Hi, I have a 32 GTR and I took the turbo's off my car by myself at home. I'm definitely not a mechanic at all, but I did it. Took 2 nights to do it, about 4 or so hrs each night. I just unbolted whatever i thought needed unbolting Front pipes where first to come off along with all intake and associated intercooler piping. No idea what was the 'right' order to do things or not, i then unbolted the the coolant/oil lines from the front turbo, unbolted the turbo off the exh manifold, undid the 6 bolts of the exh manifold to block and managed to get enough leverage to pull turbo out with manifold still just attached on studs to block. After turbo and exh. manifold came out separately you can start doing it all again with rear turbo. This ones a little harder, less room etc. I left the manifold attached to the turbo and a little painfully I pulled out all together. undoing the necessary oil and coolant lines were damn annoying (hard to un do!). I had a quote to pull turbo's off, then put back on with all new HKS gaskets for around $850. So far its cost me nothing apart from the turbo rebuild/hi flow. Once again, im not a mechanic, never been one Only had a basic socket set with a few little extras connection pieces. Jono

I saw a few on cars while I was in Japan earlier this year. Very expensive brand new, but we searched through the Japan Yahoo Auctions website and found a few pairs, all around the 100 dollar mark. Jono

Hey guys good thread here, Here is a list of parts I had to replace after I bought my very stockish 94 model GTR.. - 3 Heater/water hoses at rear of engine - Clutch slave cyclinder - Suspension (replaced with TEIN TYPE FLEX COILOVERS) - Front rotors (replaced with DBA 4000series slotted) - Front castor rod bushes - Front pipes, cat and cat back exhaust system - All front CV joint rubbers All these were done because of standard parts had failed or not up to the task anymore. Just an idea of possible parts that need replacing/servicing. MODS - HKS Exhaust system - Apexi Pod filter kit - HKS SSQ Blow off valves - Coil overs - 18" WORK rims Plus some adjustable cam gears and a Power FC yet to be fitted. Without a doubt the best modification/part replacement I've done is the suspension! Such an amazing handling transformation - recommended for sure!! Sorry this probably doesn't help much.. Jono

Not that this has much reference to you..but, i put an exhaust system on my GTR, power went up 25KW's at all four wheels with nothing else changed. Came at a cost though. TRUST cat back was $1200 and HKS front pipes were almost $900. From what i've seen at several dyno days, R33 GTST's with about 13-14psi, full exhaust, air filter run about 180kw's at the wheels. Every single dyno is different but around 180rwkw seems to be about the normal figure. Jono
