Hi all, Now that i have your attention i have been thinking about possibly organising a Track day with a slight twist! putting japans racing marques up against each other for bragging rights. i have been talking to a few owners of all three makes mentioned and most of seem keen on the idea about having a track day/time attack day This is just in its infancy at the moment i am more or less just gauging interest i know a few of you go on track days etc obviously you would need a track ready car with all cams basics ie cams liecence fire extinguisher helmet etc so in terms of structure i was thinking of splitting the field in to groups ie novice intermediate expert etc then awarding points for the most succesful make based on average time of entrants in the group. so if you are so if you are keen post your interest suggestions etc this intial stage is just so i can have an idea of number so i can work out prices possible dates etc and possible points schemes i am all ears at the moment. a few of these kinds of days have been organised interstate so i figure why should we miss out here in SA, we have plenty of Nice track ready GTR's, EVO's and STI's so why not use em if its all too hard it do if it is all too hard it doesnt really matter i just thought i would give it a try! V35s look soo much better in the flesh than in pics My dad had the black one with 20's getting around for a while he sold it about 6 months after buying it though. nice cars to cruise, but are not really performance orientated. In saying that it still goes pretty hard for an NA

mate there is no way that a stock gtt would beat a stock evo 8-9. i have owned both and my stock nine would kill a stock 34gtt so long as you dont bog down on launch that is. i know you may love you car as i do and as i did when i owned my gtt, but facts are facts stock evo is quicker especially on the track and in the twisties. Once you start modding the line and the evo gtt might start to become on par as when i did ecu exhaust filter on my gtt the thing became a rocket straight line, however, too twitchy in the hills for my liking loads of fun though. Still love the look of the 34 very sexy car well built too!

If or When You get your arse in to an evo you won't look back!!! and all the comments on the interior are true about earlier model evo's, but the 7-9 are really nice inside. i had a GTT and they are nice cars, but my evo kicks the shit out of it! and its stock! out of the box the evo is a weapon!

all the evo boys are expecting some skylines at the original cruise. if it rains i understand no skylines will come but if it doesn't should make for a good cruise so all that have the orignal Pm come to the hills run!!!!!!
