You're LUCKY! i'd rather have the water pump blow rather than the idler pulley bolt snap off resulting in bent valves and maybe other damage...... Good luck with your repairs....

Yeah that happened to me too execpt on 6th cylinder. I checked injectors and coilpack wiring and changed my ignition module, and the car runs perfectly now. Goodluck on getting it running right.

Maybe ignition module, sits on top of the coilpack cover.

Thats just gross to hear. Its possible, but depends how deep the dent is. You might have to take out the headlining to push the dent out. Friends 33 had a dent on the roof was half the size of a hand, and he managed to push it out, bog it and sand it down. Looks smooth. Goodluck on the repairs though.

Anyway. Well i borrowed another one off a friend. Resistance reads from 4-7M ohms for each pinout. Will have to try it on the car tomorrow.

Does anyone know what resistance value is for the ignition module pins? I well i got roughly 8-9M Ohms on E1, E2, E3, E4 and E6 but on E5 i got 1M Ohms Is that supposed to be like that? Cause No.6 cylinder is not running when idle or at low loads. When at high loads it picks up and runs normally. Just suspecting my ignition module is playing up. Regards. Vincent.

hmmm my car recently started doing this. How did you fix yours? I have changed sparkplugs, and have splitfire coilpacks in. Thinking its the ignition module, except what are the symptoms of the ignition module stuffing up? My car hesitates heap from stop start, turning corners and giving it gas, but after the revs picks up it goes fine. A/F ratio reads 20:1 when cruising, giving it some gas the A/F ratio goes to 14.7:1. Can it also be AFM?

So is this happening this weekend or next weekend?

LOL! yeah... cars been off the road as i blew a headgasket. now im having trouble sourcing a gasket set as theres no VRS in AUS... So waiting for nissan to get it for me. Since the heads off. Been fixing up other things on the car. But hopefully i can get it out within 2 weeks time. Otherwise maybe i can hitch a ride with you Andrew...

Well since my car is apart i thought i might as well change all my coolant hoses. But one problem, where do i get them from? Any places besides nissan.? Has anyone replaced them yet? Its an R33 GTST by the way. Its unfair how there are coolant hose kits for GTRs only. Cheers Vincent.

Has anyone fitted this kit (ARP 202-4208) into their RB25 before Been looking on the ARP site but i cant seem to find the part number on the catalogue But in CMP they have it. Heres a site http://www.chrismillsperformance.com/index...30&vmcchk=1 In the picture it shows the head studs and what i think it is manifold studs Replacing my headgasket so im wanting to get head studs, also snapping a few exhaust manifold bolts in the process. So maybe this is an ideal kit?

Does the parker lights work? Well last time my dash lights didnt work i took out the instrument cluster and found a loose wire which happened to be connected to my dimmer light switch. Maybe you could check that?
