  1. spoke with Doug @ NPC, he recommended the 10" organic like everyone else has, i assume its the same carbotic plate and will hold 300rwkw comfortably. Thanks guys!

  3. in tokyo, in shibuya or shinjuku haven't decided in osaka yet. will do 1 night near ebisu circuit but havent looked at accommodation yet. got 3 weeks to kill GTofuS-T that's great, will add that to the list.

  5. Used Competition clutch in my evo, no good. lasted 13 months with less than 15000Km, the pressure plate cracked in 2 places that hold the thrust bearing in. Google this issue as it happened to a few evo owners on evooz did 1 wet pan day, rest was daily driving. alot of shuddering and hill starts are a PIA. may be different in RWD configuration tho.

  7. are there any near by these areas or accessible within 30 mins outside centre? I will have a car to drive to Ebisu but the other places will just be by public transport, walking or bicycle. any suggestions/recommendations of tuning houses and places to visit? current list is Tsukuba & ebisu circuits, toyota museum, super auto bacs & up garages, plus a few more i cant think off th top of my head. Will there be any car shows/events between mid October to early November? Do they still hold car meets at that famous place off the wangan in the large parking lots? if so where is this place. any input would be greatly appreciated.
  8. does anyone know if I (a tourist) can visit their local post office and send items internationally? rather than pay hefty airline baggage fees, i am thinking of sending stuff back in a big box. Cheers
  9. heading in November my list is super auto bacs & up garage, tsukuba circuit (i checked the events on at the time and nothing interesting unfortunately) and ebisu circuit for some local drift days, and probably visit the zoo as well lol also the toyota museum

  11. spewing, i could've made the japan F1 but it didn't occur to think about when it was on when i booked my Japan trip, so i booked it 2wks after F1.
  12. after an internal gate turbo to support 250-280rwkw and to fit in low mount position and standard dump flange GT30XXR range hypergear 21U or OP6 hiflows etc etc show me what you got. seeing whats on second hand market before i get mine hiflowed by Hypergear. prefer syd seller so I can see the condition but will consider interstate if detailed photos can be provided.   14. i got a set off 16" dunno if it suits what you need. the super advan writing has faded off the surround plate one centre is missing the gold circle super advan disk (far right in your second picture)
  15. i am writing off the turbosmart bleeder as crap, no issues with the turboXS. I even tried with my mates spare turbosmart bleeder with exact same issues. However i will tap a nipple into the cold pipe as that is best place to get the pressure source from. 7psi never felt so fun.

  17. So I replaced the turbosmart bleeder with a turbo xs one, 7psi sweet, 9psi sweet. Will try 10psi like how turbosmart was and go from there. So far so good. Same issue as this chap on r31 forums http://forum.r31skylineclub.com/?topic=31879.0

  20. Will take it apart and have a look. Upon closer look, the top hose on the factory solonoid is still connected to the metal pipe plumbed back into intake pipe. Should this be removed and blocked?
  21. got a bit of a weird problem, at first i thought it was coilpacks going on me due to misfire but it seems to be flat spot rather than misfire as i checked coilpacks (splitfires) and changes to new bcpr8e plugs randomly when i give it, it would hit 9/10psi and in next gear it would only hit 5 or so psi. using a turbosmart bleed valve with factory turbo. can anyone suggest what may be the issue? i've been away from turbo cars for too long so i've checked the most basic things but then its beyond knowledge to further diagnose. photo below of how the boost tee is setup, is this correct? it came with the car this way, i've only turned the boost turn as it was running 15psi before. i've read the DIY thread but it seems the guys are getting the pressure source from the cooler pipe after the throttle body with the factory piping, mine doesn't have that Note: the other line (that doesn't go to wastegate) is connected to the pressure source from the plenum, not throttle body. bottom hose of factory solonoid has been removed, its probably something simple/silly that i just can't see
