  1. they washed my r33 with their boobs
  2. could you honestly have more than twin gt-rs's worth of street power? on a 26/30 i would have thought they would have been spot on for max power and quick wind up (well the quickest possible for massive power) are the gtrs's ball bearing or plain bearing? i recall the twin 2530's are plain bearing
  3. to unit -> ground and power to solenoid -> power and ground from solenoid -> map sensor signal at a guess the 2 pin plug is power (ground and power) for the main unit the 3 pin plug is solenoid and map sensor, green being map sensor signal
  4. whilst its all good and fun to have 320rwkw on ecu cams afm injectors what about the important stuff that makes it driveable? whats the point of all that power will crappy tyres, stock suspension, stock clutch and other various components that help make the turbo upgrade worthwhile. a lot of people these days are into the habit of just grabbing any old cheap ebay turbo or garrett reseller $xyz$ and then bolting it and fitting mods (only bare essentials) to me, i dont see the point, it would suck and be frustrating
  5. i have the apexi powerfc and apexi pen turbo timer and they both work just fine. the powerfc will interact with the loom and ignition the same way as the stock ecu. so if you install the stock ecu back in does it being working again? the handbrake switch is attached, well to the handbrake
  6. We are looking into organsing this as an open event for the SAU community. We will update the thread when we have organised and planned the night. For event details please see SAU VIC - Movies Night

The cinema locations are to try and cater for the majority so pick the cloest one to your location. I will post up the selected session time, once it has been released by Hoyts. Movie Info: Sean Boswell is an outsider who attempts to define himself as a hot-headed, underdog street racer. Although racing provides a temporary escape from an unhappy home and the superficial world around him, it has also made Sean unpopular with the local authorities. To avoid jail time, Sean is sent to live with his gruff, estranged father, a career military-man stationed in Tokyo. Now officially a gaijin (outsider), Sean feels even more shut out in a land of foreign customs and codes of honor. But it doesn't take long for him to find some action when a fellow American buddy, Twinkie, introduces him to the underground world of drift racing. Sean's simple drag racing gets replaced by a rubber-burning, automotive art form with an exhilarating balance of speeding and gliding through a heart-stopping course of hairpin turns and switchbacks. On his first time out drifting, Sean unknowingly takes on D.K., the "Drift King," a local champ with ties to the Japanese crime machine Yakuza. Sean's loss comes at a high price tag when he's forced to work off the debt under the thumb of ex-pat, Han. Han soon welcomes Sean into this family of misfits and introduces him to the real principles of drifting. But when Sean falls for D.K.'s girlfriend, Neela, an explosive series of events is set into motion, climaxing with a high stakes face off. Pricing: Standard Movie Pricing
  8. yes the locking feature; hides all values for any given setting and set them all to zero's the following software can unlock/lock fc datalogit apexi fc pro (retail version) apexi powerfc pro (power excel tuner version) it is NOT password or a code/key feature it is merely lock/unlock. any of the above programs can unlock/lock any of the settings ie: datalogit can unlock power excel lock any other software that can emulate the apexi protocol and send the right sequence of commands (see powerfc hacking exposed on how to do it)
  9. the point is, why would u want to risk it ? what if it goes bang? why take that chance?
  10. 14psi is too high on the topic of tunes, what does everyone feel when a workshop locks the maps and settings via datalogit or power excel? does this not seem dodgy as all hell, i mean youve paid $500 odd for the settings, why should you not be allowed to view/see them ?
  11. the z32 will still max at 5110mv same as the stocker but it is able to physically flow more and measure air due to its different cabliration scale. selecting the VG30 80 AFM from the PowerFC menu simply loads the ramp table. you still need to check it on a dyno as the max load points for the stock 26 afms will be different for the z32's. ie: stockers on max load may show load point 15 and 16, max load on the z32's may show load points 18 and 19 so as a result, your max load afr's and IGN timing will be incorrect and possibly unsafe or not OK'd by the tuner
  12. hi, i dont think anyone has commented they are backyard jobs. perhaps you are reading into it incorrectly. as far as i know there is really only one way to rebuild a turbo (or build) and thats correctly including balancing it. is it possible to skimp it and make it dodgy (i guess so?) but no one is implying you are. can you comment on bearing failure if the car is suddenly shut off ?
  13. a really big game of daytona usa
  14. correct the powerfc is a great computer but with stock injectors and stock pump it wont be a safe tune. youll need; larger injectors larger airflow meter larger fuel pump heavy duty clutch some good tyres cold air intake suitable manifold (and gate if external) suitable dump pipe suitable 3" turbo back exhaust at the least (with hiflow cat)
  15. t04z on at ~5200rpm gtrs twins on at ~4600rpm stock twins on at ~3500rpm do they sound about right ? (for stockers)
  16. the stock ecu wont advance timing, only retard when it picks up knocking. the safc when you piggyback it on the stock ecu and will advance timing for you thanks to bending the afm signal.
  17. its a narrowband lambda sensor and nothing else. providing the unit is in the same scale and voltage is should work fine. i have an el falcon sensor in mine and it worked fine with stock ecu and powerfc. closed loop would correctly and acceptable fuel economy was achieved once changed
  18. there would more suitable turbocharger combinations to get to 250rwkw with much less lag and overall cost
  19. a well setup skyline on the stock turbo would blow away your car with a pfc that turbo and an intercooler average power makes a car fast not a big turbo. its a good turbo? based on what? what do you want out of the turbo? do you want lag? do you want quick response? do you want max power? do you want a good street car? do you want to win dyno comps and nothing else? what do you want to do with the car? what do you expect? only then can someone say its a good or bad turbocharger or recommend one that is suitable. also a power goal will give you the answer you need
  20. why wouldnt you sell it ?
  21. why you did you choose 16psi? what power do you want to make? there are a lot of modifications you will need to effectively use that turbocharger. why fit a 700hp turbo if you only want 350hp?
  22. they can be rebuilt but i think garrett would prefer you didnt and buy a new cartridge as they make more money
