  1. anybody out there know any brands that sell BLUE brake pads? my car had them on there when they arrived from Japan and don't have any writing or markings on them to tell me what they are, they are awesome pads and I want to get another set for the car. I know EBC make blue endurance pads, any others anyone knows about? Shaun
  2. http://www.pimm.org
  3. too bad about not getting numbers, i thought there would be a shitload of siliva owners who would be interested. they seem to like to cut it up on the street enough. remember, all fours is having one on the 11th if your a member. Shaun
  4. there is shelter also, lots of shade under the tree's aswell as the buildings in the pit/parking area. Shaun
  5. also, once the date comes closer when you can actually import them the demand will increase and so will the price. they are only cheap now because no-one is buying them, there is too much risk involved at the moment. Shaun
  6. adam, its not that hard on brakes as I only had to brake for 2 corners at the back and the hairpin. The rest I was either using the engine to slow me down or just throwing the car into the corners for fun. I didnt experience and brake fade or anything on the car after my longest stint of around an hour of very hard driving. basically, you can either go hard on the tyres or on the brakes, or both i guess there is one main straight with a small S in it. I managed to get into the start of 4th in my 32 and its got a stock engine. So depending on your power you could get quite fast! Shaun
  7. hks-s14, cant make it.. we have a 4wd gymkhana on that weekend going to go to the allfours one on the 11th october instead. Shaun
  8. 2S is $91, plus membership costs to a cams approved club ($20 for AFARCC). not sure if ill be able to make this one, the girlfriend has to work saturday and i thought the event was on the sunday.. hmmm, might have to convince her to come down after work Shaun
  9. lets not get started on 33's.. sheesh last one i went to there were a few 33's going around the track, aswell as a shitload of s13's, couple of 31's.. no 32's bar mine on the track though. Shaun
  10. hks-s14: they're all handbags *runs* Shaun
  11. im thinking about coming along to this one, the last one I went to a i had a ball (month ago), or ill be making it to the AFARCC one a few weeks following that. if so, ill be bringing my gf's GZE rolla aswell for some fun Shaun
  12. should do, my brode seat rails are made for R33's and R32's.. so you'd think it'd be a straight bolt across for the seats too. Shaun
  13. same, im gunna buy myself a set. always good to watch. Shaun
  14. i got one with my car and its ALOT shorter than all the other skyline box's ive had a go on so it must be the 30% one. its alot nicer to drive and gives the car a much nicer feel as the gearing is precise and there is no play/sloppyness. also makes it easier to slam through the gears quickly. Shaun
  15. 1> 85 KC Laser 2> 88 KE TX3 Turbo (fairly modified), twas in hot4's had to rebuild the engine after too much boost, same happened with the next owner, and the owner before me. 3> 78 MK II 1.6 Escort (rear ended) 4> 77 MK II 2.0 Ghia Escort (blew engine) car 3 and 4 merged together as one, the 1.6 manual come out of the 78 and replaced the 2.0 auto, fun. They were also my runabouts while I waited for the R32 to rock up. 5> 92 R32, see how long this sucker lasts Shaun
  16. im lost with people 'upping' their boost to 10psi, mine runs 10 STOCK. is it because I have a full 3" system, the stock boost is raised? please explain Shaun
  17. nice cars, too bad their white, and black.. *shudder* Shaun
  18. im quite happy they have done this, it keeps the price of my car up instead of the market flooding with dodgy cars Shaun
  19. if its a personal import then it doesn't need to be complied. but i think they still need a plate, but its a different one. Shaun
  20. agreed, like everyone else says.. the commo 6th gear is just a lower ratio for better fuel economy. It's really a 5sp but with 2 overdrives. In theory if the commie had enough power and could redline 6th it could get to 450+ odd km/h Shaun
  21. hehe, i made one of those for my tx3. a solenoid pulled it up and locked it into position (clip) and you press another button to unclip it and it springs back down. Shaun
  22. over here in WA it use to be a certain %, then i got my car and all of a sudden it had changed to a sliding scale. bastards. R34GTT-R: i put 15k for my 32 gts-t, i got a letter from the government saying it was worth 32k and i had to pay the difference or show them how i came to 15k. the idiots in redbook dont have a listing for a T, so they just assumed it was an R. morons. Shaun
  23. jason, your migrating to a skyline also.. NOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooo!! hope you enjoy your car when you find one! Shaun
  24. hmmm 9 inch, they your sparco ones with the slight dish?? i have some 255's that will fit on them nicely, on the car though.. hmmm Shaun
