the revs drop a bit much?? hmm it sounds like the 34 gearboxes dnt like the shift kit as much asthe 33?? abo bob do you think it is worth getting the kit?? seeing as you blew your box when you put it in i am a bit worried? has any one else on here put it in a r34 tiptronic or just abo bob

HI buddy, Sounds like a quick and easy mod. Im just wondering it you can do it to an auto??? i have r34gtt tiptronic. i think they run slightly higher than standard boost when stock?? or is it just always on full boost no step up in boost levels after certain rpms like the step which this mod gets rid of?? I am not too sure i would really like to know though coz if its the same as a manual i will do the diy mod asap. any help would be appreciated

i pulled my light out the oother day drilled a really small breather hole in it (from the back)stopped the moisture build up completely.

you obviously bought a shit skyline buddy i have three in my family and they are all in tip top shape one has done 140000. You should have been more careful when buying or it could be that you dont take care of it. Go sell it and buy a vz they have probably dropped to the same price by now.

hmm good thinking with the clear drying stuff i was going to use sicaflex which dries black. i wonder if it works with a hairdrier?? ah well i will try and let you know

what kit did you get 6000 or 8500k??? how long have you had them in ??

i know it is really annoying i hate little trivial things like that i have priced two new head lights the cheapest i can get them for is 520 and he will give me 150 for mine so 370 ea. Someone said something about using a heat gun to soften up the glue. Oven sounds to risky for me too hahahaha tnen i am worried about reseal them what can you use??

hi all, i have an r34gtt and the passenger headlight gets moisture bulid up inside. Does anyone know who to fix it. Also does anyone know how to get the clear cover off so i can clean the inside?? i took the light out and took all the clips off and it still wouldnt come off is it glued ???? any help would be muchly appreciated.

Hi all, my lights on my gtt have been converted Bummer! I have been looking for conversion kits like the kaixen one from bos importing. Although mine have been changed from xenon to halogen can i still use the conversion kit to change them back??? Someone on here said the kits are crap why do you say that is there something wrong with them?? does anyone know exactly what the conversion kit does???? any help would be really good thanks

i drive a tiptronic auto because i drive heaps far to work everyday and im lazy. manual is definately better and more fun though. however, I have to say in the my auto's defence the r34 tiptronic box isn't too bad it gives you a little bit more control than a r33 Auto. especially with hills driving the paddle shift is pretty good.

COMMOS SUCK ALL ROUND!! they are tin cans on wheels. They are made on the cheap especially parts of the car that arent visible like wiring so many shorts cuts were taken. i have never heard of skylines being recalled either and just the other day a whole heap of COMMONWHORES were recalled. how would you feel buying a brand new car then receiving a letter or phone call stating your car needed to be recalled to rectify a major problem. i would ask for refund. hahahahaha IM SO GLAD I HAVE SKYLINE!!!!!!!!!!!! apparently workers at the nissan factory are devoted to their jobs they all live around the factories in tight knit communities and take pride in their work and their product. thats what someone has told me i dont know how true this is, but judging by the build quality i would say it is?? has anyone ever been there and seen there manufacturing plant in operation??

hmmmmm sounds likely. looks like i will be investing in a safc2 as mine is a tiptronic so i can't get a powerfc. i was also thinking of going trust emanage have you heard anything about them in terms of mating them up to an auto box?? thanks for that info though its good to be able to correspond with ppl that have had the same type of problems as trusting a mechanic can sometimes be costly. and this type of problem is hard to diagnose i know my way around a skyline engine bay, but when it comes to little problems like this misfire and you have tried everything you know of it to fix it feels like hitting a brick wall. atleast you can go to the mechanic fully informed. knowing these sorts of things really changes the way they treat you.

mate you don't live in SA you have no idea how bad the cops are here. They hate imports especially Skylines. They will literally pull you over for no reason and defect you even if they can't find something major they will do you for something trivial. They target imports they must have competition running between themselves to see who can defect the most skylines.

i took them out and thoroughly inspected them no scorch marks cracks etc plus the fact that they work most of the time now makes me think they are fine. coils are either broken or working from my understanding they dont work intermitently?? also my car was fine before i put iridium plugs in it then it started happening

i had the same problem mate my coils were fine however it only started happening when i put in new iridium plugs. for the moment i gapped them right down to .6 and this fixed the problem but still happens from time to time i am going to put some copper ngk plugs in next i have a feeling its the iridium plugs but i will test and see if its is

is it in the same spot for the 34?? i think it is above the rb25 on the blue plate its says gv1 g the car is black. does anyone know if that is correct because i wan to get my mags sprayed to match colour of car??
