Item: Pioneer DEH-P80RS head unit. AS NEW. Only been in my car a week. It is currently second from top of the line in Pioneer's lineup.
Price: $500 or very near offer, delivered within Australia. I paid $640 just last week, RRP is $799.
Features: It has time alignment (auto or manual), 19 band EQ with two custom settings, etc etc.

Reason for sale: A mate is selling me his slightly older top of the line model for stupidly cheap (wish he'd decided that last week before I bought this!). Anyway, this is a great head unit, but I figured I might as well sell it to recoup some of the cost (in fact you can see in my SAU feedback that I've done this with another previous head unit).

As you can see, it's all positive. I don't believe in selling broken or shonky stuff (karma bites hard). I think the price is very reasonable, seeing as retail is $799 and this unit is only a week old. I have K2P splits in the front too and always get comments about how clear they are. I love em.

I just bought a DEH-80RS and was getting the 5h1ts with the aerial being up all the time. SAU FTW! I'll just disconnect it altogether and hope the radio signal is OK.

The culprit
Good thing the gearbox was stuffed and the radio didn't work! Apparently there was a water line that ran under the trees roots and slowly weakened it over time. The wind was the straw that broke the camel's back.

Haha, I used to play a lot of games when I was 16
Now I am a music nut, with a dementedly eclectic taste. I play guitar. Looking at getting into recording at home. I read a lot of wiki RE history of the world and how it came to be the current shambles it is. I don't mind a bit of origami either. Like photography but need some ideas for where/what to shoot around here (or... I could just go for a random drive ). I'm also into Hifi and listening to music on headphones (Dark Side of the Moon!). Oh, car audio too, except my head unit just died (DOH!). Also love a social game of squash (the most bastardy sport I've found so far, making people run).What martial arts John? I used to do Judo and should really get back into it. Got to green belt when I was 17.

I assume you live at home and depend on them for board/shelter and possibly under 18, otherwise I'd be telling them EXACTLY where to cram it. My mum has NO idea what our cars can do, nor will she ever find out. You should have just told them you got it cheap and that it's cheap to run. Maybe they're less gullible than mine though.
