  3. Scooby, I have a 044 in-tank and also had a fuel issue which had us stuffed for a while. It acually ended up being the stock pickup. It has a plastic 'skeleton' which keeps its shape. Turns out it had cracked, but while you had it in your hand it didn't look like it. This caused the filter to collapse at higher RPM/load and stifle the pump.. on dyno it just looked like the pump was running out of legs. May not be your issue, but thought I'd suggest it just in case. Nismo pump should be good for some serious hp. (and yes, do the relay thing as well)
  4. And yet... you still took the fiance?
  5. It doesn't matter which way the grooves run, it matters which way the vanes run.
  6. Number plate noted and engraved in the brain. Trust me, if I see this car out on the road - it will be followed until it stops or I run out of fuel. Then we'll just see what happens..
  7. Absolutely. I reckon I could put together 5 sets with the people I know who want them pretty easily. How about it Tirerack? RE55s? (or D03g Dunlop, or Yoko 050)
  8. With the way our $ is at the moment.. why wouldn't you: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ATI-917753/
  9. Good to hear that.. Looks like I'm going to have to grind the twin-turbo badge off or replace entirely with something else. I'll give the bonnet spacers a crack too. Just a couple of washers?
  10. Also, checkout your front to rear ride height. 5-10mm difference can make quite a difference to how the car handles into corners.
  11. Bubba, found a way to get it under the bonnet yet?
  12. Mate give Steve in spare parts at Northside Nissan a call he has a couple of guys they use for this.
  13. Yokohama A050 please!
  14. Depends on which CP piston you're talking about. If its the so-called 9.0:1 CP's, then the dome is 6cc. Here's a piccy of one - is this what you have?
  15. awwww y'know.... I maybe wouldn't pick them for driving to say... Bunbury. But they're the shizzle for going round corners 'comfortably'.
  16. And... my machine is back on the road! Just fired up this weekend - still on run-in, but looking forward to getting back out there! A couple of new seats to get comfy in too.
  17. Yeah I work there from time to time.. I don't tend to do the skidpan days, I am usually taking the V8 rides, but the deal is that the RAC have an image to uphold in the public eye of course. I've been to a couple of the monthly meetings and they are all pretty good about it - but of unfortunately they get the odd member of the public ringing up asking why the RAC is promoting 'hoonlike behaviour' and so on.. so if said member of the public drives past and see's heaps of tyre smoke that what causes the issues.. Bottom line is, they don't mind you sliding around, and after all that's what the idea is, to control the car and experiment a little - but its when someone goes out time after time and loops it, then stay on the gas pretty much doing a burn-out that we have to step in and ask you to back down a notch.. That said - if anyone's going to a ride in the V8's send me a msg and let me know in case I'm on that weekend!
  18. Get yourself some silicon spray fo the gasket and the collar when you're putting it all back together. Will save you some pain.

  21. Anyone who was really serious about this stuff would insert a catheter, run and a drip and be done with it. In all seriousness I hear that some of the guys in the Dakar do actually do this! Now that my friends - is true commitment. no Port-a-loos for these guys!
  22. Still for sale. $1800. 356mm KSport 8 pot brake kit - brand new in box suit 32 GTR. ($2300 from JustJap etc)
