  1. Should be careful when checking coilpacks. the way Snozzle mentioned, may blow the coilpack driver (the box that sits at the end of the head). If you can get to the injectors, diconnect them one at a time to see which cylinder it is. Much safer option unless you know how to check the coilpacks properly. I would recommend splitfires, never failed on me once with 1.1 gapping and lots of boost.
  2. Yeah i was wondering what happened to them, went by last week to look for parts and there was nothing on site. I got lots of cheap parts from the guy.
  3. You could try and contact an ebay seller if they sell sandwich plate post seperately or wreckers.
  4. When i used splitfire coilpacks i was running .8mm or maybe a bigger gap and no misfires with 18psi. I always replaced my sparkplugs every 5000kms with copper ones. If you are running original coilpacks, i would gap a set of copper plugs down to .6mm to stop the misfire problems on high boost. Otherwise get a set of aftermarket coilpacks and stick to the iridiums since you have trouble taking out the sparkplugs.
  5. $1100 is pretty reasonable if you are getting bonnet, roof, boot and spoiler done. I have got my roof wrapped at perth graphic centre for roughly $300 in gloss black. I paid $400 to get my black roof sprayed for my skyline ages ago, with a wait of 3 days to get the car back where as you can take a few hours just for vinyl. Also vinyl will last a long time if you treat it. Im sure a lot of people will like the carbon fibre look. IMHO it doesn't look as good as gloss black.
  6. Well for me. i work as a technician and wouldnt want to dirty the seats after work and will keep it subtle against unwanted attention. If you're going to a cruise or show simply just take them off.
  7. Cheers guys. Yeung's going to pick one up on sunday. Now to put the other into my car. To make it look legal just throw over a seat cover and no one will notice there is a Bride seat underneath. =)
  8. Glad you got it all sorted out Sesar.. Got injectors and Z32 AFM in yet?
  9. Looks like a fun day. Too bad Trevor couldn't correct his skyline properly and ran over a cone. Must have too much power for you to handle =P haha.
  10. YUm! good to see my old car out and about.
  11. ^^^ yep that sounds right. 19mm deep socket should fit over them. I think most these type of wheel nuts are 19mm, havent seen the 21mm WORK wheelnuts before..
  12. was the apexi rsm installed recently? check the speedo wiring near the ecu, maybe that has a short somewhere there. i know when i installed my rsm. i forgot to tape up the speedo wire. so when i turn corners the ecu would move, making the wire ground itself to the body and the steering would go heavy.
  13. try ultraracing they make heaps of braces for all types of cars, and they certainly have heaps of braces for the skyline range. They are cheap too if you know where to source them from.
  14. Well you can put the series 2 bumper on to the series 1 front end, but it will look like this. The S1 headlights overhang the bumper.
  15. You could always splice into the ACC (blue/white wire) of your stereo so the gauge or gauge lights arent constantly on. Seems like you've spliced into the CONSTANT +ve. I suggest not to tap into the cigarette lighter as you'll keep blowing fuses once you put like a phone charger or radar detector in. Other wise if you dont use your cigaretter lighter at all by all means use it then, easy option. this is a wiring diagram for my saber gauges. might come in handy for you. not sure if the wire colours are the same, but majority of aftermarket gauges are the same. oil press red - to ignition switch 12v(+) black - battery(-) orange - to oil press sensor purple - dimmer/+12v to dim/connect to headlights to activate oil temp red, purple and black - same as above blue - temp sensor Hope this helps you out and doesnt confuse you. =)
  16. That's what i think too. You could try and hook it up to your parker lights, it should dim the gauges at night cause it might be too bright.
  17. if it vibrates through the steering wheel it could be the front wheel weights other wise the rears wheels doesn't matter if its balanced properly, cause you wont feel it a little or at all.
  18. I might come down to check it out...
  19. I used to have a big plank of wood the size of the boot with a couple "L" Shaped brackets screwed onto the wood. to hold the sub in, stops the sub moving around. Otherwise you could get straps to hold the sub down....
  20. Wow never knew there were so many V Series around. Seems like a good turn out.
  21. That looks awesome... wish my wheels would sit like that....
  22. Sure is. You could try tech9tyres or Evo R. Never had it done but heard they do it, and now sure what it cost each corner.
  23. Maybe a GT3076R, 044 Fuel Pump, Standard or Aftermarket ECU to get 350hp?
  24. oh that sucks Andrew. good luck with the pits....
  25. So it isn't possible to adjust the stock arms slightly? I need slight camber to stop my rear wheels chopping up or scraping.
