  2. use temp IGN adjust to back out -8 deg timing and floor it if its does the same you can be pretty sure its not ignition related knock and some form of mechanical noise etc

  4. what brand are the cam gears are they secure, have they been double checked check base timing at idle as ash said, double check, triple check whatever is wrong, is fundamentally wrong given the power is ass, ie it wont be a slight restriction causing it, id say timing is way off or something fundamental to make that much of a difference in the results (or to hamper it)

  8. if the serial was RB26xxxxx then you would need FCC NT so i suspect the hand controller you have is to suit RB26xxxxx SERIAL # and not GTR33Dxxxxx so you can probably safely sell yours as FCC NT
  9. check the FAQ to find out what version you need from memory its FCC3
  10. covered in the PFC FAQ in my signature it has a list of what model hand controller to get in a pinch if you go for the new EL hand controller it will work otherwise you must match the exact version, given its the new GTR djetro you i think need is product part # X001 which is FCC3 (sticker on the back) its easier to go for the EL one as you can be guaranteed its right

  17. do it before the tune, thats way its sorted and one less thing to be delayed or have issues with the difference in throttle response on a before and after are ever so slight (without any other changes)
  18. never heard of a 1/4 of a tank problem? and the pump always sucks from the bottom, so there is no "sucking crap up from the bottom" as, it always sucks from the bottom
  19. you will gain 0rwkw fitting a larger intercooler and you will experience a little more throttle lag when i say throttle lag, i mean lag from the time you open the throttle body to the time the engine pressurizes all the extra pipework and larger core usually when you fit a larger intercooler you add more boost and tune it at the same time, so you dont notice the loss of extra throttle lag i fitted a fmic to my GTST and changed nothing else and noticed an ever so slight difference but that all changes once you increase boost and tune it properly
