BUMP...............PRICE DROP-------------$9,500

Bump-idi-bump-bump $9,900! Give me a call to come & see the car in the flesh. The first buyer will be blown away by the condition. 4 doors = Practicality! But it is still fast sexy! (unlike all the other 4 door skylines)

Hi Frank, what's your offer? I'm chasing anything over $10,000. I don't want to muck around too much, so if you're interested, email me and we can organise a time to look at the car. Cheers, Jonny

Hi, Before I polish her up and enlist all her details, I just wanted to get a feel for the kind of interest there is for my car. I am having financial difficulties at the moment and it looks like I need to sell my beloved car. Now I just took a few pics just a minute ago. **Please note that if I do get some interest in the car on this forum, I will have it detailed completely with the car coming up much better than it looks in the pics at them moment. Now this car is a 1993 R33 Skyline. Firstly though, I must say that it looks a hell of a lot more modern and newer than that. It looks more modern than half of the new cars coming out. I have upgraded most of the exterior to look like a Series II (1996-'97). If you look at the rear lights, they are totally different to all the other R33 sedans going around. They actually physically stick out the back (kind of like a Ferrari 355 ) Overall the car is in very, very good condition. I always get compliments with the car, mostly because there are so many R33 Coupes around the place and everyone else has the Series 1 Sedan, which in my opinion looks ugly and nothing like my car. If uniqueness is also your thing, you’ll like this car! If I wasn't in urgent need of the money, I would expect much more for the car, but because sometimes life isn't always smooth sailing, I will definitely consider any offers of $10,000 or above . For that price, this car is a steal. Do some research and you will not find this car any cheaper in the whole of Australia! Try and find a car for $10,000 that looks this modern, drives this well, and has the performance of a Turbo Skyline? If this is your budget, I’m pretty sure you will not find a better overall car for this price. Quick rundown, it’s a: Silver 1993 Nissan Skyline R33 GTS25T Sedan (Turbo) 85,000kms Auto Bought April last year at 60,000kms & always garaged and well maintained since. It drives beautifully and there is nothing mechanically wrong with the car. Runs well, changes gears smoothly, used 98 Octane fuel only, etc. If you're interested in further details/pics or you are genuinely interested in the car, please email me at: [email protected] I will not accept trade because, as I already stated, I wouldn't be selling her if I didn't need the money. Lastly, I just want to say that if you email me I will get back to you straight away. I know how frustrating things can get when people don’t reply! So if you’re really interested, email me, and you can have a look at the car ASAP. First in first served. Cheers, Jonny **Below are the pics. Note I included a picture (not my car) of a Series I R33 sedan for comparisons of the rear lights.

What's the best price you can do? You are going to have to come down in your price because those scratches are too big and there isn't enough tread left to demand that price. my email is [email protected]

A quick note that I got the car back today (the conversion anly took 2 days) and will post some pics later. The results are amazing the car looks at least 5-10 years newer.

Hi, below is a link to the grill that I have for sale. I have just bought a GTR grill so it is not needed anymore. Regards Jonathan http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...item=4608964602

If those were in fact Nissans reasons behind it I think that the tiny boot space was a pretty huge compromise for such small gains as mentioned above
-
An obvious choice would be lack of bonnet space??

Yeah thanks. Both lights and the garnish set me back a very reasonable $450. Dropped in to see my cousin who is a panel beater yesterday and he reckons that they will slot right in no problems. He also quoted me $100 to prep, paint and fit the lights….I owe him one! So that’s $550 all up. I took some pics yesterday of the back, so I will post the before and after pics when the cars done. Jlnewton, what year is yours? And did the back/taillights of a series 1 sedan play a role in your decision twice to purchase a series 2? The car I got them off was a 1997 40th anniversary and the rear wing and stock body kit was simply just really nice. Shame that one side of the car was in bits and pieces, scattered on the side of a highway somewhere because I really liked those skirts!
-
I have picked up the lights and the centre garnish today & they are in perfect condition. The car I got them off was a 1997 series 2 40th annerversary special edition and it alsol had a special edition spoiler. Anyway the spoiler looks great but the guy won't sell it without the boot. My question is would the boot also be interchangable with my series 1 boot? Thanks
-
Also, the only difference I can notice with the lights is that the blinkers are in a different spot. Would that be a problem or do you think that it would be easy to get around? And Chris I'll let you know the end result. Thanks
-
Thanks chaos, i'll try them in the morning! Do you know anywhere that would possibly have them in stock? Or if it doesn't take too much time could you please give me the names of the main mobs that you know in Australia? Thanks
-
Jlnewton, you must have one of the only series 2 R33 sedans in brisbane. Good on you they look sweet. Does anyone know any contacts in the spare parts industry? I contacted about 20 places on saturday and not one of them has series 2 sedan tail lights. Over half didn't even know that there was a difference between the two series. It's hard enough finding skyline sedan parts as it is. Thanks
-
Hi no the second pic is just a Series 2 sedan. Most people hate the back of the R33 series 1 sedan & because the series 2 sedan is so rare, most people do not know it exists. Rarity - that's one reason why I want to do the conversion.
-
Hi everyone I really need some advice from you guys. I have a Series 1 R33 Sedan - the one with the ugly taillights lol. I'm in the processes of doing her up but I can't get past the lights. Anyway I want to do a conversion to Series 2 taillights. So basically I want to rip them out and chuck in series 2 ones. Has anyone done this before? What I need to know is, is it possible? Thanks PS. Below are the only two pics that I could find the 1st a series 1 (silver one) and the 2nd a series 2. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/photopost.../big/perpage/12 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/photopost...door/perpage/12
