i think you will all find he will post better pics and a dyno graph very soon but its no bullshit this car is awesome i have seen it with my own eyes and seen the dyno sheet. everyone who is whinging will be eating their words. also as if cops don't check this sit out so posting exactly what is done to you car can be dangerous.

hi all, i have r34gtt had the same popping misfire after 4000. I checked my coils because that seemed most likely. However, they were brand new the car has only done 55000km. My problem only started when i changed my plugs over from standard to iridium. so I tried gapping them to .75 that didn't work then i gapped them to .6 that seemed to fix the problem but i still get the mis every now and then most of the time it works no miss. So i guess its the plugs so for those of you that are thinking about changing plugs don't get iridium they seem to be my problem. i will get some ngk copper plugs and change them next possible chance i get i will keep you all posted and let you know if it worked. any other suggestions advice would also be good.

i have an apexi pod filter and its works great. Its very loud though. It was the first mod that i did and i really noticed the difference felt allot quicker.

Hi all guys my mum has a na series 1 r33 automatic when i was a teenager i used to drive it sometimes and at the time all my mates had vl vs vr commos and whenever i got my hands on my mums 33 we used to go out dragging each other. I used to win everytime so i can't see a vt being much quicker. Commonwhores suck!! why would you want a car made by beer swilling ferals from elizabeth SA i have heard some really funny stories about the holden production line like employees putting empty coke cans inside door trims just for a laugh. And as if a TJ magna would beat a 33 gtst your dreaming mate might be really close between a gen3 and a standard 33gtst though. But i know for a fact a r34gtt beats a gen3 because i have done it a few times. Skylines overall are just a much better car and im not being biased its just the pure fact.

that sounds likely also mine sometimes does it still aswell, but only rarely now well it looks like i will have to get safc2 aswell. ah well atleast its not my coils

standard boost but i have an exhaust airfilter and intercooler so maybe slightly higher than standard also i think auto run slightly higher boost anyway you reckon its the ecu?? thats interesting how do you know this??? mine was doing it all weather didn't matter just as soon as it was under full boost bang it would misfire.

hi guys i had the same problem that you all discribe the misfire after 4000rpm. i have a r34gtt tiptronic i checked my coils they were fine no cracks because at first i thought that was it, it seemed likely seeing as i had gapped my plugs down to .75 from 1.1 and that didn't fix the problem. when i checked the coils i was surprised to find them all perfect. Someone told me at first when i was having the problem to gap the plugs to .6 i was reluctant seeing as everyone else recommended gapping to .75. So just out of interest and out of desperation i pulled the plugs out and gapped em to 0.6 and what do you know it works perfect now the car boots no probs all the way through the rev range. so before you invest in some new splitfires as i was about to check to see if gapping the plugs right down works. IT DID FOR ME!! anyways guys hope i have helped becuase i hate when my car isn't running perfect it drives me nuts. now i just have to sort out a problem with my front head lights they have tampered with the originals to get them through regency apparently. so if anyone knows how to fix them or who can turn them back to how they were originally any help would be good

i have a black one man and yours is in red so i will have to spray it and that can b pretty pricey. how much do you want for it ???? i really don't know how much its worth and don't want to make an offer that you think is ridiculous so you come back at me with a price and i will consider it. i think that works better. thanks mate

this daughter board sounds like a good idea i have an r34 gtt auto seeing as it still is basically the standard ecu but programmable it will work with the auto transmission. i am in adelaide does any one here know how to tune it ??? if so i will be interested in this group buy aswell how much roughly though??

hi all, i am having a problem with misfiring over 4000rpm. i have an automatic r34 with an exhaust and airfilter and its not boosted over the factory setting. At first i thought it was the gap in the spark plugs so i gapped them from 1.1 to .75. when i gapped the plugs i checked all the coils they seemed to be fine. after gapping the plugs it only half fixed the problem. as now the misfire only occurs when i stomp on the throttle in drive (sometimes). if i use the tiptronic and floor it or if i gradually take it up in the revs it doesn't miss at all. from what everyone is saying on the other threads i may have a hairline crack in the coils somewhere, but as it doesn't miss when being eased up or while using tiptronic i thought it may be something else??? does anyone have any ideas as to what this could be or is anyone having a similar problem any help would be muchly appreciated

yes that front bar is the one i want and there are different side skirts i want an orignal nissan item though. it looks soo much better than the stock one!!! have you got one??

has anyone got a r34 gtt nismo front bar i think it s called an aero kit or something????
