ask yourself this if you are selling a car and it has a non-std turbo why would you not put this in the "sale info" to increase the price why would someone sell a car and not mention that?

the car should start with the AFM unplugged unplug the AFM and see if it starts if it doesnt then you may have fried something else check the basics, check blown fuses, check for burnt smells on the relays etc

whatever is wrong, is seriously wrong id say your ecu is toast, or the loom is f**ked or something is seriously damaged have you got another known working ecu you can try? does the nistune have any working diags or display? have you got consult you can connect up (does it work with nistune, i assume it does)? check the ecu and loom for a loose ecu loom connector whatever is wrong, is seriously mangled ie its not just a loose cooler pipe not much would make the engine "stop" and all the dash lights come on

yeah kinda all over the place here but you can run the GTR ecu and run one or two afms (its upto you) if single AFM mode you parrallel up the signal wire into AFM-1 and AFM-2 inputs on the GTR ecu

yes the definitive way before you spend any money is to drop the exhaust and visually inspect the exhaust wheel its the only sure fire way then you can be sure the turbo is toast if the exhaust wheel looks ok, check the compressor wheel

i think if there was a vac leak or the wastegate stuck open it would still build some boost or at least half attempt to go past zero it would just be laggy and sluggish if the exhaust wheel is toast, then you will build 0 boost pressure, absolute zero, as the compressor wheel is only driven by air induction, and not forced from turbine pressure

grant as long as it (the pc or laptop or mac or windows or linux or solaris or beos) can speak to a serial port it should be fine datalogit (and the others) expect a serial port, and don't understand usb so as long as whatever you use, appears as COM serial port, it will work (or should) datalogit ships with a USB cable and so does FC hako but all that this cable does is provide a USB serial port datalogit and apexi fc pro etc don't know native USB speak they just assume its a COM serial port and hope for the best

yep you can try running it inside an emulated windows as long as it can speak to a serial port it should be fine datalogit expects a serial port, and doesnt understand usb so as long as whatever you use, appears as COM serial port, it will work (or should) datalogit is software and a cable fc hako is a cable datalogit is software and a cable depending on what software you try to use, will determine what cable you use or vice versa if you have an apexi legit cable, you must use their software if you have datalogit cable, you can use datalogit if you have an fc hako cable you can use any software

yeah you need winblows to run datalogit and fc hako is a cable only solution, so you use the fc hako cable with datalogit or apexi's software again all windows based you could buy a crap old dell lattitude laptop off ebay for 200 with a true serial port and run win98 many people do that for car based serial connection thingies (i sold my datalogit kit with a dell win98 laptop)

just get a vl and run 22psi
