  1. Interested in pics mate
  2. There's a bit more information about that beached subaru here,
  3. Is it just the plain key with black plastic head? Doesn't have transponders or a remote in it?
  4. I ran 14psi for a year then mine let go...
  5. Also interested in price. Also info on interior etc.
  6. I bought a long socket in the right size then put a hole in the side of it with a dremel for the plug to fit through... worked well
  7. Try 25050-02U00 for manual or 25050-03U00 for auto.
  8. Dammit now i wish mine wasn't up on stands and i lived near a decent road!
  9. I'll be up for a couple of small ones posted.
  10. Isn't the rule on most strips that if you even get a hint of a loose ass end and don't back off you get in a fair bit of trouble?
  11. Thanks for that. I'll keep it in mind in a couple of weeks when i have to make a decision.
  12. Yeah i think it just depends on who you get really, luck of the draw!
  13. Yeah you did a couple for me in canberra. The last one you did was to suit gtr injectors and was a great tune. Still gtr injectors, but i now have a z32 afm to put in one weekend. As for the tuner, it's not that he can't tune a nistune, its more that he's never done one before but he's done multiple vipecs. I'm sure if i turned up with a nistune he could tune it, he's built tuned many respectable cars (including his own which was featured in the latest series of blood sweat and gears). It would just be reassuring with the vipec knowing it's not the first he's done.
  14. It seems to happen at a few Nissan dealerships. I work in Nissan parts, and i'm more than happy to help other import drivers, probably because I know what it can be like trying to find parts for them from my own experiences. But i also know of people who would rather not spend the time on import stuff. As for your oil, there's no specific imports lubricant guide that i know of, but nissan have a 7.5w30 or a synthetic 5w30 that may be suitable for you.
  15. Really depends what you want from your engine. Its not as if the RB25 isn't a capable engine, especially once rebuilt!
  16. Listed most of the mods in the first post. Its nothing crazy, but its further than the basic upgrades most people do. The turbo is a HKS T300s but i will most likely change that fairly soon anyway to something a bit newer and slightly more responsive. Thats pretty much the same train of thought i'm having.
  17. You're 17 and asking in another thread where to buy an R34 GTR? Also pretty sure 350z is on the not allowed list in NSW for P platers. As others have said. Buy a shitter... it's more fun anyway. You can jump it and whatnot... and it doesn't matter that much if you do too big of a jump!
  18. Nope. I don't really mind towing the car to be tuned if i have to, but thats basically gonna add a few hundred bucks to the cost, and i still wouldn't have local support if something were to go wrong. Vipec is starting to look like an attractive option!
  19. There's one tuner in town and he does vipec. He's done a few skylines and some silvias and supras with vipecs now. His main clientel is v8's but he seems to be a decent tuner. Other than that its a 5 hour drive to Sydney or 4 hours to Canberra.
  20. Yeah i was wondering about the boost control side of things. That would be handy.
  21. I plan on buying a new ecu in the coming weeks and I need a little help deciding which way to go. The car is an R32 with RB20DET and i've just installed a larger turbo, new manifold, external gate, cams and ajustable gears, ebc and a few other things. I'd been planning for a while to go with the Nistune, until i went and spoke to the only local guy that does dyno tuning. (I'm out in the sticks). He's never had any experience with the Nistune, but he's a Vipec dealer and has done a few of them in skylines now. So what I'd like to know, is whether either of the ecu's have any specific advantages? I do like the advantage of my car being tuned locally by a guy with a bit of experience on similar setups, but I also like the price of the Nistune.
  22. I'm gonna say that continous bumping instead of answering the questions won't help you sell!
  23. Got mine when i was 18... 23 now.
  24. Haha I wish i'd known you were gonna drive through Dubbo, i would have sat on the side of the road and watched! Don't see many imports around here, let alone an R35!
