  1. The first nissan place that came up when i typed 'nissan' into google. I just asked for their spare parts and gave them the part numbers.
  2. I called Nissan a few days ago about buying a set... Their prices are as follows, That Skyline GT-R lable in the middle of the rocker cover is $143 Rocker Cover is $684 Valve Covers $199 and $207 for each side respectively... $640 for these is a f**king awesome price and they look beautiful! Best of luck with the sale, if I wasn't buying shit from Japan I would probably snap them up.
  3. Greddy apparently, If I was making them I would email them, thanking them for the advice on how I can improve my fraudulent product. There would be nothing they can do. But that's just me...
  4. If you're spending 7k on a dry sump setup you're spending too much.
  5. I know where you're coming from and I understand that there is more to it than just the pump such as build tolerances and rpm limits. But having said that, if I was to spend 5k on getting a bottom end built I would be saving extra and buying an external pump or dry sump system. I know that a member of another forum had his N1 pump let go and he's now rebuilding with a dry sump. Gary, r31nismoid whatever his name is mentioned that they might be using a different metal grade for the gears in the 'new' N1 pumps. I don't mean to be disrespectful towards you but when did you last build a motor with an n1 pump?
  6. Makes two of us... If it was my build I would be selling that N1 pump as soon as they gave it to me. After reading the stories on here there is no way in hell I would run one. I hope I don't read a similar story in here again by you Jez13. Quick edit, You might be able to put some kind of meshing in the oil sump along with a magnet or two. If something shreds in the engine block then hopefully the magnet will pick it up before it goes through the engine and causes more damage.
  7. I have a dry sump pump and drive gear to suit for an rb30 / ati harmonic balancer looking at $1200 for both... 3 stage dry sump pump. everything is peterson brand.
  8. I am not 100% sure if this would work but I have noticed the vg30 kit has the same thread size as the sr20 kit but is a different type of rod bolt design. Other than that you just buy 2 x sr20 kits and have a couple of paper weights...
  9. If I was the person making the rip offs I would be reading that and re modeling the rip off...
  10. You cannot take the turbocharger out. Engine number / chassis number will bring up flags that it is a turbocharged model REGARDLESS if you've taken it off. They're registered / stamped as a turbo model for a reason. There are no loop holes or ways around it so you will have to buy a naturally aspirated model.
  11. Obviously... There are lots of people making these now. I think I even saw them on the shelf at Coles!
  12. 1 - stock intake 2 - stock exhaust 3 - modded intake 4 - modded exhaust. all testing at 28" on laminar-flow bench
  13. That name rings a bell. I remember reading years and years ago about a dude named Denso or similar that was assisting with the gt autosound s15 drag car. If it's the same place then I couldn't see any problems.
  14. +1mm oversize on intake and exhaust. I am curious to see if anyone would like to compare any other flow figures they might have for an rb26 with the price they paid. Core head assembly is $850 USD CNC porting is $1760 USD It is from theoldone.com
  15. After reading the replies in the thread I thought one would be able to make the assumption that this is the case...
  16. I am looking at an rb26 cylinder head for the rb30 twin cam head conversion. I noticed that a place can do CNC head porting on the head, here are the flow figures, Number 1 = modded intake Number 2 = stock intake Number 3 = modded exhaust Number 4 = stock exhaust I haven't seen any other figures to compare it with, if someone has them could they please let me know so I can compare.
  17. What is your budget?
  18. HI, Looking for either an rb26 or rb25 cylinder head for rb30 twin cam conversion. If you have either available please let me know - would prefer a more complete head with covers and inlet manifolds. Exhaust manifolds / turbo's are not required. Pictures, location and prices would help a lot. Thanks
  19. There was a guy selling a head stud kit for an rb26 for around 300. I will try find the link, they retail for around the 450 mark.
  20. Does anyone have a spec sheet for the rb30 rods? c-c size ect?
  21. I could get you a set of calipers, pads and disc rotors from an r35 gtr if you're interested.. might be too big for what you want though...
  22. They do look really nice in black. Not a fan on the plates. Anyone that says / suggests they're the stig when they clearly aren't are a bit of a loser imo...
  23. it's drifting...
