  2. yeah it is a big difference, i started my loan at 9.2 i think and thanks i found with nab when the rate drops, your repayments are the same unless you call up and get the repayments recalulated otherwise they wait a year and send you an updated schedule, but when the rates up go, they notify you within 30 days its their way of doing you a "favour" by letting you repay more
  3. ie boost build is from 0:00 to 0:03.5s full bost is reached, wastegate opens, then you get squeaking nosies
  4. whatever it is, its coming from the wastegate or when the wastegate opens if you hear the engine you can it ramp on boost and once what i would call peak boost is made, shortly after you get that wierd whining sound id say its something on the wastegate or the boost control system (that opens when peak boost is reached)

  6. prob makes sense to do lettering your choice of colour first then away you go with the calipers and you can leave them on just tape up everything and use newspaper
  7. do it yourself its pretty easy theres even howto's in the howto section on it the paint costs about $40 tops and some shitty sandpaper to do the writing differnt colour paint the calipers one colour with vasoline over the lettering then when its dried and done, wipe the vas off and reverse to do the lettering
  8. what you do grant is wash it with the detergent thingy spray gun dont use the car wash brooms then once the car is soaked and has some detergent on it use a microfibre cloth, if you dont have one, use an old tshirt you do this to wipe away the dust/dirt that simply spraying it doesn't clean then do this as quick as you can (dont let it dry) and keep washing it down whilist you do it never let that dust/dirt dry then it should be bang on spotless

  12. i was about to say, if your no ECU expert why ditch a proven setup thats worked on many cars? there would be lot of djetro BNR34's out there id imagine and its all in the tune (and install) i suspect particularly with twin map sensors and individual throttle bodies get the tune checked before you bin a good working setup and fork out cash theres no reason 1 ecu would be "doughey" and another isnt its all how it is tuned the only time youd expect a "doughey" ECU and not a "doughey" tune is if you lack load points, ie like a really nasty 8x8 ECU or something simple like that with limited tuning abilities if the djetro PFC is setup properly and tuned correctly it should perform the same as the other ecu's

  16. yeah well you can get pretty cheap survellance cameras (not sure how good) but end of the day make sure you have got contents insurance and you sohuld be ok if someone does get in

  25. yes that looks like someone has unlocked a previously locked powerfc and saved it over the top and not checked the values you need to be VERY careful when unlocking powerfc's with datalogit. you must double check the values before saving. there is a bug where when you unlock the injectors that it actually reverts them to bogus values, thus placing your engine at risk. so take extreme care when unlocking and check the values. from memory a locked injectors setting once locked, cannot be safely unlocked via datalogit. ie datalogit can unlock it, but the values are gone. so if you had say a pro tuner in japan set the injectors correctly and locked it, then when you unlock it, you loose the values
