  1. Nathan, thanx for the advice. The situation is that the importer is in Sydney. He just imported the car in for me and right now it is in a compliance garage. i know in melbourne, we need a RWC then we can register for the car. I don't think the importer has extra license plate though. Even if he has the plate, how am i going to get the rego sticker?
  2. Hi guys, just a simple question. I am from Melbourne and i want to get this car which is located in Sydney. Is it possible to register the car with VicRoads here then i bring the license plate up to Sydney and drive the car down myself? Instead of spending $300+ on transport fees. Anybody with good advices? Cheers
  3. so normally what kind of performance car can a stock or lightly mod R33 GTST go against? I just wanna find out because i'm looking around for a 33.
  4. Looks like the HSV and FPVs dude can smell the smoke of the GTR then. How about a '96 R33 GTS25T series 2 against other cars. Which cars can the GTST stand a chance against?? Any chance against an STI?
  5. Do u mean a stock unmodified skyline can kill them?? Just a curious question. Can u post the PDF??
  6. Hey guys, just a question..do you think a Holden HSV or Ford FPV can beat a fully Mod GTR R34 V-spec or can the HSVs and FPVs beat a Stock GTR R34 Vspec? please advice. To what i know in the previous thread, someone's R34 won a HSV by 1 sec in a 1/4 mile? Cheers
  7. Hey mate, send me more pictures please?eg. interior, close up rear, close up engine [email protected] cheers
  8. dude..ur starting price was $19,500, u brought it up to $20,000..and u say price dropped to $19,500??!??.....make up your mind dude..=)....send more pics please? [email protected] cheers
  9. Thanks for the advice again guys, just wondering if any of you can recommend the best place for a reasonable gtst. IOWNU, care to share how did u get your skyline and how u went around searching for it? Adrian, care to share your past experiences as well like any hiccups u had in the process of purchasing your vehicle? be it skyline or any japan import vehicle. Cheers.
  10. Guys, thank you all so much for the useful advice, yes i went to a local dealer today to ask for skylines. He is selling a '96 R33 GTS25T Series 2 white skyline with sunroof, full comp, cd player, no alarm, with 69,000kms for $18,990. The exterior is immaculate with not a single scratch at all! the engine is a little dirty. What you guys think? Is this a good buy? It doesn't have any mods at all. 3/4 tank to go from canberra to sydney is that good or what?? race_snooze.
  11. Thanks adrian, for the advice. How about the size wise of the skyline, i'm a pretty big bloke at 6ft 4 (193cm) tall, would i fit just nicely into the GTS25T?
  12. Mates, i generally like the '96 GTS25T and above models because of it's exterior designs, i don't really like the more rounded ones in the 93-95 models. How much do i normally need to put aside to mod the car to exceed 200kw of power? What's the fuel efficiency like? and i heard the best petrol for this car is BP Ultimax? Is that true or false? Cheers
  13. guys how about the fastest speed in different gears for the GTS25T Manual? How fast does it go in 1st,2nd, 3rd and 4th gears and the RPM?
  14. Hi guys, i used to own a 1999 Toyota Celica. I am looking at the skyline ranges now. I feel that the celica is quite useless in terms of power. Am looking for a cheap skyline from japan because i've got only $18k as my budget. What versions of R33 GTSTs are there? Which are the R33s which are more powerful besides the GTR range? Please advice. Thanx!
  15. Dude, it's done almost 100,000kms. I dont think $22,500 is the right price to put it mate. Importing a 96 GTST R33 M Spec from jap only cost $16,000 for one which did 75,000kms.
