Nismo Gmax Twin Plate Clutch R32 Gtr
GTR032 replied to GTR032's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Sorry people, hardly been online lately as well as going overseas, but clutch definitely available and first here with $100 can take it. I would rather not send it interstate but if no one local is keen then i'll think about it. Cheers Jono -

Next to nothing. It did drive but slipped any where after around 4000rpm.. Hasn't been used for about a year. -
Hey, Got this left over from when I had my GTR. Fitted into my 94 model R32 so it's for the late model 32 GTR's only and R33 GTR's too yeah? I bought it second hand and its now pretty well worn out. Thats why the price is..$100 First person here to pick it up gets it. Not keen on sending it anywhere.. I have no use for it whatsoever any more..won't fit on the motorbike hehe. I haven't had a quote to rebuild it (if I can get time I will) but for $100 plus rebuild costs it'd be an awesome clutch for the money. Located Rouse Hill, Sydney. PS..Pics coming

Go the GTSS! They are what everyone says they are... Fast spooling, good street level power output. I got mine from Greenline for $3700 (including GST at customs). Dont go the rebuilt stock route..I did at first and it was crap. Go for the good stuff straight away, save you time and effort in the long run and better off money wise. Cheers

Hey I had a similar problem with my GTR. Driveline started to vibrate on medium to hard acceleration and only when it was about 70km/h and over. First thing to be done was the centre bearing, did look pretty worn but didnt fix it. Wheel alignment and balance on 2 different sets of wheels. Checked all rear bushes and links. Replaced front prop shaft as the uni joint was pretty flogged out (wasn't affecting vibration as it wouldnt make any difference with this shaft out ie 2WD). Replaced small rubber and metal sleeve mounts for gearbox crossmember, again, worn out but didnt fix problem. Took out tailshaft and put back in but rotated it around from original position. From what the mechanic told me there is 4 different ways for it to go back in. He moved it one mounting positon around and it was all fixed. It took a bit of money and research to get it sorted for an annoying problem but probably was a good thing to get all these worn out bits n pieces replaced before they broke or caused potential damage. Last year i got a letter in the mail form the EPA saying an officer had 'suspected' my car was over the 90db limit..I was never pulled over which makes it harder to take..but anyways, i got a test done at a local exhaust shop, measured 96 at 5000rpm. Went back to them a few days later with some restriction baffle plates i made up and it measured 91db..the very kind exhaust shop guy filled out the appropriate paperwork saying it was 89. Used this paperwork and paid my $60 fee or whatever it was and thats it. Took the restriction plates out that same day. I did make a thread on here about it.

hehe good thread.. *thinks of back in the good 'ol days* When i was driving to school the range of cars were pretty crappy..majority were mid 80's RWD corolla's, late 70's and early 80's model celica's, a few vw beetles, and old statesman v8 burnout machine, a quick datto 260z..I dont know which was the coolest but the flashiest was a brand new excel haha oh dear.. This was 1998 btw

Saw 'DHC' this morning on showground rd, castle hill. Danny 'JDM32R' near harbour bridge this afternoon..and a heap others but i cant remember plates

Tein Super Street - What Do You Know?
GTR032 replied to Blitz_boy's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
If they are anything like the Type Flex then they'd be great! Perfect in my opinion -
The GTR turbo's are ultimately a smaller turbo than that on a GTST..
-
It's got 24 i tells ya! and disc brakes..and front shocks.. hmmm might have to steal one of the oldies cars to come along..
-
Since I sold my car i bought myself a mountain bike.. reckon it could make 1 kw?? lol

R32 Gtr Running Costs: My Experience!
GTR032 replied to benm's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
I bought my 32 GTR is early 2003, and just sold it last week actually. 1994 32 GTR with 49000km's. Now got about 110000km's. MODS HKS GTSS turbo kit $3800 POWER FC $980 Profec B Boost cont. $400 Apexi pods $300 Exedy clutch $600 HKS cam gears $260 TEIN coil overs $2200 HKS front pipes $900 TRUSt cat back $1200 Hi flow cat $250 WORK rims n tyres $4200 MINES dump pipes $300 Now for some maintenance Front upper control arm bushes DBA 4000 discs and pads $400 Nismo Clutch second hand $900 lasted about 3000kms Tyres for 18's $880 Tyres for stockers $790 3 years worth of oils, fluids $probably 600? Slave cyclinder $200 Heater hoses $500 Thats only just scratching the surface.... Haven't included tuning, painting, rego, insurance of $3800 when I got the car as a 21yr old. There's a lot more especially on maintenance. I did keep 99% of the receipts but the new owner has all of these. When i had the new turbo's put on the total cost was $3000 as the engine came out and a heap of other parts were replaced ie belts, engine mounts, TOMEI gaskets, rear main oil seals etc etc etc.. My only regret of owning and doing all this to my old car is that I should of payed it off rather than doing all these mods just yet...anyways -
Thanks guys n girls If anyone has some more photos of the car can you please post them up or email me on [email protected] thanks! Oh and tosh I wouldn't say owned..it was close haha The wheels were definitely WORK termist S1C 2 piece ok mona Jono

Not all mechanics do blue slips, almost all do pink slips though. I think if it has a sign saying "Authorised inspection station' or something similar they do blue slips.

Can get new from nissan but I think they're like $90 or something stupid

yeh 4THRLZ..well it's still around but he's just got normal plates on it and it's now just got a SSS non turbo engine in it. It just kept breaking gboxes with the GTIR engine and he quit work and started going to uni so needed a reliable car with little cash.
