  1. Out of interest, how much would you want for the cylinder head?
  2. Being done ... I might just bring the engine, transmission and brakes over and see how things go from there. It's all that's really useful on the black one.
  3. I am considering getting the engine, transmission and brakes taken out and having them sent here... hmm, decisions... This one looks nicer...
  4. Hey idiot, leave the stupid comments out of the thread - their not welcome here. Judging by the posts it looks as though you're trying to get your post count up - typical. You're not contributing anything at all, eg Exhibit 1 Exhibit 2 Exhibit 3 :) Don't reply with shit that doesn't contribute!!
  5. Its currently in the USA. I am trying to help someone move it but we're both not sure what all the parts are worth. An r35 engine block sold for about USD3k
  6. So if something like this was to be wrecked you might be interested in some parts?
  7. Interesting. Thanks
  8. Hi, I am interested if anyone could put a value on a 2009 R35 engine and transmission with about 3,000 miles on the dash? Its my understanding that it cannot be purchased from a dealership as such correct? Cheers
  9. It will be too powerful for you and you will kill yourself in it. You won't be able to get an exception because you have had the choice of owning a non turbocharged car. Queensland Transport and the Government wouldn't give a rats arse that the turbocharged vehicle was better value. Buy a shit box, save your money (or your parents) so when you're on your full licence you will be able to buy something nice.
  10. Ignore my cylinder head one, thats for an rb30 head. Use the one posted previously.
  11. Dumb shit, the forum went down a few days ago. There have been posts about it. TORQUE SETTINGS - for factory bolts, nuts, studs ect. Other manufactures such as ARP have their own torque settings that are listed on the box. Cylinder head bolts - 10mm 'allen key' type bolt 1st stage - 29nm 2nd stage - 78 nm 3rd stage - loosen completely 4th stage - 29 nm 5th stage - 88 nm Corner cylinder head bolts - 10mm hex nut 8 nm Main bearing cradle bolts - 16mm IIRC 54 nm Connecting rod bearing cap nut - 10mm iirc 1st stage - 16 nm 2nd stage - 44 nm
  12. I really need to sell this. I am willing to take a reasonable offer.
  13. I've had these two parts for quite some time and no longer need them. It is a Peterson 3 stage 'bear claw' left hand mount dry sump pump. All fittings are -12 for the inlets and outlets. The model number is 03-3401. It is still brand new and has not been used. I took it out of the box to bring it up to the Gold Coast on the plane. Comes with receipt. The other parts are the drive gears to mount on a ATI brand harmonic balancer to suit the dry sump pump. I am asking $1200 for both, delivery extra. I am located on the Gold Coast. Email 2001s15 @ iinet.net.au or call 0405171451 No stupid questions or time wasters. This is for a serious hp engine.

  15. Whats wrong with it? What parts can you buy cheaper else where?
  16. Good luck selling it with that attitude. Your comment about the card being listed for over $400 on static ice is irrelevant as far as I am concerned because you haven't posted the model number of the card.
  17. What model is it? The XFX link you posted has 7 different models listed on the site.
  18. Your price isn't that great. A quick look at static ice has them listed starting at $265. You can even pick up a GTX260 for less than what you're asking.
  19. That doesn't work well enough, even with a gurney.
  20. I am looking at steam cleaning an engine thats been removed from a car. It's dirty as all hell, lots of shit built up on it ect... Looking at getting a steam cleaner to get it nice and clean again. Can anyone suggest one for me?
  21. Most of the info you're after is on his website, proengines.com.au - have a look and email him.
