  1. Anyone building a twin cam rb30?
  2. Willing to put some money on that? I will leave it at that price for now, they don't come up for sale that often.
  3. you can pick up a new n1 oil pump up from ebay for less than $300 delivered.
  4. Set 1 - $350 Set 2 - $200 Final price drop.
  5. It might just be the use of, or lack of lights that make either one appear lighter or darker.
  6. The actual seller said he got an offer on the calipers. That offer might have been lower than $2300 so he could have bought them and had them sent to the Australian buyer. I guess if you want to buy them then you have the ebay link, pay via paypal and you're set.
  7. vin wont be recorded on the fast software because its not a genuine nissan vin pal
  8. Check out ebay.com Type in n1 oil pump. You will be able to pick up a brand new one for about $270 delivered from the USA.
  9. There you go pal. I remember finding a good page that had the meaning of all the codes. I will try and find it and post it up.
  10. Nevermind him, he's proved on many occasions that he simply does not know what he is talking about.
  11. HI, I am selling my rb25 cylinder head. I did have the intention of building up a rb30 twin cam but I have lost interest and would like to focus on things other than cars. Some of you may know that this type of cylinder head is a straight bolt on item for the rb30 bottom end. The cylinder head does not have VTC so no oil supply modifications are required. All water galleries line up with the rb30. It is perfect for someone wanting to build a twin cam motor. I am asking $600 for the head, 99% complete, does not include CAS. I am happy to ship this anywhere around Australia with Northline freight (probably only be depot nearest you - not to your door) PM me if you're interested.
  12. Bump. Feel free to make an offer.
  13. the f**k? i was just pointing out that he must have misread something or jumped to a conclusion without reading anything. i actually think the r34 was the best gtr ever made and i would love to own one of them one day so no, I am not a gtr hater.
  14. Ever seen a Nissan F1 car?
  15. I don't know if you read the articles but no where does it say that they are bragging about beating the GTR. None of them also say that it would be road registered either...
  16. I dont think old mate knew the circumstances and I bet he would have done a similar thing if it happened to him.
  17. Don't worry about it. It seems a very common story. A guy up here with a 20b rx7 had some idiot in an s13 doing the exact same thing. Good on you for telling old mate where to go.
  18. Having an opinion based on nothing. If you haven't driven or owned the car in question then your opinion is null and void. Like you said, you have driven a vti-r model and thought it was crap. If the thread was about the vti-r then fair enough but it isn't. I've owned a Civic and I didn't have any problems with it, the fuel economy was great but the car lacked power - this didn't make it rubbish at all and does not mean all other cars in the Honda range are bad - I say that because I haven't driven any other cars in their range. I guess you would also think the NSX that Senna helped design is a heap of crap too, just because its a Honda and you don't like Honda's engineering. I bet you would be one of the first people to jump on the bandwagon to bag out a Honda at the first opportunity you could get. After all you were the first to reply here. If I was looking at buying a R35 I would want to speak with owners and people that have driven them. Not some kid that have a poster of it in their bedroom. To me, getting an opinion from someone that owns the car is a shit load more valuable and beneficial than someone that doesn't. Sure, anyone else can have an opinion but as far as I am concerned it's not worth shit. I guess you don't remember the old topic sentence, supporting detail and references from high school. Thanks for another laugh, please keep them coming!
  19. To find out your reasoning why you would call a car you have never driven or owned a bucket. But the more info I got from you the more apparent that reason became. You would be kidding yourself if a comment posted on a forum such as this would offend me in anyway. (no it didn't offend me)
  20. Me angry? you got me all wrong. I actually get a good laugh at the pathetic threads and posts that SAU has become. I love the attempts people make to try and shoot me down - i find it very amusing. I am a very careless person at heart though nothing really bothers me. Funny you mentioned boxing, a martial arts life banner came up on the bottom of the page
  21. What happens in a test when you're presented with a specific question that you don't answer in your response ? you strike me as someone that wouldn't be able to answer that so i'll tell you. you fail... thats what happens. But don't worry princess, i've added the most informative post in this whole thread. To the OP, i'll repeat once again, join the OzHonda forum where you can actually speak to owners of these motor vehicles and not get the opinion of uneducated people that have never owned or driven the models you're asking about. TBH you're on the wrong forum to obtain this kind of information.
  22. thank you. next time someone wants some info on a gtr, maybe i'll chime in and compare it to the gts - they are both made by nissan and are both skylines. block me if you dont want to read my posts.
