  2. not with 8kg of compressed lpg leaking at the nozzle
  3. yeah from memory it was 14 and we had staff on 7 or 11 i think? long time ago whats scar non ?

    Coil Packs

as matt said, the brand probably means zero any brand new coil pack will perform better than 15+ yrd old coilpacks oem, splitfire, yellow jacket i put splitfires in my ecr33 when it had misfire on boost, fixed it no problems
  8. covered in PFC FAQ @ paulr33.com
  9. just check when you are datalogging that the hand controller is not plugged in they share the hand controller bandwidth so its the datalogit can miss values when fighting for bandwidth with the hand controller in use at the same time from memory the only way to make it re-learn idle is DATA INIT
  10. depends on how hard you flog it how are the afr's cruise for light load - air fuel ratio or it just a max power tune (most are) does your 02 sensor work (most die after a few years) is 02 feedback turned on
  11. the air temp sensor and water temp sensor are the same part number, its the same part and you can use either leave the sensor where it is and leave the ecu do its job - back out timing when intake temp is excessive dont forget you are measuring air after the compressor wheels and after the intercooler so 45deg is pretty good imagine the air temp at the compressor wheel outlets? its probably double that so 45deg is fine there is nothing wrong and nothing to fix. dont move the sensor
  12. apexi have released the djetro for ECR33 if you are after that it inclues a map sensor and air temp sensor as a kit but its djetro only, you can swap between models like autronic etc where you just choose the input type the powerfc was always positioned as the cheap end of the stand alone plug and play so thats why its set model and not customisalbe out the ass, but customisable enough and i think retard tming based on knock isnt a feature because they didnt want it as a feature it would be 3 lines of code to do it but i believe they didnt want it to back out timing because its too simplistic i agree it would be nice to have it as an additional feature, ie off by default, enable and choose how many deg or INJ to correct based on knock etc
  13. sounds good pics and any info would be great including etc, version
  14. anywhere that has growth basically if your buying it for an investment as long as the value grows thats all that matters ie no need to buy in a hip suburb if all you car about is growth buy in shepparton or benalla or something as long as the value goes up all good
  15. needs more T51R
  16. learn how to use the hand controller (thats why you have stand alone engine management) and take out some timing, add some fuel or a combination of both the powerfc faq has all you need to know take some ownership and fix it yourself so you can drive it safely and then get the tuner to do it properly http://paulr33.com/powerfc-faq/powerfc-faq.htm
  17. if you change nothing else other than the airflow meter i cant see how it adds power
  18. not sure im convinced with "waste of money" or "does nothing" it has limitations and isnt the be all and end all but if you can get one cheap and can get some cheap tuning time you can net yourself some good gains basically everywhere in the RPM range
  19. its only in the supplement manual for BNR34 - i highlighted the filename at the top left the normal R34 service manual doesnt have any info on the NATS or ATTESSA/E-TS systems
  20. read up on the system in the service manual find the 34R service manual and it tells you about the system its called NATS
  21. there was a white ECR33 S2 at keilor downs place just before WJP 462 or something like that. it had a wing and appeared std ish 33 so not sure if its yours
  22. version 3 means nothing be careful what model you buy if its djetro it should say BCNR33D or RB26D on the side if its BCNR33L or RB26 (and no D) then its normal AFM model you cant intermix the two, so either get djetro with the twin map sensor kit seperaetly or get the airflow meter version you cant make the djetro version run airflow meters, and you cant make the airflow meter version run map sensors you can buy the PFC to suit BCNR33 brand new with el hand controller for about 1200 i think www.nengun.com if you need more info http://paulr33.com/powerfc-faq/powerfc-faq.htm
  23. dont reduce the timing if its knocking reduce the boost reducing the timing will make it flat and doughey reducing the boost will make it detonate less and keep it crisp with the timing the same
