on that note.. in the R32's, the thing in the centre console behind the gear stick.. is that a cop holder when you pull the flap up and lock it in? thats the only thing i can think it is.. cans fit ok, but not perfectly.. stupid design if it is though.. Shaun

there's an actual scanner out for 90$ at one of the shops.. a mate saw it and checked it out.. but it only covers certain frequencies.. something ill have to look into before purchasing it. mates old one use to do up to 1ghz?? or some crap, you were able to listen to the old analog mobiles which was always a blast .. but now there gone.. is there any need to listen to those frequencies up that high? I just want, police band etc. Shaun

yeah, we had a mates scanner for a few weeks and just drove around looking for action. we heard there was a bomb found at the belmont shops once when we were in freo.. we got there before the media and everything.. odd. turns out it was an old used shell, nothing else of major importance. I keep meaning to buy a scanner, one day. Shaun

hahaha crazy i never see any skylines in west perth.. i take random routes to work too, up the hill past parliament (good to fang and see how fast you can go before the back end almost slips ) and through the back streets (good fun around the round abouts at night )or straight down hay street till subway then left. only skyline i see is one that parks in the building next to me, white 33.. never seen the driver though. cnr richardson/ventnor Strich9ine: ahh well I dont mind driving everyday to work cuz i love to drive but it'd help with fuel, this week was the first time i managed 400km's out of a tank AND it was doing city KM's.. score. hmm west perth also the OLD IBM building on Richardson Street. looking at some of the results from the dyno it looked like it was reading low but in the same proportions as it would if all the cars went on other dyno. but 220HP@wheels is about 220KW@engine guestimatedly, plus the purple GTR was stock. Shaun

there's a reason for that .. over here in WA its illegal to have it in your car.. fullstop. each state has its own rules. guess you could always go with the hidden setup, a company over east sell LS1 intakes with all the NOS plumbing built in so its invisible to the eye .. not sure what other manifolds they sell though. I was curious if someone could do me a favour and go out to their R32 (rb20DET engine) and get the part number of the air con belt as I need a new one. It shredded to pieces so I cant find any numbers on it, marlows, autone couldnt help either. out of curiosity, is it the same one as the GTR and VL 3L's. thanks Shaun
