  1. yeah as jeff said they already have side intrusion bars. plus, you do need a rear high mount brake light, either on the spoiler or the rear window. We glued one to the rear of my window to pass compliance and the pits, then it came off Shaun
  2. hehe thats a lame mod if you want to call it that. the skyline is renown for its quad round tail lights, anything else and it just doesn't look right. all 4 on my 32 come on also. Shaun
  3. any map's of sorts yet? I have MC in the morning 9am-12pm.. I plan to meet up with everyone at yanchep or something. Shaun
  4. when installing my stereo in the R32 i was bitching to my dad about having to drill a massive hole in the firewall to put the sub power cable through. looking i found two massive holes about the size of my fists (almost), one each side of the engine bay to place wires through to the cabin. it has some foam in there which you place back once you have put the wires through.. unsure if the R33 is the same, but take a look as there hidden away Shaun
  5. it also comes on when you get it majorly sideways. mates 33 in perth also has it.. i read somewhere there were only 100 released, it seems there's a few people on here with them though. Shaun

my mates R33 does this also, unsure if its a feature on all 33's, it locks the doors when it goes above 10-15km/h or so. my alarm locks the doors when the car starts and unlocks them when it is turned off... according to the book its an anti-hijack feature. Shaun
  7. yep.. 2S i think Shaun
  8. just a rego sticker.. there's no need to tell everyone what cheesy overpriced products you have inside your car.. plus, who really gives a shit? Shaun
  9. yeah have been thinking about it with a mate. unsure if we should use his car or mine.. hmmm Shaun
  10. eh?? you didnt get off lightly. 1-10 is 0 points, $50 11-20 is 1 point, $100 21-30 is 3 points, $150 31-40 is 4 points, $250, had a few of these 41-45 is 6 points, $350. Shaun
  11. i recommend getting a quick/short shift kit, it gives the car a much better feel as the throw between gears is very minimal. chopping the gear stick is the dodgy brothers way. god knows how long my box will last with the quick shifter. does it serious munt the synchro's slamming it into gear that fast? Shaun

for that exact reason i thought they were illegal.. when you turn the key off, the car is suppose to turn off. Shaun
  13. yeah, one is the amp for the rear speakers... the other is HICAS. Shaun
  14. 7k is alright.. i thought i heard the commentator say 300 or so. Shaun
  15. hehe the one with F**K ALL KM's on it? twas some nice driving there, hehe Shaun
  16. morning or afternoon session? and what team you in? Shaun
  17. sweet.. good to see their being put to good use. Shaun
  18. for my R32 (rb20det) whenever i fill it up from when the light is on.. it gets 55L in there. City driving i get about 300-350 per tank. Country is around 450+ then thrashing it just kills it.. dont expect to get good economy with the boost coming on like mad every set of lights. Shaun
  19. hmm i hardly see any R33 GTR's in perth. ive seen more 32R's than T's though.. probably 20-30 or so. Shaun
  20. NOTE: SplitFire = AutoMeter.. they come from the same factory, but are shitloads cheaper. Shaun
  21. i just got a call from a John Howell who has invited me to join his team.. 3 GSR's and a skyline :-) sorry boys Shaun
  22. ouchies... sounds EXACTLY what happened to mine. (except the other side) wheel hit the kerb, got pushed back into the body of the car, tie rod stretched and snapped.. lower control arm was screwed. When the tyre hit the body it pushed the panel back overlapping the passenger door and it wouldnt open.. bit if brute force put the panel back into spot. thankfully, mayhem had the bits i needed and i fixed in a few hours. i just need the side skirt fixed now and some adjustable castor rods as its a few degree's out.. something is still bent *shrug*.. but that'll fix it fully. good luck with your repairs. Shaun
  23. good to hear you got it back. whats with the roof of your car? Shaun
  24. yep.. sounds good. As long as it doesnt clash with the max action dates ( March 9th, April 6th and May 4th 2003), then im in! Shaun
  25. drive to work in it each week 500+ km's. drive it on the weekend everywhere.. and do autokhana's in it every month.. best car on the planet only park it in secure parking.. or on the street in the city during the day.. non of this dodgy area/unlit crap, cant trust anyone!! Shaun
