  1. Indeed! But tomorrow I'll be earlier! Got some crash tackling to do! JK
  2. As with CeJay, I have nfi if he's done it before, but the ONLY person I trust with anything electrically related to my car is Adam at BDL stereo. I would be surprised if he couldn't do it. He does all his own mechanical work as far as I know, great guy, very hard working and honest.
  3. I had (and recently sold) an Xtreme light flywheel. It was about 6kgs. Stock is 14kgs if memory serves. I do 90% of my driving in stop/start traffic, the rest is cruisy 80-100kph stuff, and it was a complete pain in the a55hole. Yes, the engine revved through the range quicker, but if ever want to drive the car lazily (ie not slamming it between gears in 1 millisecond), then there were always massive jerks. Makes you feel like you're learning manual all over again..... possibly for months. I couldn't get used to it and went back to stock. I can't express how relieving it is to be able to change gears as fast/slow as I want, based on the conditions at hand, not the car's requirements. Also, on the track (Wakefield) I couldn't change gears smooth enough for my driving instructor, no matter how quickly I shifted the stick and how smoothly/slowly I let out the clutch. I can tell I'll be way smoother when I go back (and smoothness is what you want on circuit). I guess it depends on what you want, and how dedicated you are to it
  4. Tristan - if those Skylines are parked, we make it a habit of not mentioning it on here, so ppl don't get funny ideas and make plans on our patterns/habits. Maybe edit ur post?
  5. Pretty sure I spotted Glen/myr332 at the same intersection again (near the hospital). I was the silver R33, hope ya saw the wave, were you on a hands free, or just talking to yourself....? It's the first sign
  6. Told ya the 2835 should make more at same or less boost Looking at the graphs, the only difference is a lil extra lag for you, and bit more top end... as expected.
  7. A friend and I are gonna head to Wakefield on the 29th. I'll be trying out my new turbo. Assuming there isn't torrential rain the night before (and on the forecast for the day) we'll be meeting at Epic Shell @ 8, and heading out from there. Anyone else interested?
  8. Back on the road! Grinning from ear to ear. Got 256rwkw on a very nice and safe tune, only 16.5 PSI. Using stock airbox too (don't want the extra noise/intake heat of a pod). The power comes on pretty darn smoothly, and the response is very similar to stock, just a 5h1tload more power! Thanks to John and Angelo My car @ Turbo Upgrade thread Might be going to Wakey on Tuesday and see how it fares, compared to last time where it overheated after two sessions I've got some spare parts for sale too, will list them up shortly, cbf just now. Man... I forgot what i's like driving a Skyline around here hahahah. Commodores n a few others feeling they have to make their presence known to me. The stovetop lights must attract them like gnats to a light FUN TIMES
  9. R33 GTST S2 Stock internals/unopened Power FC HKS GTRS turbo Greddy Profec B Spec II Blitz LM FMIC 3.5" turbo back exhaust, Metalcat convertor Solid piping mod AFM > turbo (rev210's intake mod) 550cc Nismo injectors Nismo fuel pump Z32 AFM Stock BOV modded to suit STOCK AIRBOX 256rwkw on 16.5 PSI (High boost) 241rwkw on 12.5 PSI (Low boost) The dyno chart maximum was from a run with a modified airbox, but only got 3kw extra, so no point. Line below that is how it stands. The lower line is on low boost.
  10. Had Pedders: run awaaaaaaaay. Bilstein now: Joy. Buy from SydneyKid!
  11. BTW, my GTRS was just installed/tuned. Got 256rwkw on 16.5 PSI. Graph in turbo thread soon. Stock airbox too!
  12. Mine was just tuned last night. Stock airbox, Blitz FMIC, full exhaust, HKS GTRS, PFC, 256rwkw on just 16.5 PSI. There was another 3rwkw when using the top half of an airbox that had holes cut in it. Bonnet up I assume (wasn't there for the tuning). Graph in turbo upgrade thread soon.
  13. ^^ Whether that's the case or not, I don't see how you can even test any more, cos no login box to be seen!
  14. ZCR, I think this might be a useful read. Drift Session I can't vouch for if any of it works, but it looks decent.
  15. Just reformatted my PC and setting up old bookmarks... The login prompt on Autospeed seems to have been removed completely! What gives? Is it entirely free now for all articles?
  16. Sorry to hear mate. Where did this happen? Maybe try nisswreck?
  17. Hubs about 400-500 I think. I replaced one recently.
  18. Could be anything mate. Go to a mechanic.
  19. A friend tells me that in the Porsche forums they say when the GTR was driven second against it in a test drive, the driver had learnt the track better. In another test where the GTR went first, it supposedly kicked up rocks and junk on the track which affected the Porsche's run. lol
  20. tub (Great... now that song's in my head)
