vent hole is not realised until quite high boost. At low to moderate boost it wont make much difference that you will notice. Im not sure I have even heard of your car model before..! As long as the hose barb at right angle to teh controller goes to wastegate and the other to teh compressor thenm it shuld be fine if you have no solenoid in the mix. With all of the fiddling with it it is possible that the spring may have gottenm jammed somehow. Take the controller right out and remove the bolt (careful that the spring and ball does not fall away.) make sure the spring is loose and not stuck. Then putthe controller back together. To get it back to rougghly your cars stock, simply adjust the bolt in small amounts while blowing through the adjacent hose barb until you can only JUST blow through past the ball, lock the nut and reinstall... 4. Hi mrgilly, Boost spike with a gated controller such as the Turbotech is unlikely to be caused by the controller in itself. keep in mind that there are many factors relating to the usage of boost and it differs from car to car. Boost spike most definately will not be cause by a ball bearing not seating nicely. In fact, if the ball is not seating tightly it will be hard to get high boost levels as it wont hold back the pressure very well. Boost spiking tends to be related to other car components and it is exaggerated differently between different controllers. advice that I have been given is that spike is very often related to modifications done willy nilly without expert computer and dyno assistance in the planning.
  5. Hi Guys Re: TURBOTECH I packed up the computer for what was only supposed to be a few days for renovations that turned into nearly two weeks!! Everything was packed into one storage area. They are back on ebay and or can be ordered direct for $35 delivered. If you are wanting the SAU discount please dont purchase one from the ebay listing and then ask for a discount as those listing charge a hefty listing fee. A few people have attacked me on this forum regarding not returning emails or other delays. A few points to consider: I work full time I have family commitments I have to make all these controllers I have to keep up with dozens and dozens of emails. I only respond to emails out of nessecity for time reasons. Every morning there are about a dozen emails and when I get home it has often tripled. It is like a runaway train that is hard to stop. If I have, for instance, a delay from a suplier it can often delay mail outs.. I really only keep making them as you guys keep wanting them and believe me at the price I do it for ($35 delivered) and the cost involved (parts and time) the hours spent reading emails and making the controllers it is not exactly a super profit exercise. So its hard to take when numbskulls use this forum to attack my service when they should go to thier rooms and have a good cry instead of on here. I do it really for the pleasure of knowing I can google my own product and know that they are now in over 2500 cars!! Thats inspiration in itself not the few cents I make on them. So to those boof heads that have a sook about not getting 7 emails at every stage of manufacturing the controller- you can eat my shorts and live a day in my shows while I piss myself laughing at you going crazy! Pehaps we should start a thread for whingers And, to those who are patient and reasonable... I hope you love the buzz you get when boosting with a turbotech! Cheers Mark [email protected]
  6. HI, Mark here... It's worth mentioning that sometimes when I get an email requesting details for purchase, my responses just bounce back repeatedly and there is nothing I can do... And then a couple of times that guy has left a message on this forum about getting no response... Also just a reminder that I 'rarely' check pm's so if you send me one and get no response..then you why...and I see i have a stack of them... I work out of town too so sometimes I can get a bit behind qwith emails and post outs... Also, sometimes my part supplier can be unable to get an essential part and there can be delays..especially with springs and the one I use can't be substituted without making a crap controller...Whatever the delay if there is one is usually for a good reason and not just coz I'm slack.. Im actually as busy as twins Cheers Mark [email protected]
  7. HI everyone, Mark from Turbotech... As a few of you have noted I have been hard to contact lately... A few of you know the reason but most don't... Not only do I work full time I have had serious health issues with my unborn child and as such had been spending vast amounts of time in Melbourne as well as doing my job and trying to do what I can with the Turbotech.. On many occasions I have arrived home at midnight or later and had to take care of emails and such and at these times I have responded only to emails that needed a response...and posting was often delayed as well..... All seems to be on the mend now and business is as usual... I still make the high quality original controller... I hear some speak of the JRD and it's quality. I cant say exactly, however, it appears that they have purchased one of mine and then set about making it themselves for a few extra dollars... what an honourable way to make a few bucks... at least ebay sales have not slowed at all. Might I remind readers that this forum discussion relates to the Turbotech and no other. As most buyers can attest to, I take particular care to make each controller to a very high standard and back up with after sales also.... as those who have lost spring, bolts, ball etc can bear witness to this. I also send items via trackable express at no extra cost. My apologies for my recent low profile and thanks to those loyal to myself and my product. Due to magazine editors following this product's success... it has appeared in 'Drift Battle" and will soon be in 'Fast Fours' as well.. It's reputaion is largely due to the positive discussion in this forum and for that I thank everyone who have contributed their support. Many regards, Mark [email protected] for sales and service.
  8. Hi Guys, Mark here, I would like to apologise for recent delays in responding to emails and posting controllers. Firstly, we have had some serious ADSL issues. Sometimes it's out for 2-3 days then comes back on then goes again. This has caused delays as it is hard to get your emails with postal addresses and so on... Also, a recent expres post mailout consisting of 5 controllers has hit a snag. It would seem that ALL five have gone missing with no clear explanation available from Aus post. These have since been resent. NB: express is used not really for speed but for some level of security such as the tracking facility which comes in handy often. Our ADSL is now sorted and things are getting smoothed out. And secondly, I have had some other serious issues to attend to lately regarding family which has compounded the problem. My wife is pregnant with our first and we had a nasty scare but things are great now I even got so sidetracked that I sent out a bunch with instructions!!! Anyway thanks a heap for your continued support Cheers Mark Anyway, thanks for your Things are ok now and runnning as they were so once again I apologise for recent delays...
  9. Hello all, good to see all the discussion about the Turbotech.. And I especially get a buzz out of seeing my little design installed under the bonnet so keep the pics coming its great !!! A few people have had difficulty reaching me lately as I had to go out of town for a few days for a family illness thing but all has returned to normal now.. Cheers Mark
  10. Hi Guys, I believe I have caught up with everyone's emails. One of you guys mentioned on the last page that boost was dropping off at top end.. If you experience this then it is unlikely to be the controller but something else. Evidence of it being something else builds when you try one or two controllers which give a problem and then the turbotech as well. Although different controllers might 'seem' to present a diffent problem, it is more likely that different controllers exaserbate 'your' cars's problem differently. Maybe leaky or tired turbo, loose clamps, brittle or cracked hoses etc... Well, i better go make some more controllers for all the SAU orders that have come in the last two days... Cheers Mark
  11. Hi Guys, Mark here, Its always awseome to hear of the perormance gains from the turbotech. It really is amazing to hear people talk so much about something I made so thanks fo the buzz I heard a few people have had trouble making contact. As far as I know I have caught up with everyone now. Three times in the last 10 days I have not been able to 'reply' to emails although I can receive them ok. Thsis is very frustrating as people are trying to reach me and there is nothing I can do. Our ADSL is working well now so I hope it continues to. Let me just clear up how I do the sales: Emails: Once I get an inquiry I send a response and ref number with banking details. Then, the buyer needs to email me their address once the deposit is made i don't normally send another email unless there is a problem or I am asked another question. Deposits: I check twice daily for deposits to match up to reference numbers and addresses. Keep in mind that deposits, depending on which bank you use, can be instant or can take up to 3 days. If making a deposit on a sat or sun it usually wont clear into our account until tuesday or wednesday. Posting: Once the deposit is matched to the ref number and I have received an address then it usually goes out the same day or the next by express. Sometimes thougfh I have had trouble getting a component of the controller in and there can be couple of days delay but this happens not very often. Note 1: Express doesn't always eman overnight. Not everyone lives in the overnight zone even though they may think that they do. Speed is not the main reason I use express, it is mainly because it is trackable as sometimes they go missing and I can use teh tracking number to find out what happenned to it. Note 2: 'reference numbers'. Sometimes people dont use theeference number that I provide when depsositing. This will always cause a major delay as it is impossible to know who made the payment. keep in mind that I dont look for pm's much so email is the way to go [email protected] Cheers all and thanks for your patience. I will make an effort to be in the forum a lot more. Mark
  12. Hi Busky, the amount of guys that have purchased my turbotech to replace GFB's is ridiculous. GFB's are bleeders and although they can alter boost, they can't control it as they are not gated. You try so hard to get boost, why the hell would you want to bleed it off!! They are just a gadget designed by people who dont really understand boost. Being a gated controller, spike is minimal as noted so many times in previous threads. Some experience a little bit while others experience no spike at all. Also, I apologise for lack of input in the thread lately Iv'e been damn flat out. Mark Williams Turbotech [email protected]
  13. Guys, I hope the Turbotech is creating some fun especiall on these wet roads :Pimp2: Remeber, all correspondance to mark at [email protected] as I don't often check pm's on this forum. Cheers all Mark
  14. Hi Guys, Thanks for all the feedback so far and help you give others as I know stuff all about skylines, other than I want one. I use your valuable comments to improve the controller regularly.. Thanks again, Mark
  15. Hi Guys, I am just starting a new thread about this controller as it is getting hard to find the old one now. I am still offering the 'brass and stainless steel' Turbotech at a discount to skyliners at $35 delivered which includes express delivery. For those who haven't read the reviews the old thread can be viewed at http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/fo...75&page=1&pp=25 The thread contains 12 pages of reviews and even some installation tips and pictures. I have sold over 400 of these gems now, many of which have gone across the world. Over 100 SAU members now have them installed and over 300 sold through other avenues. I also sell them on ebay with 100% positive feedback which can be viewed at http://feedback.ebay.com.au/ws/eBay...ame=STRK:ME:UFS For any questions or orders please email me direct at [email protected] Payment is by money order, direct deposit or paypal. A reference number will be provided for all orders and postage is by express which is inclusive of the price. Thanks, Mark Bendigo, Victoria
  16. ' 84?. You will have a mighty biggrin when you get this one Paul :devfu:
  17. Do you like jrdsports subtle way of trying to claim the turbotech is not as good as his powerup?? What he doesn't realise is that a few members have discarded the powerup and atomics and similar for the reliability of the turbotech! What a joke, 12 pages of comparisons and then he posts that to try steal business. No evidence to support those figures, no evidence that the testing was even done! I find it hard to believe the guy would buy every boost controller on the market just to test them so he can make that post. The powerup gets listed on ebay and bidding frequently ends with NO bids yet the turbotech sells 30 a week on ebay. As a matter of fact I just got an email from a guy who recently purchased a powerup dual stage thats can't even hold 14psi!! It drops right back to 9 psi!! This is his message cut and pasted right from the ebay email system: Question from travfleur Item: Turbotech manual turbo boost controller (4560217549) This message was sent while the listing was active. travfleur is a potential buyer. "Hi, I currently have a power-up dual boost controller. Ive wound it up to 14psi but my car seems to lose boost once it hits 14psi back to around 9psi. Are you saying this controller your selling will fix this problem ??" I have PM'd jrdsports about the tactic to try get some business but I doubt someone who goes to such a length just for a dollar cares much. Reviews and over 400 sales and building speaks for itself.. Thanks everyone for your support and postive comments Cheers Mark

  19. HEy Fat, Cubes has already picked up on it but pm or email me your addy again and Ill send you another barb to try. I have a feeling the one where the ball sits in may be faulty. Sometimes they have a scratch or flaw where the ball seats and it wont seal properly, letting pressure through know matter how much you tighten them. I check them all individually but its possible one may have slipped through. It should not have an issue at all with 17 psi.. [email protected] Mark
  20. HI FAT, Did you have it installed after the solenoid? If this is the case you will get symptons that you describe. It must be installed before the solenoid or bypass the solenoid altogether. The controller should suit application as high as 25 psi.. If you are running less than this then the controller will handle the pressure with joy. Cheers Mark
  21. Thanks mate, glad you like it P.S i still have a number of payments without reference nymbers that nooen is claiming ....
  22. Hi Guys, I will be offline until tuesday night in case anyone is chasing me.. Just a reminder to those who did not use a reference number when depositing for the boost controller. I still have 6 payments for which I don't know who they are from. To date, not one person has made contact about this  Cheers all Mark
  23. Have fun tommy... I take no responsibility for speeding tickets, I do however have the coroners office on speed dial :Pimp2:
  24. Hi Tommy, that small vent hole is precisely sized. Block it off it watch it spike, make it bigger feel the lag.. In other words its meant to be there Mark
