  1. I have for sale one genuine GTR strut brace to suit R33. It was previously fit to an R33 Skyline Gts-t. It is in great condition. Price: $160 ono Contact: 0405 707 488 or PM
  2. SOLD I have for sale a set of genuine lowered King springs to suit an R33. (Apparantly they suit R34 also). They have only been used for a very short time, aproximately 2,000 km. They are in perfect working condition, and are ready to install. I am selling these, as I am bringing my car back to stock. Price: $210 ono Contact: 0405 707 488 or PM
  3. I have for sale one Isotta Steering Wheel with boss kit to suit R33. The steering wheel is genuine. It was previously fit to an R33 Skyline Gts-t. The boss kit interfaces with the R33 indicator cancellor unit, unlike some I have seen. Price: $210 ono Contact: 0405 707 488 or PM
  4. Make that three
  5. Four door will not retain it's value anwhere near as well as a two-door. They also look slightly awkward.
  6. "Yes! Bodywork" in Sunshine. They could probably do it for around $300.
  7. Definitely downhill. Bought the current issue, had a brief look, and to my dismay no project car. Back in the old days there was a project car in each issue. The R34 and Soarer buildups were terrific. The buyer’s guides are a load of crap. They are just a good way of disguising a few pages worth of advertising. Like others, I am also sick of hearing Otomoto, Otomoto in each edition. The only articles worth reading now are those by Martin Donnon, and even he is starting to flail. I'm finding it difficult to justify spending any more money on HPI. The only reason I bought this copy is in the delusional belief that they picked up their act. Sadly I was mistaken. I will buy the next issue, but if I don’t see a project car or some decent how-to’s, I will be writing-off HPI like Drift Battle. It seems they have just enough content for one magazine, but feel they must milk it out over two.
  8. Hi. As stated above, I am after a cheap set of R33 GTR front guards. They can have dints, stratches etc... however nothing that has altered their shape beyond repair. If you have anything like this, please PM me!!

    Should I Buy?

$13700 still seems like a lot. You could easilly find an R33 for that prince (S1). They are getting cheaper and cheaper. Plus for that money you get a 2.5lt engine and a better gearbox. Anyway, good luck with the purchase.
  10. Hi. After a Trust FMIC. Doesn't matter if it is damaged or in working condition. PM me with details and price. THANKS!!!

    Should I Buy?

    14k without rego/stamp duty is a lot for a stock R32.
  12. Thanks for the response so far guys. I am not planning on keeping the car for very long so I am really just after the cheapest option. If price difference for a Patrol or standard Skyline clutch is minimal compared to the Exedy H/d in the link, I will probably just get the Exedy.
  13. Hi. Does anyone know where I can buy an R33 GTS-t clutch kit? I am after the PULL type variety. I am after the same as standard fitment, or equivalent aftermarket variety. Do not require heavy duty, unless price difference is negligible. Also, interested where I can purchase Nissan Patrol clutch as an alternative. If anyone has any contacts, where they can get them for discounted price, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  14. Nah, that's Prince.
  15. Hmm, yeh I think the clutch might be on its way out. I had a good drive yesterday, seems to be more pronounced between 2500 rpm 3500rpm. Will have to try what you said Rolls. It's not just the needle jumping mad082, engine actually revs up higher. Seems to happen when both cold and hot FATGTS-R. I also noticed on the freeway yesterday, when I was in 5th gear and gave it a good rev then back off, up to around 5-6k rpm, a smell appeared. It was hard to explain, similar to burning rubber. Seemed to have been coming from bottom of the car, definately not engine bay. Thanks for all your help.
  16. Hi. I am experiencing a strange spike when I step on the throttle. The revs spike up approximately 500rpm at around the 3000-4000rpm mark, then back down. This has only been a recent thing. The car in question is a manual R33 RB25DET Skyline. I don't think it is a boost spike, as the stock boost needle doesn't jump like the tacho needle does, subsequently this also occurs when the boost needle is reading in vacuum. Any advise is appreciated.
  17. I guess they could use that.
  18. Meh, Western suburbs rock. Been pulled over once in all my years of driving, and that was only because the police wanted to check my plates as a similar car was reported stolen. Never been hassled, defected, etc... In contrast, when I ventured out to the East one day, I was pulled over by three cops within the span of 30mins.
  19. S14a. I have an R33 and am looking at selling it to buy an S14. R33's are just to common, and the stigma attached to driving one is frustrating. Admittedly R33's have better specifications on paper, but they are both great cars. Looks wise S14a takes the cake, whereas an S14.5 is probably one of the hottest conversions possible. R33's seem to be dropping in value. People are selling these for much less than what they should be worth as the market is saturated. Good luck with whatever car you choose, but I feel you will probably be disapointed in the long run if you buy an R33.
  20. Yeh, I live near there too. I drive past Nismo/OH pretty often. Haven't seen your car there. I concur with IOWNU and R32_GODZILLA, wouldn't trust either Nismo or OH.
  21. Pretty sure you don't need to change guards. The headlights are different but not around the part connecting to the guards.
  22. Supra all the way. Shape is over 10 years old and still looks better than most modern cars. Plus 400+ kw from stock internals is nothing to sneeze at.
