whats the exact wording of the law? maybe you can take all the mods off the car and import the car without an exhaust, and then at the same time import a second hand exhaust etc... in the same container? then put the mods on the car during compliance?

With my car, i have a 3 point immoboliser, and when i turn off the car the turbo timer starts to run, but the car wont actually let me lock it with the remote untill the engine has stopped.

Guess not. is it just when the car is cold, my car when i start it cold runs at 2000 revs for a coupple of seconds then drops down to about 1250, then as the engine warms up it drops to about 650 - 700idle.

funny u say that, my friend used to work at Holden in Artarmon, they services a lot of cop cars, and they say that every time a cop car leaves the service centre they leave them with a defect because if the cop car has a defect they carn't book you. eg. my friend over took a cop doing 80 in a 60 zone and when he got pulled over he said "officer u have a head light out" and the oficer knew what he meant and said slow down and let him off.... i wouldn't recomend testing this tho, my friend has since lost his license

as for the squeaks, its probably just loose sh!t. when i bought my car i found 2 screw drivers in it, i was like what the fark. but now i understand every bloody screw has come loose, the handle for my seat is loose, my dash has come loose (that was quictrack guy) and my centre console came loose, when they were loose they squeaked when i went over bumps etc... but i just put some lock tight on and screwed them in. and they havn't come loose since.... me touches wood

i cracked my front bar trying to get out of my driveway.... Damn insurance makes me park on the property every night so i scrape at least once a day at the moment it is held on by 2 bolts and there are 5 that i have poped off... i have 3 bald tyres but your welcome to donate to my tyre fund. my drivers window has fallen off its rails and the seal is farked... Mine has a scratch down it, i don't know how i got the scratch, i put my window down and when i put it up it had scratches on it i think my glass isn't on the rails properly? it makes this noise when it starts to go down.
