hehe, does anyone else here still have a stock one on and its LOUD as all hell? everythone thinks its an atmospheric aftermarket one, but its just the stockie plumbing back into the intake. the reason for it is the aftermarket filter and it being so close to it. which also enables you to hear the turbo spool up quite nicely. sheesh, how many of you guys live in Rockingham? i use to live there a year ago in Hillman and had to get out of the place. hehe but whenever i go down there i never see any skylines around, even the bogans at night have died down and there's nothing to run anymore down read street. Shaun

yer true.. except at night there is always a heavy cop presance(sp?) around the hot spots, freo, scarbs, northbridge etc. sometimes there just to crack down on cars, ive seen it a few times while walking through the area's.. thankgod it hasn't happened to me yet while in the car. but either way, a cruise is a cruise and i much prefer the day time for now, until summer fully kicks in. can't wait for T3 to come out next july.. ohh baby Shaun

you gotta get a GTR bonnet, they are SO DAMN light!!! god knows how much a wrecker would want for one but id see in the mark of 1k or so *shrug* also look for people whom have done rb26dett conversions, maybe they have the bonnet and grille lying around if they put it into a VL for example. Shaun

yep, once she's licenced you'll recognise her and me alot better as i have my [RADIUM] plates in storage awaiting to be placed on her were you the two toner? I was gunna come over for a quick chat over in the parking bays with you guys but I just wanted run after run. i managed 14 in total. strich: my brother in law owns Speedfreaks and he just sent in a letter to apply for them and received a call as soon as the letter came in for him to come and pick them up, theyre cheaper than a years worth of rego theyre coming in pretty handy.. not a single hassle from the cops whatsoever, be it during the day or 3am driving through northbridge. *TOUCH WOOD* Shaun

damn that was a good day.. 14 runs in total. best of 14.66 with a full exhaust system. all where pretty consistant with one another, if my 60footer was XX secs off my best, it was XX secs off the final time too. would everyone be up for another once the wednesday nights start again. it'd be alot cooler. techone ive seen run a 11.4 or was it 5.. anywho, it was quick I think I have a video of it somewhere. 340 for a turbo timer, ouch. I think you should buy a cheaper turbo timer.. 100-150$ and get a better tacho, those autogage series are very budget looking although im sure they perform the same as the more expensive ones, they just dont have a u beaut silver surround and face. Shaun

yeah, its something around the lines of +-23% from memory. I've searched the web pretty hard and could only come across the other models. The Gen1 tells you where each colour wire is suppose to go and i plan on wiring it up how that says, but it doesn't have a diagram explaining what colour pin 1 -> 4 actually are as im lacking the actual plug. im thinking about prying it open and seeing which wires are power etc. id assume pin1 and 2 are power, but I had better check first before sending 12v through it. upon purchasing my car it came with a few goodies. one which is the older model APEXi AFC which can be seen in this picture below. The only issue with it was it wasn't plugged in and didn't even have the plug on the rear of it, it was just mounted there with the boost controller. Ive spent ages looking on the net for the manual for it but can only find the new blue screen S-AFC and the generation 1 AFC which is like mine but has 5 knobs on it instead of one. Does anyone out there have the same model as this and could offer me some assistance as to which wire out the back (4 in the plug ) is suppose to be which colour etc. the rest i should be able to figure out. 2 are for power and two are to go to the AFM. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
