  4. i would expert 0rwkw gain by going to a larger intake pipe if you are forced to upgrade to 4" intake then what about your intercooler pipework and throttle body surely these must be upgrade as well to justify the 4" intake? imho i wouldnt expect any point as i dont think you would be maxing out 3" of pipework
  5. yeah quite a few have made over 300rwkw no problems apexi rate a single Z32 legit VG30 AFM at 350kw and ash we saw peaked 360kw with a single Z32 as well how are you working out the AFM is limiting your ability? does it reach 5v - are you seeing anything else or simply you can't make any more power and guessing what the cause is? if you are reaching 300rwkw at peaking 5v something is not right if its a legit z32 AFM from a VG30 and everything is correct you should not peak 5v at that power level

  11. sucks man ill keep an eye out but it would be long gone now unfortunately turning the wheels full lock does nothing and its easier if the handbrake etc is on as you drag it onto the flat bed the only thing that protects your car from being stolen unfortunately is full comp no other protection will suffice, unless its a 200k lambo or something rare and spastic with satelite tracking
  12. as ash said you only need a good controller if you want to run MORE boost if you get the right sized actuator spring or external gate spring at the desired level then that's all you need no need for a $500 controller. its only if you want to bleed MORE boost over the minimum target level that you need a controller the higher priced controllers usually offer scramble, dual solenoid, fancy displays etc if you insist on a controller dont get a 14psi spring and try to run 27psi its too much work for the controller and it will struggle, try and size the spring according to your minimum target level ie if you want to run 19psi all the time, then get a 16psi spring and bleed 3psi

  15. fuel pump will add 0rwkw why would it add power? air and fuel make power, not much how much a pump can flow change the air/fuel ratio, youll make power ie tune will make more power larger turbochargers will make more power fuel pump is good insurance policy and youll need it later on when you change turbochargers std fuel reg is fine, dont change it

  18. the powerfc has the logic and code built into the unit for the boost control kit but you cant use it without the sensor, harness and solenoid the menus are on the hand controller etc the boost kit itself includes an additional wiring harness a map sensor a boost solenoid on the the side of the powerfc is a white socket, you plug the harness in there and plug in the map sensor and solenoid so you dont have to do any wiring or splicing etc, just plug and pray then set boost on the menu and duty and your done the AVCR uses the same parts but has different controller logic the avcr has boost scramble, boost gain etc and other features but it uses the same sensor, harness, solenoid you can mix and match them (the parts)

  20. im using the powerfc boost kit and it works well when you use it you get boost print out on the hand controller and the powerfc will correct based on boost as well set and forget and away you go set target boost, set duty to reach that level and your done it doesnt do dual solenoid or any fandangle stuff so if your on std turbos etc its fine if you want 3.6kgcm2 of boost with instant scramble then get a dual solenoid unit
  21. i think there is some merit it but most wouldnt bother you get the extra looks of the GTR you get ITBs with twin turbo you get less weight than GTR you get the extra guages, interior differences etc, gtr badging you get working air temp correction
  22. if you go from std SMIC to FMIC and change nothing else no power gain loss in throttle response slightly extra lag between open the throttle body and boost response i cannot see any way you would GAIN power by changing the core size and adding more pipework at the same boost level if you turn up the boost, tune it etc then yes youll make power, but just by chainging core and pipework = 0 rwkw gain

  24. i got my 1997 gtst with 58k on the clock in 2003 and it looked legit and drove like legit kms but 49 in 2011 sounds low as a ref mine now has 232,000
  25. good old ARJ and LHA such random compression routines and what about DEICE for the original doom installer eh =) yeah global free way and goconnect was the other one and there was that koala cash thingy where you had the ad's window on your pc but there were hacks to make it off the screen so you still got credit for running it
