My second fear is being rear ended while waiting stationary in a slip lane, by someone watching the traffic ahead of me instead of what *I'm* doing (since that has already happened to me once).

I decided to move to a slightly more visible position. First time I've seen something like that happen in that particular spot, which I've always considered reasonably safe. LAME. lol yeah, the only reason highmounts exist is because the turbos are too large to fit beside the engine... it'd still be the crappy factory turbo, ready to poo its ceramic gizzards into the engine at the hint of upped boost.

250kms! Jebus... An intake kit is a waste of time/money - Especially when you clearly have issues to sort out first. 300 bucks for higher intake temps and *possibly* a few kw? 250+rwkw here with the stock box. Don't bother unless you like extra noise.
