Hi I have three (3) payments for boost controllers with no reference number. If you purchased one and did not include the ref number I gave you I can not send your item as I dont know who made the payment. emailng me to say you made a payment is not enough. If this is you you must make contact with me and tell me what you did put in the reference line or if you wrote nothing, I need your bsb number. Thanks, Mark -

Hi guys, I still have two payments 30/5 and 1/6 for $28 each that I can't match to a buyer because they failed to use the reference number I gave. If you deposited on either of those days and still not received your controller please me what you wrote in as a reference or if you wrote nothing tell me your BSB number. Cheers Mark -

The diagram is a basic explanation of connecting a BOV. Skylines and other late model vehicles have complex setups. The diagram is mostly intended for basic technology turbo charged vehicles like cordias and starions and so on... While not a skyline expert, I would say if you are having a great result from the controller as is then don't mess with it..unless of course someone more knowledgable about skylines suggests something else.. Hi guys, I am giving some thought to a 2 stage but don't want to compramise on quality so it will take some thinking but I'm sure it will eventuate I hope everyone is having with there new toy, and not over boosting hehe yeah right!! I guys Thanks a heap for your interest in the turbotech boost controller. I have now received orders for 30 and have already sent out 19 of them. As all good things come to an end, the $28 price is unstainable with the cost and time involved. I will of course continue to look after skyliners with a revised cost of $35 express delivered. Which is far less than I charge on ebay. Pretty cheap for a F%^$ing great boost controller!! Thanks gain Mark p.s keep those pics scoming its a blast to see them :headspin: -

HI Guys, Message regarding payment of controllers: A number of skyliners have included the ref number I gave out and as such I have been able to correlate the deposit with the correct name and had their item already sent. However, so far two guys have not used the ref number. One has just got a BSB number and the other simply wrote 'boost controller'. In short, I don't know who made the payment so I cant send the item. Please email me at [email protected] if you are one of the guys who did not use the ref number. For all future puchasers, please ensure this ref number is used as it is impossible to work out who it is from. Cheers, Mark -

Hi Guys, Powerpuff thinks logical which is how I designed this controller plain ordinary logic. (with some knowhow thrown in) If the wastegate can creep as pressure builds, then so can the controller ball. But, is it better that the ball creeps or the wastegate? All say Ball together!! The ball may creep slightly so what 'does' get through is not sufficient to make the wastegate creep. The reason you ask? Answer: the pressure from the ball creep is evacuated OUT of the tiny bleed hole that I specifically built in to the design. That means there is NO pressure great enough to budge the wastegate UNTIL the controller slams open and the pressure rushes to the wastegate in one hit (during this time, the bleed valve is overwhelmed and is no match for the burst) The result: full boost. what you have set is what you get-no more no less After backing off the ballslams shut. Then any pressure trapped between the wastegate and the controller is evacuated out of the bleed hole (this ELIMINATES SPIKE as there is no pressure left trapped between the wastegate and controller that adds to the next burst of boost- causing the dreaded spike). This process also stops back pressure to the turbo which would try to slow down the turbo buy attempting to spin it in the wrong direction thus causing lag.. Result: Far less lag. turbotech: less spike, less lag, precise boost, no bullshit! Mark -

Hi guys, Just reminding all who are receiving this controller shortly: The controller comes pre-set at low boost, whcih which normally be slightly above whatever you are running now. I fully recommend NOT winding in the adjuster until after you have installed and tested on the road. After this, only FINE adjustments are needed to get significant increases in boost. Cheers Mark -

Hi Chris, To be honest I have limited knowledge of skylines and how they incorporate their solenoids. I believe the knowledge you require lies right here in this forum full of clever blokes. Just today a member who purchased a controller bypassed the soleniod I believe. Perhaps you could check back a page or so and read of his setup.. Cheers, Mark -

Finding the components is the easy part making them to precisley control boost is by far something else. A number of people have tried to copy without success and caused damage to engines. If I give you all the materials to build a house can you build it right??? There is always someone that likes to be a goose..... Mark -

simark87 replied to CEF11E's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Yes CEF11E is correct. It was difficult to tell by the pics but it appears that the nit is connected corerctly to the actuator but cannont clearly see if you have other barb connected to compressor side of turbo. I believe its in the way it is installed that is the problem, perhaps you have the wrong line at wrong point.. Mark -

simark87 replied to CEF11E's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
HI you got me stuffed why your having grief LOL The ball goes not in the right angle barb but the other one (the one that goes to turbo. Then put in bolt so there is atleast SOME pressure on the spring, the ball then can not possibly move up that far. WHen re assembling the controller, be sure to not have it sideway or upside down otherwise its too hard tell if the ball went where it should.. -

simark87 replied to CEF11E's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
From what I can see it looks fine. But just by looking at the bolt. It looks like you have it tightened up for MAX boost. I sent it to you on low boost which should be just slightly above what you were running. They are a very fine adjustment requiring just a 1/4 turn to make a difference of maybe a pound or so. It seems to me you have overtigtened the bolt and caused it to jam on full. Remove the bolt (while being careful that the spring and ball dont fall out) adn make sure the spring is not jammed down th ebottom. If so poke it out and drop the ball in down the bottom and drop the spring in on top. Once you replace the bolt as soon as it starts to touch the spring it is controller boost. Only slight adjustments are needed. Cheers Mark -

HI this mark, the maker of the controller. Ensure your have the barb that comes from teh controller at a right angle is the one that goes to the wastegate, the other barb goes to teh turbo. Also, if you ahve been screwing th ebolt right in you may possibly have over tighten and jammed the spring. Remove the bolt and make sur the spring is freely sitting in the controller shaft (beb sure to put the ball back where it belongs) Cheers, Mark -

Hi warren, Thanks for your interest. Tha ball is chrome so should not rust. I have responded to the gut who found some on his. Not sure why but the first anyone has said in over 200 sales. Perhaps I accidently put ina dodgy ball with a scratch who knows. Anyway still have 100% positive feedback on ebay for controllers sent all over the world. Educated initially in mechanical engineering, I now teach and make these controllers at home in my own workshop. I started making them after turbosmart would not let me distribute their controllers so I made my own and better. Did you say you have already bought one, I dont see an order here for warren? Mark -
