  1. two images of mine, without and with. i had to have mine added for compliance over 2 years ago, the guy said that was the worst part about compliancing them because he had to cut into the panels in the next few months ill be getting panels for it without the indicators.. nice and clean. Shaun
  2. but then again, ive had mine for 2 years and ive used it for a couple of track days and numerous autokhana events and not a thing on it has broken. its had a very hard time and im very happy with it. Shaun
  3. eeek we use to own a 70's colt as a bush basher, it was RWD just like the lancer of those days. it was quite a good car and very strong. a mate also has a 83 colt as a second car, efi turbo with about 82kw and stuff all weight. It gives a few people out there a fright when this bunky ass peice of crap blows them away. Shaun
  4. superspit, try and find how many cars where imported TOTALLY in a year and then see how many commodores are sold each year. I read somewhere in 2002 when i imported my car there was something like 27k cars or so. say 15% of that are 33's then thats about 4000 in one year. holden sell in excess of 27,000 commodores a year.. eaaaasy! Shaun
  5. from? who deals in these tyres. im up for new tyres once my rims get back from getting all prettied up. Shaun
  6. ive had two sets of JIC's in my car, they do what they do and make your womans boobs bounce all over the place on normal streets theyve been good for track work too. EDIT: the reason ive had two sets is I mashed a kerb and one bent so i got another set. Shaun
  7. mate bought a pair of OBX carerra's.. they are pretty crap, but you get what you pay for i guess ($700 pair) you will most likely need your rails modified to suit the seats, if their going in your GTR id keep the R seats as they are a hell of alot better. The TX3 seats.. id probably go the OBX. to fit them you will need the rails modified or have to buy aftermarket rails, i have some bride rails in my car for my recaro's, if you do purchase some seats your welcome to try them to see if the seat fits before going out and buying the rails. they are around 150 each from memory. where abouts in perth are you located? i use to own a modified black KE TX3 and ive only seen 2 blue tx3 4wd's around, one around thornlie/gosnells (my hood) and the other was in perth. Shaun Shaun
  8. got part of the passenger side skirt? type-m? im chasing a whole one or just the front 1/5 or so of the front as mine is damaged. thanks Shaun
  9. got the passenger side skirt or PART of it? I only really need the front 1/10th of it as it can be plastic welded onto my broken one. ta Shaun
  10. cool, ill pass this onto my girlfriend she's got a 92 rolla and we put in a GZE, she's been to a couple of track days in collie too. do you have sleepovers and stuff ? Shaun
  11. Cool, it keeps it out of sign from the fuzz aswell. They see a cluster of gauges and BOOM the red and blues are on and your walking home funny. Shaun
  12. I was looking at the Pioneer AUX Input option but then i thought to myself, i could do this myself. Screw buying one of the RB20 thingo's when I already have one in my engine bay. I have a basic Pioneer DEH-P2050, it has the IP-BUS thingo but no Aux Inputs but I remembered reading i could switch to AUX etc. which had my puzzled when I installed the stereo. When i bought my iPod I was going to get myself an iTunes unit but read they are pretty shitty, even on their own website they dont say its that crash hot. Then I my manual said something about AUX input so I had a quick look at the stereo again, I then pulled it apart to find on the MotherBoard of the deck it has the AUX input solder points. I simply soldered some wires and some RCA cables onto this and booyah, I had myself some AUX inputs After doing it I found on caraudioaustralia some guy found the same thing and he has also taken a photo of it to show where it is. Very helpful and it saved me $180 for the official Pioneer device. Shaun
  13. it came with the car when i imported it so I have no idea unfortunately. its a piece of carbon fibre shaped/cutout around the top of the gauge, its quite a tight fit and it holds it in there very well. the fibre is then simply screwed to the steering column with some 90 degree angled pieces of metal. The gauge itself sits in a small cup. its quite simple and does the job perfectly and is in perfect view without blocking any dash gauges at all. Shaun
  14. they sold boxsters back then? One of the reasons I think they didn't sell that well back then was because of the price tag, a HSV GTS in 92 was 54k, a GTR, 110k. OUCH! TonyGTS-t, id say around that mark (guesstimate) as the R32 GTS-t was sold for around half the cost of the GTR in japan making a 92 model worth around 55k.. so the R33 would have been slighty more if they sold them here. Shaun
  15. sorry for the large image but i cant be assed downloading the file and reupping it to my webspace. i have mine located on the steering column, passed registration fine. front view side view

  18. if you want to get rid of that broken pasenger sideskirt for 50$ give me a yell.. as its really not much good to anyone else. i have a munted front half of a side skirt and need another front portion to plastic weld back onto it. Shaun
  19. anyone know of somewhere to get some for around this price for my r32 as they seem to be around 100-150$ more than Clint32's price. ta Shaun
  20. Going only by going by the way you are writing and your knowledge of cars, I would suggest taking your car to a mechanic. Shaun
  21. the vents are heat for the passengers, they work when you put the climate control onto feet. Shaun
  22. what you doing with your old rims? i assume you have r32 stockers on there? Shaun
  23. yep... tis what i have on mine on 8 inch rims.. both front and back. 255's also fit with some minor scraping over some SERIOUS bumps Shaun
  24. A while ago I had an incident with a kerb and the front 1/10th or so of the passenger side skirt is munted. I only really need the front portion in front of the door as I can then plastic weld it back onto the old one. Thanks Shaun
