Kinda long way for me but I might come down, how many people are going?

I was in Bris last night at about 6.30 for work might have been me??? Who knows there are a fair few 32 gts-t's????

What day through the week do you go out to the track, I'd love to go out there for a look, if I can. Where is the track? I'm a GC girl don't know much about Bris.

Welcome Jamie I just bought my R32 a couple of weeks ago, best feeling keep saving it's worth it, are you looking for a gts-t or gtr??

I go to Sydney like once a year so if there is no one in QLD then that can be an option thanks. I go to the Central coast mostly how far are either of the places from there??

If there are no tuners in Australia that can work on it I can always plug the standard one back on it’s still sitting in the car, I only found the HKS comp in the car when I was getting my alarm put in a couple of days ago I thought it was running a standard management system until then.

After you said it was $5000 I had a look on the net and the comp was $2000 to $2500 new, so it would be about $1500 to $2000 now. I had an idea of the price I just wouldn't know how much kilowatts it would produce with the after market shit on it. I will have to take it to the dyno, when I have a bit more money, expensive things. I think the tuning needs a bit of a touch up I talked to the guy that sold it to me and he said the comp had been in there for a few months and was installed and tuned in Japan, though the warranty that I got doesn’t cover tuning it he recons as it’s not a mechanical problem (bull shit). I think it has back fired like 3 times since I have owned it (I think it is cause of the leads, they will be changed in a couple days so I’ll find out then) and in the morning he sits on 400revs when you first start him instead of starting him and being at 1000 in the day time, i think thats kind of normal though just being cold and not being started after 10 hours. Anyway getting to the point the guy I bought it from he said it is all normal. What do you think? I think he is trying to get out of his warranty????? But I’m a bit paranoid about this car as I’ll be paying it off for 5 years I didn't think it would be a problem getting it tuned here?? But if that is what you guys think who are the couple of companies or mechanics in QLD that can tune it??

do you really think the computer cost that much it was in the car when i brought it good buy i guess.

Just purchased and import R32 5 speed with HKS FCON engine management system, with HKS pod filter, T28 ball bearing turbo, running 18psi it has a full 3.5 inch jasma exhaust system, has also got a HKS electronic Valve controller don’t quite have enough $$$ left over after insurance to have it dyno reading yet, so I was wondering if anyone had any clue on how much kilowatts it would be producing on a nice winter night

Mine must be running 9 psi then, I have no idea how it works i'm going to have to go and see a specialist

I wasn't watching, was watchin the road, I'm not used to the car yet, this was yesterday when I was driving it for the second time ever so??? I'll have a look tonight is anyone going to Broady carpark because if you are I can show you there??? If not I might drive to Bris at Midnight.

I think he might have calculated the guage wrong because we started a fight over it because on the standard guage it was going to about 6 psi (the max being 7 psi) though he was the mech and i wasn't so he was right in his mind. I though it was going pretty alright for 3 psi thats why I questioned it. But I have only had a 4cyl turbo to compare it to, which is not a good compare. I think I'll take it into the shop and ask them what to do about it and get them to teach me.

It's not too high, its prob too low my mech and I almost red lined and he said it was running 3 psi, so I'm just Wanting to switch it up to see how he goes

I forgot about that button SBC I pressed that once and the thing started beeping at me that is when i started asking and looking on the net for instructions

That is it perfect I was on the net for an hour trying to find what model it was. It just has the HKS Guage to the left of it. What model is it?? It will be eaiser to get a manual now. Thanks heaps

Well at .99 the max boost going through is 3 - 4 so i figured if i go towards .75 it will increase the psi??? Also it only goen up to 1.00 max .75 min. These Japs mechs have it backwards it seems to me or someone might have installed it wrong thats the reason I havent been touching it. What do you think???

So what I was thinking, when I press the mode it is currently on .99, so if i were to go down towards the .75 the psi would increase??? What do you think??

I'll get one tonight. Thought of that when I put the message up!! Never had a boost controller before so its hard to explain It's got the guage with the 0.5, 1.0, 1.5 and has four buttons pwr, up, down and mode. And on the left it has a screen and when I start the car it varies between -300 and up to -550 ???? When i press mode you can go up or down between 1.00 and .75 Wouldn't have a clue I'm going to take it to the mech I brought with me when I bought the car and see what he says?

NEED HELP There is a HKS Automatic boost controller in the new car and it has a different measuring system to Aust. It's running about 3-4 p and that wont do so does any one have some web sites i can go to, I don't even know what model it is?? Or if anyone has run into this prob before. NEED HELP

I had a look at the odo and nothing was wrong the mech i brought along said there is no way the engine has done 38,000k but he doesn’t think it's gone over 70,000k. But with that in mind I still bought him, handed the cheque over last night, I'm picking him up at lunch today. Anyone know where I can get a 2-point immobiliser fitted to cover insurance until I get paid for a proper alarm, and how much $$$, I would say not too expensive as it will be ripped out in a few days.
