  7. Make: Nissan Model: Skyline Milage: 128000 Transmission: Manual Colour: Fully reprayed in House Of Colour "How" Green with gold spec glitter Location: Adelaide Complied? Yes RWC supplied? Recently went to regency, I have the paperwork to say its roadworthy Currently registered? Yes Price: $13 000 ono Contact: 0433196637 Comments / Modifications:Dynoed at 148rwkws on stock boost, just a catback exhaust on the morpowa dyno. Engine is in excellent condition!!I have serviced the car every 5000kms.I have only had to change the starter motor in the whole time of owning the car and I have done several interstate trips in this car and it has never missed a beat! It has 19 inch lenso rims with near new tyres. This car is far from thrashed out like allot of the other 32's youl come accross if youv been in the market for something nice for a while! Im also including the rest of the vertex body kit which is not currently on the car My reason for selling is because im in the market for something with a bit more room and more friendly for interstate travel. Im interested in swapping for Subaru Foresters and the like. But no commodores or falcons please! Give me a call or sms me to come see the car in person and i highly doubt youl be dissapointed! 8. Hi Nigelp the rims are actually mine, just sent you a PM. cheers
  9. Ok iv just cleaned out my spade connection and got my wife to try and crank the car while was in there with a multimeter to see if its getting 12v through the spade connection wire and it seems to be getting it. damn! im actually dissapointed because i thought it would be that. I also ran a new wire to the starter wire to see if the plug was dodgy and that didnt work either. 2nd hand or new solenoid it is then i guess.. although il be roll starting it onto the pits tommorow i think. thanks anyway guys
  10. Ok thanks for the advise guys.. Yeah iv tried disconnecting the solenoid and bolting the wires back up again but doesnt seem to of made a difference. I will do as you suggest though BH SLO32 and examine the wires all the way along back to the battery... I rang regency and told them my problem just incase i cant getit fixed by tommorow and they said that they cant defect me again for having a dodgy starter in itself. Hopefully thats true. cheers
  11. Hey everyone. Im booked in for my 2nd visit at regency on thursday but iv got another problem with my starter solenoid. My car is intermittanly not wanting to start, i.e not nothing happening at all when i turn the key. Up untill no iv just been giving it a bit ova tap with a hammer and it starts up ok. Now i had this problem a while ago but i had the starter motor removed and checked when i had my clutch changed and my mechanic said that it looked fine. After re-installation i didnt have a problem for a number of months untill i degreased the engine bay again in preperation for regency trying to have my defect cleared. The problem is becoming worse and worse now and i want to try and fixit b4 thursday. Can anyone tell me if it is possible for degreaser to get inside the solenoid and break down some of the grease inside causing the solenoid to stick ? I wouldnt of thought this would be possible as it appears to be a sealed unit. If not then it may just be a coincidence that the problem returned for the 2nd time after a good degreasing. Any help and advise is much appreciated guys. cheers
  12. ok thats good news.. .. atleast its not some obscure part i have to find.. can anyone else confirm whether or not the rear struts from gts t to gtr are the same dimensions and just have a different lower mount ? cheers!
  13. nah justa gts t.. i found some gtr rear struts but just not sure if they will be the same as what i have, bolt up looks the same but length wise and all that iv got no idea if they will fit
  14. Hey everyone. I had to replace a leaky right hand rear shock on my r32 gts t in order to please regency park after being defected. Anyway its a November 92 build and i ordered in a brand new gabriel rear shock that was listed for all r32's gts,gts-t. anyway, the shock i got has the round eyelet on the bottom and my gts t has the gtr style fork mount. Someone has either changed the hub in the past or its just another one of those things nissan do as ivcome across lots of weird combos of parts in my time of owning 3 r32's. I know similar things like this have been covered in the past but i couldnt find my exact answer i need. Considering that i have the fork mount setup should i just be looking into getting a stock gtr strut ? im in a bit of a hurry now to get this sorted as the car has been defected for atleast 6 weeks now. cheers
  15. hmmm interesting.. The compliance plate says Priority Porsch Imports.. Meh, i think im going to have to just bite the bullet and install the bastards..3rd week now of not being able to drive my car is getting very frustrating not to mention all the hardship it causes without my car. I just want it back on the road. Cheers
  16. Couldnt imagine how that must feel.. If i am ever in the same position i hope someone else with a bit of strength is with me because i seriously think i would loose it. Like you said, the amount of time and effort it takes to have your pride and joy how you want it and then some stupid bitch takes it away from you. Hope it all turns out for you!
  17. cheers 4 all the replies fellas. I actually discussed the whole indicator thing with the regency inspector and said to him that in my eyes the buldge on the front indicator is visibl from 5 degrees however he said theres no 2 ways about it i need to install them. How do i argue with regency though, its stupid, they set down the rules and they dont even listen when you try to explain i find. Cruizen33 : eyebrow height is from bottom lip of guard to centre of the wheel.. should be 360mm minimum on an r32, even though all the stock ones iv measured so far fall around the same as mine 357ish which is one of the things i was defected for in the 1st place.. In my case, regency didnt even check this, so in other words they didnt even bother checking what the cops originally defected me for. pfft,
  18. worn globes... must be all the burnouts you were chucking with them right ? bit like how my tune up sticker could of caused a serious crash. lol nah cars a gts t.. my old 89 wasa gts, didnt have them... my wifes isa 1990 4dr gts t and hasnt got them either
  19. nah i believe that there stock front panels. Im thinking that if my car did have them b4 that they were removed and the holes welded over when the last owner had the car sprayed from black to how green my brother got stick on indicators that just require a small hole to be drilled for the wire, theyr clear now amber though so dont know if theyll like that.. rad33... lol... defected for indicators not being amber enough... lol
  20. thanks for the offer dude. Iv got my old trx pinny rear brake light here im going to put in, it also sits in the rear window.. ok if your 93 has them then its a good indication that the inspector was correct and my car did have them.. cheers for your quick reply!
  21. Hey everyone. I had another thread in the suspension area about my car being defected for being too low. Well i went through regency yesterday and they didnt even check the eyebrow height measurement that i got defected for. lol.. just straight over the pits. Anyway the guy has written on my form Re-instate eyelevel rear brake light Re- instate 5 degree side indicators Fix broken manifold stud fix exhaust leak after cat converter. Brake light is fair enough i think because i forgot that the spoiler was taken off when the car ws sprayed etc, easily fixed but the guy rekns that my car should have indicators in the front guards that must be visible from 5degrees at rear of car. My car is a r32 92 11th month. It doesnt even look like indicators were in there in the 1st place. No wiring for them etc. Just wanted to check if anyone knows if my car being the last of the 32's has to have these indicators installed ? My old 89 and my wifes 90 model havnt got them. Oh and i asked the guy why has this been picked up now and not the other 4 times all up with the last owner the car has been through regency, and he said i have no idea.. lol. So yeah anyone know if he's talking crap or not ? Cheers
  22. a really cheap option might be to do what i have done with my R32 to try and raise the suspension and clear the car from defect. Make up, or have made up for you some metal plates that sit on the top hat of the strut over the 2 bolts that go into the tower. Work out how much higher youll need to go, for eg, if you want to raise it by 10mm get a 10mm plate and wack in in there. You might want to consider going longer studs on the top hat than standard as i have done so that you can still safely bolt the struts in. Im pretty sure this would be a good cheap option for you dude but somebody else with a few more suspension smarts than myself might be able to shed some more light on this for you.. good luck
  23. ^^yeah iv found this out recently^^. Iv now raised the car to 365mm eyebrow height and im ready for some off road action, lol, just got to get monster truck wheels for it now and regency should be happy.haha by the way though, we just wacked 2 small washers on the inside of the strut tower and used some black silicone to seal of the small gap between the top hat of the strut and the strut tower. Im hopeing that regency find this acceptible, does anyone know if what iv done will be allowed or not ? as i said, its raised the eyebrow height plenty. cheers fellas
