Hi, After doing a bit of research and reading over the converson guide I have found the following belts that can be used for the RB30 conversion. Dayco Part Number 94407 From Mazda 323 1.7lt TD 1986-1996 152 teeth x 1" (25mm) Can be purchased from Repco for around $40 Gates Part Number T291 From Audi A4 1997-2000 1.8lt 4 cylinder turbo 152 teeth x 1" (25mm) Can be purchased from Repco for around $70 NB: Part Numbers T175R from RB30 will not work as it is only 115 teeth. GTR timing belts will not work as they are 141 teeth. There is possibly a Bosch belt that will also suit but I am unsure of the model number. There is no reason why any 152 teeth x 1" belt wouldnt suit this conversion. Hope this helps...

It doesnt really matter what you do on a 'private road', unless its a racetrack, police will get involved if anything dangerous is happening. Can someone confirm for me if its ok to use the RB25DET idler pully and tensioner with an RB26 head? Apparently there are two different tensioners, one for the RB20/25 and another for the 26...

Hi, I would like to buy a RB30 short block. Must be a series 2 engine, head not needed, only the complete bottom end. Would prefer if the oil pan hadn't been removed. Must be in the Brisbane area. If anyone has one that they would like to get rid of please let me know.
